This depth that opens up every time I think of all I hope to be, yet it is like a constant reminder that I have so much to work on.

It is the reason I began this journey of self discovery
and the driving force that allows me to continue to find places that are hidden inside of me

In that place is where my heart told me I care about you and where I found the desire to be better and to reach out.

If in the dark and cold of this winter night; I can still reach the fire's light;

I know somehow when I see your eyes; I will be alright and this turning in my soul will find a way to unwind

The very bottom of my heart is calling like an echo across this expanse and telling me to look deeper into the reason that you attract me

I see something hidden; just in the fog of the unknown and I try to find the answer I've been looking for so long

At the center of our beings we know what we believe
and we protect our hidden selves and the love we buried deep

But you know I am ready to find the path to freedom
