Does He Hear?

Sometimes I ask myself

Does God hear me when I pray?

Does He listen to me when I pray?

Or is all I'm saying just nonsense to Him?

I know I'm not supposed to doubt

But these thoughts keep running through my mind

It's like I'm not getting any answers

And I feel so confused

Why is everything going the way?

Why can't anything ever go right?

It's like my world is crashing down

And I have no one to save me

But God is faithful

Even when I'm not

Even through all my doubt and disbelief

He shows me that He's listening

He makes me become more aware of His presence

And gives me assurance that He hears and answers prayer
