Your soul that carries deep meaning and great beauty
hides like a child holding something
in.
Places you remember long ago when you were surrounded
in a safe haven far from
the dark

And you walked along the beach looking for shells yet
I did not know you then and I would greatly like to see
The moment you first beheld the waves reflecting the light
That opened up your curiosity for what
shines
In a world that was new to
your eyes

The days have been long and taken you far away from that secret
This darkness has even seeped into you from the broken world:
Cannot see clearly what you once used to understand.

Is there a way to regain the light you felt and if so how?
My eyes survey you in the moments when you find quiet in your heart
Beats of the drum resonate each passing moment inside
To warn us we have very little time to find out where we are meant to be
Near the water I stand waiting and hoping as I silently watch after you.
