Dinner Meeting

Diane had finished up at the shop and was getting ready to leave.

''Well, I'm off I will see you on Friday.'' Diane said to Clara.

''Are you forgetting something?'' Asked Tanya who came out at that time.

''Nope I got all of my work done and it's time for me to be off.'' Diane said grabbing her coat and rolling her eyes.

''I need you to come in tomorrow. One of the girls called in.'' Tanya replied.

''You're just telling me this now?'' Asked the vixen raising an eyebrow.

''Yep, so get here early.'' Tanya replied.

''Why don't you come in and work early? You do run this store and it's your job to make sure everything is getting done to show that you care.'' Diane replied shrugging.

She made it outside and saw a limo in the front of the mall with a panther standing at the limo door and opened it for her.

''Welcome Ms.'' The panther said.

Diane got in and turned to see Jimmy sitting n one side wearing his suit.

''Ms. Foxington, welcome.'' He replied smiling shaking her hand.

''Thank you, Mr. Crystal.'' She smiles.

''You're welcome, so how was work?'' He asked.

''Not bad, I'm supposed to be off tomorrow ut my ass of a boss wants me to come in tomorrow morning.'' She rolls her eyes.

''If all goes well tomorrow might be you last day there.'' Jimmy said watching her and smiling.

There was something about her he liked, and he hoped to get to know her better.

They arrive at the restaurant and Jimmy got out and helped her out as they walk in, and the host looked at them and nodded.

''Follow me.'' The host said taking them to a table and Jimmy pulls out the chair for Diane as she sat across from her.

''Wine sir?'' Asked the waiter.

''Yes please, doesn't that sound Ms. Foxington?'' He asked winking at her.

''Yes.'' She smiled as the waiter poured the drinks and left.

''Alright, what is this job you want to offer me?'' She asked looking at him.

''Getting right to the point, I like that but first I would like to get to know you first. your backstory, what you like, and your hobbies.'' He said leaning forward.

She giggles. ''Well, I'm Diane Foxington, 27. I live in an apartment with my teenage brother Cody, my dad Art is in a special home, and my mom Amanda is a traveling nurse who currently is living with her boyfriend who she has cheated on my dad with, and she is paying for rent for the apartment me and Cody live in.'' Diane explained sitting back.

''Woah, that is a lot. So do you have any future plans?'' Asked Jimmy.

''I want a better job like going into politics or something meaningful, and one day I will have my own place.'' She said drinking.

''Well, I might be able to help with that. I'm a very rich and powerful guy with connections.'' He replied leaning in eyeing her body.

''Really? That would be interesting. But I'm more curious about the job you want me to do.'' She winks.

''First, what are some of your hobbies?'' He asked curious hoping that it would help him figure what to get her.

''Oh, I do enjoy playing games, shopping, going to movies, um going to visit my dad, hanging with my friends, and working on puzzles and I do go running and I work out at the gym.'' She said shrugging.

''I see well that's all fascinating.'' Jimmy said.

''So, what do you like to do?'' She asked leaning forward.

''I don't have a lot of time to do anything, mostly spending time with my daughter, I do like going to art museums, movies, plays, looking at sports cars and taking some of them out for a ride.'' He replied winking.

''What type of cars?'' She asked.

''All kinds.'' He said as the waiter came over.

''Ready to order?'' Asked the waiter.

''Yes, I'll have the steak, rare please.'' Jimmy replies.

''I'll have the spaghetti steak, medium rare.'' She replied handing the menu to the waiter as he nodded and left.

''So, about this job?'' Asked Diane.

''Fair enough. So, this would be more of a companionship, I would say nanny but that doesn't sound appropriate, so maybe a maid.'' He replied chuckling as Diane raised an eyebrow.

''Basically, I'm going to pay you to take care of my daughter Porsha. She is 18 and needs someone to take care of her when I'm not around.'' He said sitting back.

Diane was taken aback by his. ''So, a nanny to an 18-year-old? Not to sound rude or anything but isn't she a bit old for that?'' Asked the vixen.

''Yes, she is. But she is my only daughter, and she has no plans to move out and I'm usually busy and need someone to watch her and the place. Like doing her laundry, taking her to places that she wants to go dropping her off and picking her back up. Making sure she is safe and happy. You will be getting paid 5k at the end of every month.'' Jimmy replied.

''Sounds easy, but what is the catch?'' Asked Diane impressed with the pay, but it usually meant there was going to be some unpleasantness.

''What do you mean?'' Asked Jimmy curious but loved how she was cautious.

''That is a lot of money, so I'm guessing there must be something to her? Is she hard to control? Is she mean or demanding? Because a lot of money means I might not like the job, and you want me to keep working.'' She said.

Jimmy chuckled at that. If anyone else had questioned him like that he would have thought, they were mocking him or his daughter. But she genuinely seems to be asking the question. ''Nothing really, a bit over the top and dramatic but you seemed to know her size and what she would like and that's great, besides don't you want your own place?'' He asked looking at her.

''Yes, I do, but you said you're from Red Shore, and we are here in L.A., so the commute is going to be tricky.'' Diane pointed out.

''That is the other thing, if you were to accept the job you would be moving in with me and Porsha.'' He said as their food came.

''Oh? Would I ever be able go home?'' She asked not liking of never seeing her family again.

''From time to time yes and you'll be able to do whatever you want, most of the time and everything will be paid for.'' Jimmy replied.

''Why not? It would be fun, and I could use a getaway.'' Diane answered.

''Perfect! Here sign this saying you agree to the pay and the relocation, and it will take care of the bills and stuff you need I will get for you.'' He replied sliding the paper over to her.

''Pay bills?'' She asked.

''Yes, for the place you and your brother are staying at.'' Jimmy answered.

Diane was surprised by this and thought it would be a good chance to get out and if she could do something to help Porsha then why not.

''I do have one more question for you.'' She replied finishing her food.

''Ask away.'' He said as he was almost done with his food.

''Will you be there like in the evenings?'' She asked staring at him.

''Hehe smart question. I have a big company that in Red Shore a billion-dollar company, so I will be working most of the time, which is why I want someone to watch after Porsha. But when I can I'll be there. I usually come home very late, but I got a bunch of meetings coming up and it's going to take a lot of time. Why do you want my company in the evenings?'' He asked with a smirk leaning forward as their fingers touched slightly.

'No, I mean I don't care what you do I was just curious is all.'' She replied turning red and slightly felt their fingers touch.

''Hehe, So do you want the job?'' He askes.

''I do but I need to talk it over with my brother, how much time do I have?'' She asked.

''I'll give you until tomorrow evening to decide.'' He said.

''Alright you got a deal.'' She said as they enjoyed the rest of the evening.

An hour later they were laughing at a joke and finally they decided to leave, and Jimmy helped her up and put on her jacket as they walked to the door and got to the door, Diane almost tripped but Jimmy her grabbed her arm catching her.

''You, ok?'' He asked feeling a bit tipsy.

''Yeah, I'm fine thanks.'' She smiles and blushes as she realized he was still holding her arm.

They got in and he drove her to her home. '''Here is my number call me if with your answer.'' He said and kissed her cheek as she got out, but she blushes.

''Good night.'' She replied.

''Good night, Diane.'' He said as he left.

The vixen went inside and saw Cody playing videogames.

''Hey sis, your back late. I was about to call you; thought you were kidnapped by your ex.'' He said pausing the game.

''No, I got offered a great job 5,000 dollars at the end of every month and the bills at the apartment are all going to be paid.'' Diane said smirking and sitting on the couch crossing her legs.

''That's amazing! Are you sure it's not a scam?'' He asked.

''No, it's not this guy his name is Jimmy Crystal from Red Shore.'' She said.

''Wait Mr. Billionaire??!!'' Shouted Cody shouted.

''Yes, he wants me to take care of his daughter, I will be staying there in Red Shore, and I wanted to make sure you're ok with me gone. It's not a job that I can just come home?'' She asked.

''Sure, I'm not a baby besides means I can have my girls and guys come over. Can you ask him if he'll send money for food.'' Cody chuckles.

''Mom already does that.'' Diane pointed out.

''Yeah, but she never leaves enough I'm a growing fox.'' He said.

''Tell you what, when I get paid, I'll send some back home so you can spend it.'' Diane said.

''Why? It's your money.'' He said.

''Yes, it is, and I want you to have fun but not too much fun.'' Diane said worried about him.

''Whatever you want.'' He said getting back to playing videogames.

Diane went upstairs and called Jimmy.

''Hey Mr. Crystal, I accept the job.'' She said.

''Great! I will pick you up tomorrow evening, get the stuff you want brought along.'' He said.

''Even my car?'' She asked.

''Yes even that.'' He said.

''Alright, see you tomorrow.'' She replied.

''Call me Jimmy.'' He said sweetly drinking some bourbon.

''Alright see you tomorrow and good night, Jimmy.'' She smiles.

''Good night, Diane.'' He said as he hung up.

Enjoy!
