Your POV:

You mashed the buttons of the strange remote, hoping that it would help you win. You were playing against a random stranger at an arcade, your favorite one to be exact. Anyways, he's really good at the game. But what he doesn't know is that you're about to use the power move. You let him think he was winning, then BAM! You used the power move. The character that he was using collapsed and in huge font, "WINNER - Y/N!" came onto the huge screen.

A few people that had been watching cheered as you shook the stranger's hand. "Good game." You told him and smiled. He smiled back and nodded. You both left your seats so that the other people could play the game. "YOU'RE REALLY GOOD!" The stranger said. "Thank you!" You thanked. You went to a different 1V1 game and played against a different person. After a few hours of playing against countless people, you played your last game at the arcade and went to the door.

Before you left, the guy you had played against ran up to you. "WAIT!" He called out. You turned to face him. "WE SHOULD PLAY A GAME TOGETHER AGAIN SOMETIME!" He suggested. "Sure. I come here everyday at 5 p.m. and I stay here until 9 p.m." You told him. "OKAY! I'LL BE HERE AT 6 P.M. TOMORROW!" The stranger said. "Okay! I'll see ya then." You assured and exited the arcade. 'I didn't even get his name, but he seems really nice.'

After that, you left the arcade and went home. During the rest of the night, you improved your gaming skills online and on other gaming systems to prepare for the 2P gaming tomorrow.

- Time Skip -

You entered the arcade at your normal time, and started playing 1V1 games while you waited for Player 2 to "join the game". You beat every person you played, proving your endless hours of practice and improvement. 'It's all in the focus and speed.' You thought to yourself as you beat yet another competitor. After a while of this, you noticed that it was now 6 p.m. You played against one more person and waited for the stranger from yesterday. While you waited, you played a few games that you've become quite fond of on your phone.

You waited for a few minutes and looked up from your phone when you heard, "HELLO!" You smiled and turned your phone off, smiling at the skeleton from yesterday. "Hello. I realized that you never got my name. My name's Y/N, what's yours?" You greeted and shook his red-gloved hand. The skeleton seemed overjoyed.

"NICE NAME! MY NAME IS PAPYRUS. AS YOU MIGHT'VE NOTICED, I'M A BIT NEW AROUND ARCADES AND GAMING. MONSTERS WERE BROUGHT TO THE SURFACE VERY RECENTLY... AND I NEVER REALLY PLAYED ANY GAMES IN THE UNDERGROUND." Papyrus explained. "Oh! Well, do you like gaming a lot or just a little?" You surveyed. Papyrus thought about it for a minute. "I LIKE GAMING A LOT. IT'S REALLY FUN TO DO ON YOUR FREE TIME AND IT TAKES YOUR STRESS OFF OF YOUR SHOULDERS FOR A WHILE." Papyrus admitted. You nodded, feeling similarly.

"Alright! Let's go play!" You said, excited. "You pick the first game." You added. Papyrus nodded and looked around the arcade. There was a 2P game called "Space Invaders" (real arcade game and I FRIGGIN LOVE IT) near you both, and Papyrus went to it. He sat on the chair that was provided and you sat next to him. You and Papyrus picked up the remote control (that was shaped like an intergalactic gun) and pressed play. You both shot at the incoming 'invaders'.You got into the game and shot the fast invaders while Papyrus shot the slower ones. You could almost taste victory and you even started to sweat a tiny bit. 'Weird. Another game that makes the player sweat.' After a short while of playing, the scores were put up on the screen.

You and Papyrus got the highest score out of everyone in the arcade! You and Papyrus put 'Y/N&Papyrus' as your PLAYER NAME. You both talked about the big score and high-fived at your victory. For the rest of the day, you both played a bunch of 2P games and talked about yourselves while playing. It was a really fun day, overall. You both went out for fries at a place called "Grillby's" soon after.
