Sweet Evil

Embrace the Forbidden

What if there were teens whose lives literally depended on being bad influences?

This is the reality for sons and daughters of fallen angels.
Tenderhearted Southern girl Anna Whitt was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She's aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but it isn't until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage and her willpower is put to the test. He's the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna.

Forced to face her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?

★★★★★★★★★

Anna is a complete goody-two-shoes.

Reminding the teachers about homeworks, avoiding drugs, avoiding boys, etc.

You will mostly hate her at the beginning but once the male lead(who is Edward Part 2) comes, the story gets much more interesting. The book's story is unlike anything else I had ever read before. Yes, there were a lot of cliches but what book doesn't have cliches? But the story in itself was a bit realistic. As realistic as a world with Angels and Demons can be anyway.

You can't just put the entire world in danger because you love someone, however harsh it is, it is the reality and they really did show that. It comes under the category of Forbidden Romance.

There are a lot of characters that will surprise you...it reminded me a  little of Fruit Basket to be honest.
