(Y/N)'s Point of View

We reached Nacrene City at around 5 am, the sun is still down and the sky is still dark. Yet I can see a few people fixing their stalls for another day of opening their shops.

Serena pulled out her smartphone and wrap his arms around mine so we could take a picture together. Serena was rather excited and happy.

Ash then pouts and joined Serena and I for a picture. I gave them a warm smile until I notice that Cilan was just sitting down the sidewalk.

I then approach him and said,"Cilan? Are you okay?"I tapped his shoulder and sat down beside him.

"I'm fine. Why don't you go and join them? It's boring to stay with me."He sighed and looked away.

"That's not true. For being with you for 2 weeks... I'd say you're the funniest person I have ever met."I chuckled.

He then turned his attention to mine and gave me a smile."You really mean it?"

I nodded and giggled. Cilan has this side that he really doesn't show to anyone. He may be the funniest and most approachable person in the gym, Cilan also have some problem of his own that he chose not to share with anyone.

But...

"I think Ash enjoys being with Serena."Cilan mumbled, sniffing and weeping.

"That's not true. He's just excited that he met his friend that he haven't seen for a long time. Isn't that what you'll feel when Ash left for like a year and visits you? You're gonna focus all your attention to him."Cilan nodded and wipe his tears.

"(Y/N).. What if... Ash's real fate was to be with Serena?..."Cilan said, staring at Serena and Ash,"Because look... Ash.. Deserves to be with... A girl."

I then started to pause. I do not know what to say anymore...

"Ash.. Is a guy.. And I myself too.. But yes, I do love Ash... But I do not think that he think of me the same way as I do. He just loved me because he has no choice. Because I kicked Serena out of our lives."Cilan clutched his fist and tears started welling up again. This isn't the Cilan I know...

"Cilan... Time will tell. If Serena stays with us in the Striaton Gym, and Ash ended up falling for her. Then that's the time you should tell that to yourself."I replied, holding his hand and standing up.

"H..hey."Cilan just stood up as well and glared at me.

"Smile Cilan. You don't deserve to cry."I smiled at him and I can see how his cheeks started to turn pink and a slight grin slid onto his lips.

"Okay.."He then smiled at me and continued,"Let's head to the Nacrene City Museum then?"

Cress then approached us and cleared his throat,"It's not mainly inside the Nacrene Museum, it's outside."

"So we're not going in?"Cilan asked.

"No, there's a basement entrance behind the museum. It's covered with bushes so you can hardly see it."Cress explained.

Serena and Ash then approaches us as well,"What are we waiting for! Let's go!"Ash said..

Until I notice that Ash was gripping Serena's hand. Cilan seems to not notice it.. So I guess it's better if I don't mention it to him...

Serena seems uncomfortable by Ash, I think she's rather disturbed by it because she's worried that Cilan might get mad at her.. Mmm..

Serena's Point of View

I was trying to shake Ash's hands off mine because Cilan is around and I do not want him to think that I'm stealing Ash from him.

I then gently pulled my hands away from his, which is successful... But I notice that Ash slightly got upset when I removed it from his... Could it be that?

No, Serena. It's just the right thing. Do not manipulate Ash to do so. Do not let him fall for you completely. Ash and Cilan are together and by doing so, I became a bad friend to him.

At least that's what Cilan would think. He would probably throw me down their Cellar and torture me with sharp and hurtful words. Urgh..

I then stepped away from Ash and said,"Let's go! We have no time to lose!"

We then rushed towards the Basement as Cilan cut the bushes so he would clear the way..

It took him around 4 minutes to finish cutting it.

"Hurry!"Cilan shouted, as we run down the stairs, but a locked, metal door kept us from getting in.

"We need the password.."Cress muttered...

"There should be any valuable clues down here.."(Y/N) started to check every corner of the room but there's nothing to be found..

Until..

"A-hah!"Cress then grabbed a paper from up the tree and unfortunately, he fell down.

Cilan paused for a moment before he even helped Cress up. We didn't get to react because we were like frozen still.

Unable to move and catch Cress so he could be saved from falling.

"I'm fine.."Cress then opened the folded paper and saw that it was a password for the door.

Cilan helped Cress to get up but Cress seems to have a fractured leg.

"Cress.."Cilan mumbled,"Can you still continue...?"

"Yes... I can do this."Cress typed the password on a keypad and the door was successfully opened.

Cress fell down on his knees and screeched,"Aghh! It hurts!..."

"Cress please stay there.. Promise we'll be out safely.."Cilan said, bandaging Cress' injured leg.

"..okay.."Cress smiled at Cilan,"Be careful everyone.."

Me and the others entered the room as Cress lie down the ground to rest his legs.

The room was pitch-black and we are unable to see anything. It was dark and cold..

"Cilan.."I heard Ash's voice mumbled.

"Don't worry. Just continue walking."Cilan replied.

It was silence.. Silence filled the room.. We continued walking without any source of light... We are also unable to find any traces of light... It was scary....

How could we ever leave this total darkness?...
