One day a 27-year-old vixen was in the kitchen making breakfast when she heard someone come from the bedroom.

''About time you got up sleepy head.'' She teased.

A fox who was only in his boxers came over and poured some orange juice. ''It's not that late sis, it's only 8:30.'' He groans.

''Yeah, I was up at 7.'' Diane said.

''Well, you need a life.'' Cody said.

Cody was 23 and living with his sister. Their dad was in a home while their mom was gone on a working trip as a traveling nurse who also left their dad and was living with her now boyfriend, but she paid for the apartment for them to live in.

''I do have a life...but I need a better job.'' Diane said.

''Why, working at a clothing shop isn't enough?'' Cody joked.

''No, I need a better job one that pays more, so I can get out of here.'' Diane sighed not liking to be depended on their mom who was cheating on their dad several times.

Being foxes, a jib was limited not too many wanted to hire foxes to work, so Cody was a bagger at a grocery store, and made it work.

''Mom is playing for the place you know.'' Cody pointed out.

''I know but still.'' Diane placed the breakfast in front of Cody and got herself some coffee.

''Well, you're right. I'm going to visit dad today you want to come with?'' Asked Cody.

''No, I have to get to work in an hour early for inventory.'' She said.

She sighed and went to her room to get ready as she put on a white blouse with black pants. She came out of the room and saw Cody playing videogames.

''Classic, what about work?'' Asked Diane looking at her brother as she put on her shoes.

''I swap shifts with a buddy of mine so I'm working this evening after visiting dad.'' Cody replied.

''Got it so you won't be home when I get back.'' She replied.

''Nope, I'll be gone, so you can bring over a guy just stay off my bed.'' Cody teased.

Diane laughed. ''Since when have I brought a guy back?''

Cody nodded. ''Not since Rocco.''

Diane nodded and grabbed the keys and left getting to work.

Meanwhile traveling to Los Angeles an older white wolf was on the phone. ''I understand, and make sure it's all set.'' He said into the phone and hung up.

Diane got to her job at the mall and went to get clocked in and went to the back with her coworkers.

''Hey Clara.'' She smiles.

''Hi Diane.'' The girl smiled.

Diane and Clara have been friends for 2 years and both wanted more out of life then what they got.

''So, how is Cody doing?'' Asked Clara who had the hots for Diane's brother.

''Same as usual. Playing videogames and working.'' Diane replied with a grin.

''He is lucky.'' Clara giggles.

''Yeah, he is, so when does the ''big bad boss'' come in?'' Asked Diane who had a clipboard joking about their boss as she wrote down some of the stuff they had left.

''Whenever she gets here. apparently, she was on a call with one of her friends last night during close.'' Clara replied.

''How do you know?'' Asked Diane.

''Well, I saw her on the phone before I left and I had to clean up all the stuff by myself she didn't even hear me when I said I was leaving, she was in her own world about fashion.'' Clara frowns.

''Yeah, what do you expected from a lazy heifer.'' Diane grins.

An hour later everything was ready, and Clara opened the gates, and a bunch of girls came in and started shopping.

''Ok, I will help the customers and work on a bit of inventory while you help them and stay at the checkout.'' Diane said.

''Sounds like a plan and when you want to switch with the inventory just let me know.'' Clara replied.

''Got it.'' Diane replied.

She was walking around helping customers and answering question, while Clara was doing returns and checking customers out.

It kept them busy usually there were usually 3 of them working at a time but their boss wasn't there, and the other girl had the day off. Diane rang up some customers and went to check the fitting rooms. a few hour in it died down a bit and there were two people checking out clothes.

Diane loved working but it was boring, and she wanted to do more then work with clothes. She wanted to do something meaningful. She was doing counts when Tanya came in, she was a 24-year-old heifer she was 4 years younger then Diane and 3 years older then Clara and both of them don't like Tanya.

''So, how is my store running?'' Asked Tanya coming over.

''Just fine, but we could use an extra set of hoofs.'' Clara replied.

''Give me 5 minutes.'' Tanya said.

Diane and Clara rolled their eyes as they got back to work.

Diane was putting the clothes back on the racks when the same well-dressed white wolf came in and started looking around. The vixen saw him and went over.

''Hello welcome to Fashion Style can I help you sir?'' She asked.

The wolf looked at her and was taken by how beautiful she looked... ''Ah yes, I am looking for a couple of outfits for my daughter back home.'' He replied.

''Last I knew she liked vintage.'' She said.

''How old is she?'' Asked Diane standing in front of him.

''She's 18.'' He answered.

''Do you have a picture of her?'' Asked Diane.

''Yes, here she is.'' He showed her on his phone.

''Ok, I think I knew what she would want.'' Diane replied as she went to a section and the wolf followed her.

''Here we got this t-shirt, to go with these pants giving her waist, I'm going to say she is a size 6 and here is a casual or going out outfit like a date.'' Diane showed him and Jimmy took them and watched her with a smile.

''You know clothes huh?'' He asked.

''Yes, well it is my job.'' She smiles looking away.

Jimmy was curious and thought she looked beautiful. ''Do you like this job?'' He asked.

''It's ok, I make money, so it works.'' She replied with a shrug.

''Well, how would you like to work for me?'' He asked.

She looked up. ''Like an office type job?'' She raised an eyebrow.

''No, more along the lines of a caretaker for me at my place.'' He answered looking down at her as she smiles at him.

''Well, I need to know the details before I jump on anything.'' She answered with a smile.

''Ok how about I pick you up tonight and take you out for supper and we can talk about it.'' He suggested.

''Sure, I'd like that.'' She replied feeling happy and excited.

She had to admit h was handsome.

''Great, I'll pick you up at 7 here. I'm Jimmy Crystal.'' He said holding out his hand.

''I'm Diane Foxington.'' She smiled as she took his hand, and he kisses her hand as she blushes.

''See you tonight, Diane.'' He replied as he left.

Diane smiles as she went back to work and watched him leave, wondering how this evening would turn out.
