Melissa and He Is Near

Ángel stepped outside and came face-to-face with the stranger.

"P-please, don't hurt me," said the stranger.

"Relax, I won't do anything to you," Ángel replied.

"R-really?" the stranger asked hesitantly.

"Stay calm, I'm not a threat," Ángel assured her.

Meanwhile...

"Mm... why is Ángel talking? Is he sleep-talking, or does he have schizophrenia?" Andrea mumbled, still half-asleep.

"So, what's your name?" Ángel asked.

"I'm Melissa. And you?" Melissa replied.

"I'm Ángel. But what are you doing here?" Ángel asked.

"I was running away from the zombies when I ended up here," Melissa explained.

"Oh, I see. Do you have anywhere to go? Or are you heading somewhere specific?" Ángel asked.

"Uh... no, I don't," Melissa admitted.

"Mm... what if you come with us?" Ángel suggested.

"Uh... okay, but where are you going? And are there more people with you?" Melissa asked.

"To Chihuahua. And yes, there are more of us," Ángel replied.

"And why are you going to Chihuahua?" Melissa asked.

"Because there are people there I want to see one last time... well, if they're still alive," Ángel said with a sad tone.

"Oh, I see. But don't worry, everything will be okay—you'll see," Melissa said, trying to comfort him.

Five hours had passed, and Melissa had introduced herself to everyone. They had finally reached Chihuahua when they saw one of the strongest zombies charging toward them.

"Oh, shit. Girls, get out of here and head that way. I'll distract it!" Ángel yelled.

"You heard him! Come on!" Lucía said.

Ángel ran off, but as he continued, he began to see shadows.

"Not again, not now," Ángel muttered.

"I can't lose it right now. But where the hell do I find those pills?" Ángel said, frustrated.
