Grooved.

Arthit is an absolute liar. Or a great manipulator. In any case, nothing changed between them as Kongpob had agonized over. The part where Kong should have realized how easily he was being brainwashed is to be discussed in the future. Kongpob had studied life before coming to the city, but Arthit appeared to be out of the syllabus.

He had nothing to lose, nothing to gain, but now trying to crawl through the day without Arthit felt inappropriate. A shy smile always greets his face, when Arthit waits for him after classes. When Arthit, without any care of the world, kisses him in public. When Arthit, does not waver his eyes from Kongpob. When Arthit, only exists.

Relief washed over Kong when the senior continued his normal behavior. Even though he asked Kongpob what he wanted, Arthit was successful in pressuring him to make the decision of his choice. And Kongpob's mind was at peace.

He scolded himself for his inappropriate actions that night. What was he even thinking? Talking back to his boyfriend. After how well he was treated, Kongpob unknowingly drew the wrong conclusion. Moreover, thought it was correct to confront the same.

A sense of emptiness settled inside him thinking everything was over now. Until, Arthit called him his Lily, getting him on his lap and feeding him his favorite cheese sandwich.

Kongpob had to calm his nerves when the excitement eliminated the scary ideas. Those what-ifs didn't have a chance to get into action, as he got wrapped into that dangerously addictive warmth. He giggled inside thinking how he still is Arthit's baby.

He turned, meeting the hazel eyes, and was pulled into their fascination. Although overwhelming he did not want to ruin the mood by crying, instead, he gently kissed Arthit's hidden dimple.

Kong thought their way of working together would be changing overnight. Instead, it was Arthit, who was changed. Like a switch being turned on, the sweet version of Arthit had brightened Kong's world. It was weird and hopeful at the same time.

"What does my baby want to do today?" Arthit cupped his face and looked at him so softly that it was impossible for Kongpob to hide his smile.

How much did he just miss not having Kongpob in his arms? Arthit swallowed through the tightness, his stomach getting soft punches, as he stared at Kong's small beautiful face. How could he even think of making Kongpob shed tears? Just how ridiculous will he act?

His heart skipped plenty of beats as Kongpob hugged him, laying his cheek on his shoulder. "To be with you."

Kongpob looked at the clenched jaw. Arthit was too polite. That shouldn't have been the reaction. It is utterly wrong. Arthit should be angry at him. Scold him too. Hold his wrists and remind his discipline. But now, he'll take whatever comes his way.

He felt his body cradled tightly, and they sat there comfortably. For a very long time. Kongpob fell for Arthit's warmth all over again. Arthit avoided those feelings all over again.

The senior was quiet that day. Kongpob had the privilege to have the longest talk with his parents. They wanted to video call and have a look at their Berry. Arthit was not ready for Kongpob to leave his lap. And Kongpob was not yet ready to come out to his parents.

Arthit kissed Kong's neck. His sensual actions had Kong rolling his eyes in between the call. His ministrations continued but not once did he ask Kongpob to end the call. Arthit's brain was too tired to think but his lips kept moving on the smooth skin. Like a habit, like a necessity, to ensure he still has Kong for himself.

Kongpob was swirled over. The smile did not leave his face. Which struck Arthit's mind. Of how happy Kongpob is. He knows there's nothing to be jealous of, they are just his parents, but the evil voice just won't shut up. There's this fear inside him, of losing Kongpob. After yesterday's events, it is clear that Kongpob might not always like his company.

You did not want them to suffer, did you? Let them go, Arthit. Let them be happy.

Arthit unconsciously helped Kongpob on the couch as he got to his feet. Ready to walk away. And Kongpob in his panic mode instantly dropped the phone, grabbing Arthit's wrist.

"Did I do something wrong?" Kong pleaded.

"I have to go."

Kongpob wished to know what was happening inside Arthit's mind. Such sudden actions, subtle moves, and indirect affection are totally unacceptable. There must be a reason. He should tell Kongpob too. Why does only Kong seem to be involved in this relationship? However, a larger part of his soft heart always forgives Arthit.

When Arthit came back, Kongpob was still in the same spot. No one spoke a word of it. Cause Kongpob greeted Arthit with a shy smile, holding his hands out as Arthit leaned down to carry him.

Whatever may happen, he only needs Arthit.

Like right now, sitting and having dinner with Nova Reed, in a Restaurant's private booth seemed improper, while Arthit told him he'll join them soon.

"I hope you know why I'm trying to familiarize us?"

He raised his head, swallowing whatever he chewed in a worry. He wanted to reply something so as to not appear too rude. But nothing managed out. He met Nova's black eyes, matching perfectly with her complexion. Kong realized she only wears floral gowns and her insistence on that always makes her look appealing.

"Look Kongpob." Nova reached over, placing her hand over Kong's. Immediately tightening her grip, when the other tried to pull back. "I don't want to drag this game of hide and seek."

It is against her manners, but she never made a decision this fast, the way she was hooked by Kongpob and wanted him. The child though was being a little troublesome. Of course, considering no one ever told him anything. But that doesn't matter, does it? Money can get you anything.

"What does that mean?" Kongpob wriggled his hand. "Sorry, I'm not comfortable, please."

She sighs with a mild smile. He is just so cutely polite. Nova knew her friends were going to coo at him. And maybe tease him too.

"I know this might be surprising for you, but, I like you." Nova chuckles softly, keeping her hands on her lap. "I think I'm going crazy for you... I mean, from the moment I saw you with Knott, while you came for admission... At that time, you were so afraid like a kitten, tagging behind Knott everywhere."

"I'm not into women." He clarified quickly. It is the most important part. "I..."

Kongpob gulped down his words. When Arthit entered the room just in time. Everything fell silent. Kongpob felt himself gaining some power as he looked back at Arthit's eyes which focused back on him, neglecting Nova's company. He felt so giddy with the amount of attention shone on him.

Arthit slid next to him, wrapping his hand around Kong. Kissing his temple. "Are you fine?"

Kongpob nodded, inhaling the rich scent. As he stuffed more into Arthit. Taking a deep breath he looked up, peering with his blue round globes, making Arthit suck on some air.

"You are cold..." The senior cupped his neck with one hand. Pulling Kong closer. "Do we need to adjust the temperature? Is it too much."

"Excuse me, Rojnapat... What are you doing here?" Nova would not entertain this crudeness.

"Did I tell you, how adorable you look today?" Arthit grinned, nudging their noses. To hell with Nova. When he has a more treasurable, beautiful pearl in his hands.

He didn't care about her, but Kongpob was worried, of course, so he decided to acknowledge the matter.

"You ask out my boyfriend and you expect I won't be coming around? How's that possible?" Arthit holds up his hand. "Yes, he is my boyfriend, if you surprisingly didn't happen to know."

"Boyfriend, you say!" She scoffed, leaning forward to grab the glass of wine. "Nothing new, it is only a matter of time before you'll be dumping him as well... Or better I must say, how about you find yourself someone else... Let me take care of him."

Kongpob instantly stiffened in his hold. His fists held Arthit's shirt.

"Or I must also predict..." She continued. "What if Kongpob leaves you too?" Everyone had a weakness, Arthit is no God. "Detach yourself Arthit... You don't want another heartbreak, do you?"

"I'm not leaving him." Kongpob glared at her.

Arthit feels warm in his heart. Believing those sweet words. He gently pulled Kong closer. Placing a quick kiss on his head.

"We talked with his Uncle. And by the eagerness in his behavior I for now am sure, the words have reached your parents." Nova leans back. Crossing her arms. "In no time, they will be talking with you. And mind you both, but I don't think they have any reason to reject me."

"I don't want you, P'Nova." Kongpob mewled. His hand draped over his tummy. "I'm not ready for this."

"But I want you Kongpob." She smiled. And Kongpob cringed at that. Nova faced Arthit. "He is sweet, isn't he, Arthit?"

Arthit's fingers dug into his waist. The possessive hold trembled Kongpob. "He is mine."

Arthit banged on the table and got to his feet. Frustratingly he ran a hand through his neatly jelled hair. He hated it when he was irked in the wrong way. When someone poked their nose between the couple. He hated when someone talked about his Kongpob, when someone wanted what was his.

He bent down on the table, weight on his hands. "Kongpob belongs to me. So stop fucking yourself between us."

"I will not... My heart is yearning for this pretty boy... You could understand me better than anyone." Nova took her chance. Evoking Arthit.

What is the big deal for Arthit? One day or other he wouldn't even think of Kongpob, enjoying his night with someone else. It is a part of Arthit's life, so why is he making it a scene?

"Are you out of your mind?" Arthit smashed his palm once more. "Fucking shit!"

He breathed fire as he stood next to Kongpob. Staring at the figure who hunged his head. He won't ever let Kongpob go.

"Nova..." Arthit says. Looking down as Kong lifts his head with his teary eyes. "This will be the last time you ever try your luck on him."

"Oh just shut up... Time will decide who he'll choose." She replied nonchalantly. Gazing at Kongpob who won't even spare her a look.

"Only I will decide, who shall be with him." Arthit hisses, gritting his teeth. "Okay Kongpob?"

Kongpob timidly nods. Arthit can do anything to him. He is Kong's boyfriend after all. It is truly okay to take care of your boyfriend, no matter how possessive and irrational one can get.

"We are leaving," Arthit says. Knowing Kongpob will walk out with him.

"I want to make it work, Kongpob," Nova speaks genuinely, making him stop. "Give me a chance."

Kongpob locks the before, not following Arthit. The moment he does that, there's a bang on the door and another, and one more, and a series, no doubt. He smiles through his tears.

"P'Nova... I respect you... I really do... I liked meeting you too." Kongpob shakes his head, remembering Arthit's handsome face. "I want you to know that... I want to make it work, with him..."

When Nova doesn't reply he continues after taking a breath and smiles at her again.

"No one has said a good word about him... And I don't care... I've seen him take care of me like anything... Of course, he is overbearing and territorial, and I know it is against the morals but I like to give myself because it's him." He rubs his cheeks. He has less time to convey his words. There's a possibility Arthit might break the door. "He doesn't love me, he says I shouldn't either... But it is impossible to not love him, P."

"All of the people here, tell me he'll dump me... And I want to correct you all that he won't..." Because I've seen him at night, finding comfort in me. "He probably would never... Even if he never has any feelings for me... Even if he doesn't allow to confess me either... Still, I'll be happy to be with him... It is okay to be a one-sided love."

Nova rushed over to hug him. She'd lie if she said she didn't like the feeling. She hated that all the money she had was of no use. Kongpob would probably never choose her.

"Can't I even try?" She wished. Pulling back.

"Please, don't... It'll break me more... You are a nice person... I don't want to hurt you." Kongpob pleads.

"Your rejection is already hurting me..." She whispers, panicked with the change in her manner.

"I'm so sorry for that, P'Nova," Kongpob says, backing up more. "Please take this back, deal or whatever you call it, I don't want it."

"What about my plans... What about me liking you the way, you are liking him?"

Kongpob gulps. "I'm loving him, P'Nova... I don't know when I can tell him this... But I already love him so much."

There was another bang. Louder than the ones before. Along with continuous muffling. He could hear Arthit's desperate tone, instead of feeling proud he was scared of that tone. Arthit's weak version troubles him.

"Your parents will be disappointed in you." Nova was not ready to step down.

"I know... But they'll still want me happy." Yes, he knows.

"I could make your father lose the case."

Kongpob's lips trembled. His grandfather's land is the only thing dear to their family. "Are you threatening me?"

"You are leaving me with no choice." Nova cups his face. She knows how wrong this is.

Kongpob jerked back. Getting the lock. "I have no idea of your financial status... But P'Arthit is extremely wealthy."

Once he opened the door, Kongpob was met with Arthit's red eyes. And the rabid breathes. Kong quickly jumped on him, draping his hand around his neck. He hid his face in the crook. Arthit is never going to let him fight alone, he is sure of his gut feeling.

"I don't want to be seen." He mumbles low. Tightening his hold.

Arthit glares at Nova one last time. Before taking the back route. He is not angry at Kongpob. But they were in there with a locked door was too much. Arthit looked back and front before pushing Kongpob against the wall.

"Did she do something?" Arthit hissed. "Did she touch you?"

Kongpob nods.

"Damn it!" Arthit growled, dropping his head on Kong's chest. Holding Kong as if he weighed nothing.

"Only wiped my tears." Kongpob murmurs, cupping Arthit's face. Dropping their foreheads together. Their breaths feel warm and soft.

"Did you cry?" Arthit's concerned voice pierced through him.

He nods again. "She said, I should go with her."

Arthit's stance melted, as a flash of fear struck his face. Kongpob disliked this sight. He sobbed against Arthit's lips.

What are you hiding?

"Don't go." Arthit feels his energy being succumbed into the non-existent darkness. "Don't leave me. Not you too... I'll..."

Kongpob kissed him on the lips. Not caring of any consent for the moment. Arthit kissed back with such passion that Kongpob opened his mouth with a soft groan.

"I won't... I've promised you... I won't go anywhere." He smiled beautifully. Punching Arthit's shoulder. "Put me down, I'm heavy."

Arthit sighed, kissing his palm. "No, you are not."

"P'Arthit... She threatened me." Kongpob says. "But I told her that I've you."

Arthit gave him a warm smile. Lowering him down, kissing his forehead. "You'll forever have me, Baby."

"And I told her you won't dump me either."

Arthit crushes him in his embrace. Maybe he could try expressing himself to Kongpob as well. "Never in my life."

"And... And..." Kong stutters looking at his chest. "And..."

"Yes?" Arthit pinches his chin up.

"I told her... I don't mind P'Arthit controlling my life." Kong mumbles like a baby. "So... I want my P'Arthit back, who never listens to me, who knows what's good for me... Who wants to keep me only to himself... Who sometimes want to lock me."

I always want to lock you, Lily. Arthit feels like he's given the world. As he grins, kissing his nose. "You are asking for it, alright?"

Kongpob nods hastily. Raising his hands for Arthit to pick. He leans down swiping Kong into his arms back again.

"I want to come home with you."

"Whatever you want," Arthit assures. Cradling his village boy.

Kongpob panicked, leaning back he gaped at Arthit. Ready to spill more tears.

Arthit looked down at him. Smirking and winking. "Don't worry, I was going to take you anyway... P'Arthit will hug you all night, Pretty Lily."
