This is not an official second part of the story like the first, more of a narrower exit down like a huge waterfall or something like that.

I do love stories with an ending that is never really the ending. So I've left the end of the end open.

Because some things are better left unsolved ;)))

Pete finished college with Patrick and Dallon and continued on (unexpectedly) to be a spokesman for different schools. He figured out telling the audience about Brendon really tugs at the heart strings, especially when he gives the speech about driving safe and watching out for signs of suicide. All the kids love his jokes and always look forward to seeing him annually.

Patrick went on to fulfill Brendon's dream of studying animal behaviors after graduating with Pete and Dallon. He got a job at a zoo, and named the monkeys after everyone. He even got the habitat dedicated to Brendon, after telling coworkers of his plan and the story behind it, they all gladly supported him with no questions asked.

Ryan became a doctor just like he wanted to. He mainly works in the ER department, and is the one to notify when an injured driver is called in. He has yet to lose someone due to a car crash. Dallon, Pete, and Patrick were all impressed when they ran into him while getting fries at 2am during their last year of college.

Dallon graduated with everyone and then packed up and left without a trace. He does send out postcards every once in awhile though; London, Spain, the Bahamas, Chile, Brazil, Australia, etc.

Some say he's guiding tours through the Amazon jungle, others claim they saw him packing up to climb Mount Everest, one even said he's teaching scuba diving lessons out in Hawaii.

You'd say they were insane, because who throws themselves away for no place to stay and everything to do? Definitely not the Dallon everyone knew.

And then you'd claim that it's not really him. But the people that say they've seen him all tell the same answer to the unanimous question they all think to ask him; 'why did you leave?' They'd all repeat the exact words he said: "he'd have wanted to go."

But he is out there, living a life adventurous enough for two.
