The Wedding of 2018
Emmet Specter: "Goodmorning everybody on this wonderful March Second 2018. It is a beautiful Fridaymorning on this very special bank holiday! You might not see it but we're dressed for the occasion. Patrick Steelman is here with me today, looking all dapper in his bowtie tuxedo and high hat and Hannah Richmond looks mighty fine in her royal blue gala gown. This is Emmet Specter and we'll be your hosts today of the Royal wedding of 2018. We have a live-television screen right next to us and we already have an excellent view of the streets of London."
Hannah Richmond: "Thank you, Emmet dear. It is certainly crazy out there, there are actual people camping out with their tents and sleeping bags just to ensure they have a prime viewing location. But I am actually certain people will have gone home and showered, took a little meal before everything starts, to look all wonderful on this special day"
Patrick Steelman: "Hannah, are you actually talking about people in the streets?"
Hannah Richmond: "I am! People take this wedding very serious, they want to look as best as possible. Even the things we are wearing right now would not be appropriate for an eleven o'clock wedding and definitely not a royal wedding."
Emmet Specter: "No, you're probably right. This would be more something for a seven o'clock wedding."
Patrick Steelman: "Just wanted to point out that we actually see people arriving in the Cathedral. Oh and we went back to an interview, what is that woman wearing?"
Hannah Richmond: "Something not classy enough, that's for sure. Talking about wedding bands, there's one marching on the street right now. Look at those heads! Unbelievable! Would love that at my wedding! Oh we just had a tweet of someone asking us what we think Prince Harry would say as a toast at the wedding."
Emmet Specter: "I honestly feel it will be polite when it comes to the foreign guests but we know he'll have a wonderful speech for his wife at the wedding party. Prince Harry has always been called the party prince, so I think there will be a bit of humour in there. We both know the couple's very social and even excentric, I think it will be a total different toast than William and Kate's wedding."
Patrick Steelman: "Now that the television's back on St-Paul's and we see the bride's extended family arriving, let's talk about her for a minute because she doesn't have a flawless history."
Hannah Richmond: "I don't think anyone who would marry Prince Harry would have a flawless history, I cannot imagine the pressure on one's head. I actually really like her, people seem to like her. She seems very genuine, we know she's amazing with children, she's a nurse herself. I can't spot anything bad about her."
Patrick Steelman: "Eveline Delamane is a classic beauty. Intelligent as well, if you viewers or listeners would not know, she speaks four languages. As a Belgian, you learn Dutch, French, German AND English in high school. She's very honest as well, almost very see-through, isn't she?"
Emmet Specter: "If you're talking about the fact that she's very blunt, yes that's true. She might have to work on some of those skills. She's not the best actress and sometimes, unfortunately, in the royal family, you have to be."
Hannah Richmond: "I don't care what you guys have to say, I actually like her. She seems the kind of person you want to have around in your group of friends. The life of the party and it's very clear to see that the two of them are so much in love. I'm expecting a lot from this royal wedding."
Emmet Specter: "Okay, let us have a look at the screen because it seems that Prince Harry and Prince William have arrived at the scene. Their car is escorted by police officers towards St-Paul's and is now in the streets."
Patrick Steelman: "Prince Harry is wearing his Royals and Blues uniform, this is his military uniform. He still seems to be joking around with his brother. I think his older brother is trying to calm him down a little."
Emmet Specter: "We all know he's probably very nervous, who wouldn't be on your wedding day? Not to mention on his wedding day, billions of people are actually watching this live. The pressure is definitely on and we both know, the prince is not a big fan of huge media coverage."
Hannah Richmond: "They're still waving at the crowd, now passing the Horseguard Building. Just saluted the guards. Very in sync, don't you think?"
Patrick Steelman: "These men were trained to do so. The princes have been raised their entire lives to come up to this point."
Emmet Specter: "William and Harry have always been close but since their mother's dead, the two brothers have a very special bond."
Hannah Richmond: "Do you think they'll do something special for the Princess Of Wales today?"
Emmet Specter: "I think in particular for Harry, this will be a very difficult day because he's seeing the woman of his dreams walk up the aisle and he does not have his mother to share it with. There will probably be a sign of acknowledgement but I don't think we'll see it. It will be for the private party, we all know the princes aren't particular fond of sharing their feelings towards the press."
Hannah Richmond: "Well, who can blame them? The press was the reason their mother passed away in the first place, a terrible day, 1997 was it?"
Patrick Steelman: "Yes, I was actually in Oxford the day of the funeral, I don't think I'll ever forget it. Horrible, horrible day. I just remember Harry walking behind that coffin, trying to keep it together. I'm very glad that I'm here on his wedding day. I wish him nothing but the best, he deserves someone who loves him for everything he is. Do you think the reason why they didn't do it in Westminster is because that's the place the funeral of his mother took place?"
Emmet Specter: "I'm not sure, William had his wedding at the Abbey. Then again, William and Harry are very different characters. They both had a different way of grieving. I honestly feel that they did it in St-Paul's is because they wanted happy memories. It's also the place where the prince's father and mother got married. I think she loves him very much and they support one another."
Hannah Richmond: "Yes, she does, they both love another very much. Should be a very special ceremony, I feel like the vibe is different from William and Kate's wedding as well."
Patrick Steelman: "It is very different. Oh, here we see the princes arriving at the Cathedral, we have the first, clear look on Prince Harry's face. He hasn't shaved for his wedding, that's the first thing I'm noticing."
Hannah Richmond: "I'm quite certain she told him not to. I actually like Harry with the beard."
Emmet Specter: "He looks incredibly nervous."
Hannah Richmond: "He does, he does. Look at all those people waving and cheering for the Prince."
Patrick Steelman: "Harry is very loved by his people. That's clear."
Emmet Specter: "He is. It's one of the reasons why this couple is so popular. I think in many ways she resembles Diana a lot."
Hannah Richmond: "She does call up different feelings than you have with Kate. Kate is lovely and sophisticated, Kate was trained for all of this, she had the time of course. Evee never did. She kind of was thrown in there and apart from some steps on the grass, she has been doing wonderfully."
Emmet Specter: "Yes, not to mention this wedding was very unexpected. I remember waking up the day of the announcement, I was literally blown away. I did not expect that."
Hannah Richmond: "There were many rumours going on about an arranged marriage because of the prince his age but let's face it, if this were arranged, they probably would not have chosen a common girl."
Patrick Steelman: "Well, I'll let you know after the wedding, there's no way Harry will keep it dry if there isn't any love there. The princes are now walking up the aisle, we can see Prince Harry looking at the ceiling, taking a couple of deep breaths."
Hannah Richmond: "Very nervous, he looks very nervous."
Emmet Specter: "It should not be long before the bride arrives. Any particular guesses on wedding gowns or tiaras? Do you think she'll be wearing The Princess Of Wales her infamous Cambridge Lover's Knot?"
Patrick Steelman: "I very much doubt the Queen would let her wear it. Talking about the Queen, she just arrived with The Duke of Edinburgh."
Hannah Richmond: "Looking lovely in a light blue dress. I just thought about how nerve-wracking it must have been for Evee to first have met the Queen. Anyone has any particular knowledge of when that happened?"
Patrick Steelman: "Rumours say it was on Harry's birthday."
Hannah Richmond: "That's a nice occasion. As for the tiara's of the bride, I am hoping for the Strathmore Rose. We have not seen it for centuries and it would look lovely on her."
Emmet Specter: "Very true, Hannah, It was last seen on the Queen Mum. We see the Queen walking up front with the bishops, everybody is standing up."
Hannah Richmond: "The Duke of Edinburgh looks very happy."
Patrick Steelman: "I've heard he gets along with Miss Delamane very well. Speaking of which, we see her mother and brother standing up now. She looks a lot like her mother, doesn't she?"
Emmet Specter: "She does, have you seen her father?"
Patrick Steelman: "We'll be seeing him soon as he will walk his daughter to the aisle, he's a big chested man, isn't he? I think Harry must have been a little frightened when he saw him."
Emmet Specter: "I'm certain he was. Wait- I think I can hear the bells of the Cathedral and the cheers of the crowd. Let's take a look, do we see anything around Kensington Palace?"
Hannah Richmond: "Yes! Yes! We see the Bentley escorting the bride and her father out on the streets RIGHT NOW. She's obviously wearing a long veil and from what I can tell, no long sleeves. Which is a big, big surprise!"
Emmet Specter: "We can't see much of the dress now, we'll have to wait until they arrive at the Cathedral. Lots of waving going on, the crowd is going insane! Look at the police officers trying to hold everybody back at the curves!"
Patrick Steelman: "From what I can tell, she's looking absolutely gorgeous! A little nervous from what I can see in her eyes but that smile gives away millions of thoughts. Passing Buckingham Palace now, where the couple will be giving their first kiss on the balcony later on."
Hannah Richmond: "I can tell that the bouquet is light pink with lilies and roses. We'll try to give you some information about the wedding dress designer we have seen at the cathedral already. She's a young woman, barely started her business two years ago. Apparently, Evee got a lot of applications of designers- from Chanel to McQueen to even the Belgian brand, Natan."
Patrick Steelman: "I think it's very strange that she choose Lily Dujardin."
Hannah Richmond: "I don't think it's strange Patrick, it explains her personality once again. She wanted someone small and private, maybe give the woman a start of her career."
Patrick Steelman: "But to do it with your wedding gown- that takes a lot of trust."
Hannah Richmond: "It does, it does and we'll tell you how that turned out because right now, the doors the Bentley are opened by the guards. We see Chloe Jameson looking absolutely gorgeous in a simple cream coloured dress. Miss Jameson was Evee's colleague at St-Thomas hospital, they are very close friends."
Emmet Specter: "She is stepping out right now, passing the bouquet to Miss Jameson. That is one long veil!"
Patrick Steelman: "From the first look at the gown, I can tell that there's so much detail! It's not a very white gown either, ivory coloured and- Wait, we are now getting a look of Chloe straightening the gown behind the bride- who's currently waving at the crowd."
Hannah Richmond: "Oh my god, look at the back of that wedding gown! It's spectacular! It fits like a glove. She looks absolutely breathtaking. There's a wide shot from the sky, Chloe is picking up the train and her father just stepped behind her. Look at those two! The crows is going absolutely mental!"
Emmet Specter: "I cannot wait for Harry to see her. He's going to lose his mind. What a wonderful gown! What a beautiful bride! Lucky man, that's for sure."
Hannah Richmond: "Lucky woman if you tell me too. Two very goodlooking people!"
Patrick Steelman: "They're walking up the many stairs of St-Paul's Cathedral now. Can we already tell what Tiara she is wearing?"
Hannah Richmond: "We can't, I'm afraid we'll have to wait until her father undoes the veil."
Emmet Specter: "They're greeted by the Archbishop of Canterbury now, who will do the vows."
Hannah Richmond: "Just a few minutes before the bride walks down the aisle, everything looks ready. We're just waiting- Oh! There's a page boy running towards the bride, I bet that wasn't on the schedule."
Emmet Specter: "That is actually one of Evee's nephews. The youngest one of her brother, Alexander Delamane. The boy's name is Matteo Delamane."
Hannah Richmond: "Aw! Look at them hugging, it's adorable! See that's one of the reasons why I love her so much!"
Emmet Specter: "I bet the stylists are going insane right now!"
Hannah Richmond: "It's her wedding she can do whatever she wants. Everything looks set now, Maria, Prince George and Princess Charlotte's nanny has come to the rescue."
Patrick Steelman: "Talking about Prince George and Princess Charlotte, let's have a look at the page boys and flowergirls. They're standing in line right now behind the bride and her father. Chloe Jameson is walking first behind the bride with Princess Charlotte and Mia Tindall, behind them are the page boys Prince George and Evee's nephew Matteo- those two seem to have a lot of fun together."
Emmet Specter: "Look at them poking one another!"
Patrick Steelman: "Not even a royal wedding can hold back the children, it's adorable. Oh, the nanny just interfered once again. Anyways, and behind Prince George and Matteo Delamane are Miss Savannah Philips and Evee's actual godson Andreas Delamane, the oldest of her brother."
Hannah Richmond: "The cameras are on Harry right now! Who's body is turned towards the altar, he won't be looking at his bride when she walks down the aisle. He seems to be one jar of emotions already. We can see Prince William standing next to his brother, looking at the empty aisle. The music should be starting soon."
Emmet Specter: "Yes, I can hear the sounds of the music! If anybody is wondering, this is The Rose by Andre Rieu. He's a Dutch violist. Let's all have a moment of quiet now to watch the bride walk the aisle."
Patrick Steelman: "I think I see William whispering things in Harry's ear."
Hannah Richmond: "A zoom in on Prince Harry, a tear escaped his eye. His lip is quivering. Oh god, this is too emotional even for me. Where are the damn tissues?"
Patrick Steelman: "He looks very emotional. Trying to wipe away his tears now as Miss Delamane nearly approaches the High Altar. We can see Evee and her father giving the Belgian Royal Family a quick curtsy. A sign of high respect."
Emmet Specter: "There's a meaning behind all of this, she enters the Cathedral as a Belgian and will exit it as part of the British community. Harry and Evee will curtsy to the Queen after the ceremony is finished. There's definitely a strong statement behind all of this."
Hannah Richmond: "She just stepped up the one stair in front of the High Altar. Harry is raising his head towards the ceiling, trying to hold back his emotions. If this isn't love, I have no idea what is."
Emmet Specter: "He's looking at her for the very first time now. Oh wow. I don't know what to say, this one will cause headlines tomorrow. The man looks like he just won a million pounds."
Patrick Steelman: "They are definitely trying to hold it together, so different from Kate and William! This ladies and gentleman, is not a stiff wedding. This is everything we've been wanting since they got together!"
Hannah Richmond: "The prince is looking in awe at his bride, he can't keep his eyes off her. This must be a very special moment for him."
Patrick Steelman: "It's very special for both of them. I don't think they realize the cameras are on them anymore. I'm certain they only see one another right now. Gone are all the nerves, there's just love. Oh, I think I just saw him telling her how beautiful she looks!"
Hannah Richmond: "The father is now raising the veil and we can finally see the full front of the dress! And the tiara! And yes, it's the Strathmore Rose, look at that beauty shining! Look at those pearls! What a timeless dress!"
Emmet Specter: "Everybody look at the bridegroom's face right now. He's practically glowing as his eyes take in his fine-looking bride."
Patrick Steelman: "Both red eyed, they cannot touch one another before they are officially wed. We can tell how hard that is on both of them. The dean is speaking now."
Hannah Richmond: "He's asking the crowd if there's any man who can tell him why they shouldn't be together, he has to speak now or forever hold his peace."
Emmet Specter: "Thank God no one shouted right? Harry looks relieved."
Hannah Richmond: "Haha, he does. It would be terrible inconvenient since this is live broadcasted on more than 200 channels all over the world."
Emmet specter: "We should be moving on the vows quickly. The Archbishop is now taking in the dean's place. Let's listen for a moment."
"I require and charge you both, as ye will answer at the dreadful day of judgement when the secrets of all hearts shall be disclosed, that if either of you know any impediment, why ye may not be lawfully joined together in Matrimony, ye do now confess it. For be ye well assured, that so many as are coupled together otherwise than God's word doth allow are not joined together by God; neither is their Matrimony lawful."
Patrick Steelman: "Let's all remember that they cannot look at one another when they answer these questions."
"Henry Charles Albert David, wilt thou have this woman to thy wedded wife, to live together according to God's law in the holy estate of Matrimony? Wilt thou love her, comfort her, honour and keep her, in sickness and in health? And, forsaking all other, keep thee only unto her, so long as ye both shall live?"
"I will."
Hannah Richmond: "Loud and clear."
"Eveline Paula Leonie, wilt thou have this man to thy wedded husband, to live together according to God's law in the holy estate of Matrimony? Wilt thou love him, comfort him, honour and keep him, in sickness and in health? and, forsaking all other, keep thee only unto him, so long as ye both shall live?"
"I will."
Emmet Specter: "This is the part where her father hands her over. I can tell the man is looking a little emotional."
Hannah Richmond: "A little? The man is practically an inner mess, it's all very cute though. He's very handsome older man."
Patrick Steelman: "Did you just call the future Duchess of Clarence and Avondale her father handsome?"
Hannah Richmond: "I think I just did, Patrick."
Emmet Specter: "Her father just placed her hand upon the Archbishop's hand, who's now giving it to Harry. They can finally touch. Look at the smile she's giving him!"
Hannah Richmond: "Prince Harry is now giving his vows. His eyes are reddening once again, his voice is soft and smooth as he repeats the Archbishop. I'm getting another tissue."
Patrick Steelman: "They only have eyes for one another. It's lovely."
Emmet Specter: "Very romantic, it's time for her to say her vows now. Oh! I see a tear escaping her left eye. A make-up artist in the crowd is now losing her mind. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful! Makes me a little teary myself."
Hannah Richmond: "Tissue?"
Emmet Specter: "Yes, thank you Hannah."
Patrick Steelman: "There's no denying it any longer, these two love each other very deeply. The Archbishop is now blessing the ring, Harry will have to put it on Evee's finger now and after signing the registers in the back, they will be officially wedded and Duke and Duchess of Clarence and Avondale."
Hannah Richmond: "This is not what I expected at all. I thought I would be able to hold it together. I did at William and Kate's wedding."
Emmet Specter: "You cannot compare this wedding to theirs. It's very different. As I said before, Harry and William are two different characters. Harry has a harder time holding back his emotions, he's very open."
"Those whom God hath joined together let no man put asunder. Forasmuch as Henry and Eveline have consented together in holy wedlock, and have witnessed the same before God and this company, and thereto have given and pledged their troth either to other, and have declared the same by giving and receiving of a ring, and by joining of hands; I pronounce that they be man and wife together, In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen."
Patrick Steelman: "There will be a few hymns now and the couple will sit aside to listen to same prayers."
Emmet Specter: "They're stepping aside now. They look very happy."
Hannah Richmond: "They do, look! He's already joking in her ear. Did he just tell her, 'Hi wifey?'. Am I mistaken, did I see this wrong?"
Patrick Steelman: "Haha, no you did not. Look at her reaction, she's trying not to laugh. They're having a couple of jokes. See, that's why I love this couple so much. They seem to have a blast together."
Hannah Richmond: "I think the wedding party tonight will be a lot of fun. Maybe we should try to get inside, I heard it's at Kensington Palace?"
Emmet Specter: "Yes it is at Kensington but there's a lot of security and I wouldn't say that so openly on television, might get you arrested."
Hannah Richmond: "I'm kidding! I'm kidding! But damn, what I would do to be a friend in their inner circle."
Patrick Steelman: "Talking about friends and family, anyone wants to make bets on royal babies?"
Emmet Specter: "Oh I honestly think it's on right now, even in their engagement interview they didn't hide away the fact of wanting to have children. We know Harry's been wanting them for a very long time now so it should not take long."
Hannah Richmond: "Early 2019 and there's a royal baby headline all over the press."
Patrick Steelman: "Can you imagine a ginger baby?"
Hannah Richmond: "Oh I've been dreaming of one, Patrick! Have you seen the footage of the documentary? Where they show Harry and Evee as children? They were both a handful from what I could tell."
Emmet Specter: "They were a handful! If there's a royal baby in the future, and believe me, there will be, it will be one badass kid."
Hannah Richmond: "I'm waiting and ready for it. I think Britain's been wanting Harry to become a father for a very long time and nothing is blocking his road now."
Patrick Steelman: "Let's just try to not put so much pressure on the couple for now. I think they have plenty."
Hannah Richmond: "Oh come on, everyone's just very happy for them!"
Emmet Specter: "We just want the juicy stuff!"
Hannah Richmond: "Juicy, happy stuff."
Patrick Steelman: "Alright, alright, a ginger baby would be adorable."
Hannah Richmond: "Them being parents would be adorable."
Emmet Specter: "We're kind of getting off the subject of the royal wedding, oops. Let's get back to it, we can see the couple curtsying to Her Majesty right now. The family looks very happy for them."
Patrick Steelman: "It must be very special for all of them. I think Her Majesty is very content for her grandson."
Hannah Richmond: "I think she's happy he found someone who'll keep his two feet on the ground. He needs a strong character and I think Evee's perfect for him."
Emmet Specter: "Let's just see what the upcoming months will bring. We know the two will leave for their honeymoon in a little over two weeks to a secret location. I'm guessing somewhere warm and beachy."
Patrick Steelman: "Sounds a lot like them! Just enjoying one another! There's one thing we know for certain and that is that every person watching this wedding is now absolutely convinced of their love for one another."
Hannah Richmond: "It was a beautiful, touching ceremony."
Emmet specter: "The people who wrote it was an arranged marriage are now knocking their own heads in."
Hannah Richmond: "The new power couple for me!"
Patrick Steelman: "Wasn't that Beyonce and Jay Z for you?"
Hannah Richmond: "Move over Beyonce and Jay Z and make some room for the Duke and Duchess of Clarence and Avondale!"
