Chapter One Hundred - Part Six
Evee threw her head back in laughter when she noticed Mathias shaking his skinny little body alongside Jared. Melanie, Jared's girlfriend clapped her hands, wooing at the both of them. Throughout the evening she seemed to have calmed down a little and for that the blonde Duchess was glad. Drinks were flowing, the music was blasting, people were having fun. Anna had taken off the tiara, since Evee thought it would be the safest. She didn't want it harmed, Harry agreed with her.
The sentimental part of the wedding had passed and this was all about friends and family. Most of Harry's older immediate family had left, which meant that they could even let more loose. She noticed her usual stiff bodyguard, Bobby dancing along with his girlfriend even though he had not drank a sip of alcohol.
Evee's lips nipped at the glass of champagne, holding back a grin when she noticed Harry and his brother awkwardly moving their feet on the dance floor. Her husband's tie had come loose and he was actually wearing it around his head. His ears nearly as red as his cheeks, a massive grin upon his face as he danced to Low by Flo Rida. William seemed to have a little more trouble getting as close to the floor as Harry. His moves weren't as good as Harry's.
Shawty had them apple bottom jeans (jeans)
Boots with the fur (with the fur)
The whole club was looking at her
She hit the floor (she hit the floor)
Evee laughed when Emilia managed to grab her hand, dragging her towards the dancefloor. She tried to dance along as much as the dress would let her, laughing at Thomas who was already doing the worm on the floor. She noticed Harry coming behind her, wrapping his arms around her neck.
Next thing you know
Shawty got low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low
Them baggy sweat pants
And the Reebok's with the straps (with the straps)
She turned around and gave that big booty a smack (hey)
She hit the floor (she hit the floor)
Next thing you know
Shawty got low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low
His hand gracefully slit down the length of her arm as she swayed her hips along with his. The whole room was lit, people were dancing and sweating and laughing. It was the most perfect evening she could think of. She laughed when the music stopped and Skippy drunkenly grabbed the microphone once again. Evee made eye contact with Lara, Skippy's wife who just shrugged at her husband's behavior. "Harry, my man. My main man." Thomas spoke, placing his hand over his heart with a big breath.
"He's not going to cry, is he?" Evee mumbled, a little buzzed herself.
"I don't know but I need my camera." Harry slurred, patting his suit in search for his cellphone.
"Evee, you hot hot hot- Thing." Skippy spoke a little too loudly. The blonde thanked her lucky stars that her parents, aunts and uncles were already off to bed. "Haz, you so lucky."
"Got it!" Harry spoke, throwing his cellphone in the air and filming his stumbling Eton friend.
"We, us, we friends." Skippy pointed at everyone in the room, stopping when he pointed at his wife to wink at her. "We know it's late and you guys want to go off and you know... Hankey pankey." Thomas snorted in the microphone, laughing at his own joke. "But we have one final surprise for you. Especially for you, Evee. Because I remember the very first time I met you."
"Oh god, if this is what I think it is." Evee stared at Harry's friend with an amazed expression.
"Man, I need a second phone, second phone. Grab your cellphone, sweety." Harry slurred in her ear, poking her butt.
"Does this dress look like it comes with pockets?" She raised her eyebrows at him, trying to hold back laughter when his blue eyes actually searched the skirt of the dress. "It does not, ask someone else."
"Will, grab your phone, film this." Harry eagerly slapped his brother's arm.
"Sorry Harry, but unfortunately, I owe Skippy and now I will have to regret it for the rest of my life." William mumbled, stepping forward on the dancefloor.
Evee's eyes widened in realization when all their friends, including Harry's brother moved forward, standing next to one another. "Let's do thiiiiiiss!" Skippy shouted, "Woo!" He did a mic drop, making the blonde Duchess jump a little at the sound of the microphone hitting the floor. She watched Thomas jump off the stage, standing next to his wife.
Evee's mouth widened when the familiar sounds of Beyonce's Check up On It came through the stereo. The whole group started thrusting their hips in the air as Evee held her stomach in laughter, nearly doubling over on the floor. She heard Harry scream at Guy, "Seeeexy" from beside her and shook her head. The group threw their hands in the air and moved on towards the Thriller moves, just like she had always done with Mathias.
Her eyes finally rested upon William's non impressed face and stiff moves and she actually thought she was going to die from laughter. "Zoom in on William!" She ushered to Harry. "Alexander's filming this as well."
"What do you think I've been doing the whole damn time?" Harry grinned at his wife.
"God, I love our friends." Evee laughed, pointing at Chloe twerking in her dress.
If you got it, flaunt it, boy I know you want it
While I turn around you watch me check up on it
Oh you watching me shake it, I see it in ya face
The group did the extreme nipple rubbing move, winking at the bride and bridegroom in front of the room. "This is the best day ever." Evee mumbled, holding back laughter when Mathias winked at Jared who looked a little frightened but still danced along.
Everyone turned towards their closest partner and brushed their shoulder on the music. Skippy accidently flicking Lara's ear in the process. He tried to do the handshake but failed to do so because his limps were practically numb. "I think Skip's going to feel it tomorrow." Harry grinned, still holding up his cellphone to film it.
"Oh, I'm certain he is. If he's not, Lara's going to make him feel it." Evee grinned, watching Lara rolling her eyes but still holding back a grin at her husband.
Oh boy you looking like you like what you see
Won't you come over and check up on it, I'm gon' let you work up on it
Ladies let em check up on it, watch it while he check up on it
Dip it, pop it, twerk it, stop it, check on me tonight
Now the whole group were acting like they were in a glass house, pushing their hands against the imaginary wall, confused expressions on everyone's faces. Chloe tried to keep her face serious but when she saw the Duke of Cambridge trying to dance, she couldn't help but laugh.
When the song finally ended with everybody did the drunk man move (although, they didn't have to put a lot of effort in that one), Evee clapped her hands in applause alongside Harry. "THAT WAS THE BEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE." She shouted at everybody.
"And I've got it all on camera!" Harry grinned, stepping in the group to hug his friends.
"You finally got me to do your silly dance." Jared grinned, throwing his arm around her neck and placing a sloppy kiss upon her cheek.
"I always knew you were going to fall for it someday." Evee grinned, placing her hand upon his.
"You got me." He drunkenly grinned. "Tonight's been amazing. This day has been amazing."
"I know." Eveline grinned, "You're such a good boy." She cooed him patting his cheek just like she used to do when they were in the pub.
"I'm really glad we got to do this again. I've missed this." Jared scrunched up his nose.
"We're getting a little bit too old to do that now though." Evee grinned at her friend, watching how Harry smiled at her from afar.
"Can I tell you a secret?" Jared whispered drunkenly in the blonde's ear. "Do you like Melanie?"
"Is that your secret?" Evee grinned.
"No, no but do you like her?"
"Yeah, she seems nice, Jared. Why?"
"I've been thinking about, you know, popping the question." He harshly whispered in her ear.
"Really?" Evee's ears peaked, holding back a smile. "Look at you, growing up. I think that's amazing, J. She's a sweetheart."
"You're coming to my wedding, right?" He slurred, leaning a little too heavily on her shoulder still.
Evee tried to steady him, "Of course. Wouldn't miss it in the world. You first got to make sure she says yes, though."
"She will, she will and you know why?" He pointed at her.
"Because you're such a good, handsome boy?" She teased him again.
"No, because I'm friends with the Duchess of Clarence and Avondale." He giggled, throwing his hand in front of his mouth.
"If she only marries you for that reason, I'm not coming to the wedding." Evee rolled her eyes. "I know she loves you, I doubt she'll marry you because of me."
"It'll be nice you know, me, you , Fred. We can dance like old times." Jared slurred in her ear. "Missed you guys so much. Why don't we hang out anymore? So sad he's not here." He sighed, closing his eyes and resting his hand in the crook of the blonde's neck.
"Jared?" Evee poked his face. "J?"
"Hey, everything alright?" Harry lifted his eyebrows at his wife's friend snoring upon her chest.
"He's out. We should help him to his room. Where's Melanie?" Evee's eyes searched the room, trying to hold on to her friend's limp body.
"I'll take him." Harry spoke, still a little buzzed himself but at least not as much as his wife's old friend. "You go get his girlfriend.
Evee nodded her head. Jared had taken care of her so many times before she honestly didn't feel annoyed at him whatsoever, she was glad that the tables were turned for once. It didn't take her long to actually find Jared's girlfriend, since she was talking to Chloe. Harry, Evee and Melanie had managed to carry Jared towards their room at Kensington. "Thank you for doing this." Melanie smiled, looking back at Jared's limp body on the bed. He was passed out cold.
"That's alright." Evee smiled, "Take care of him, will you? He means a great deal to me." She nodded her head seriously.
"Yes, of course. Thank you for the party and inviting me. I had a lot of fun." The brunette smiled. "I should probably, you know." She pointed with her thumb towards her boyfriend.
"Okay." Evee nodded her head. "I'll see you again, hopefully?"
"Of course. Goodnight, Your Royal Highnesses."
"Goodnight." Harry and her smiled, turning around towards the empty corridor, ignoring the music still blasting in the background. The door closed behind them as they stood there in the dark.
"You see, I don't think I'll ever get used to people say-" Evee was caught off guard by her husband crashing his lips against her. Their lips clashed eagerly, the sweetness of the day had been replaced by eager, hard excitement. She felt his hands roaming her backside, pushing her against the wall of the corridor.
Her hand waved through his hair, breathing in his familiar cologne. When she felt his tongue begging for entrance against her bottom lip, she willingly opened her mouth. Their tongues danced together as the moonlight hit the corridor windows, merely making them both shadows of the night.
Evee breathed heavily against his chest, "The guests-"
"Fuck them. We've been attending for everybody today, tonight is about us." He harshly whispered, placing his lips against her jawbone in eager pecks. The scrub of his beard scrapped her skin in almost a demanding way.
"God, I love it when you're like this." Evee quickly answered, "Let's go." She quickly grabbed the palm of his hand, dragging him behind her hurriedly.
"Where?" He whispered.
"Nottingham." Her legs carried her through the long corridors as quickly as possible, he laughed at her hurried pace. When they rapidly descended down the stairs, ignoring the caterers staring at them with widened eyes. The moonlight and the March, London air welcomed them outside. Their feet crackled upon the pavements, hurriedly footsteps and friend's laughter in the background being the only noises.
She felt him tug her arm back, yanking her around when they nearly made it towards Nottingham Cottage. He eagerly placed his lips against hers once again, his tongue roaming her already swollen mouth. "Sweety-" Before she knew it, he had placed one arm under her knees and the other under her shoulders, swooping her up in his arms. He kicked the door open with one foot, lights immediately beaming up the hallway. She could hear Bennett's bark in the background.
Ignoring the dog, she responded Harry by throwing her arms around his neck, placing eager kisses underneath his right ear. His feet finally made their way towards the bedroom, "Aw!"
"Oops, sorry." He cheekily grinned, a slight twinkle in his eyes when her head softly bumped into the doorway. "I need to carry you over the threshold."
"'S alright, you can kiss it better." She mumbled, placing her lips against his once again. He finally placed her feet upon the ground, straightening her out.
"You looked so pretty today. You still do." He whispered, staring into her green orbs. His fingers gently tracing her jawline.
She smiled, enjoying the romantic moment, "Today's been amazing."
"It's not over yet." He whispered, carefully pecking her shoulders.
"No- No, it's not." She answered, throwing her head back to give him more access. She felt him turn her around, his hands gazing over her neck and shoulders to find the zip of the wedding dress. She helped him undo it, finally stepping out of the magnificent robe. He stared at her for a few seconds, bathing in the moonlight, taking in every inch of her body. She was beautiful. Her skin like silk on glass.
When his lips finally contacted hers again, he didn't let go. He drove his tongue inside her, setting off a shattering moan that was music to his ears. She was an instrument that played at every single one of his touches. So finely tuned, like angels singing.
It was sweet in the beginning, slow and loving as she carefully slit of his tuxedo. Undressing each other until they held nothing but skin. "I love you so much." She mumbled against his chest, placing open kisses. She felt him push her on the bed, crawling right in between her legs.
His hands came alive, teasing, twirling. His mouth felt like fire upon her skin like she was as cold as the night. Skin to skin, bone to bone. His lips finally met hers once again as she pulled his body close to hers, rubbing her hands through his hair. His hands were slowly sinking down, finally finding the core of her body. "Make love to me." She whispered. He slowly settled himself in between her thighs, and when he finally, leisurely, pushed forward he could hear her moan in his ear.
His hands traced her thighs, following the hot smooth skin of her figure. The sudden delicious sense that Evee was his wife, for now, for entirely, completely his, filled him with much force. His thrusts gained a speedy tempo as her hands roamed his back, covering every hardened muscle on there. Her nails carving into his skin as her mouth opened slightly, throwing her head back into the soft pillow.
Sweat drippled like melted ice upon their hasting bodies as their heartbeats accelerated.
Breaths quickened, moans loudened, toes curled, mouths widened.
Until two hearts finally became one.
