"Garroth, it's just one little breakup." Laurance states.  He tries to soothe his friend from his broken heart, but unfortunately fails.  "How am I supposed to just play it as 'one little breakup'? Aphmau and I were dating for five years until Aaron came into the picture and swooped Aphmau off her feet! Lauance, this makes me look like a complete idiot!" Garroth rants.

Laurance immediately feels a wave of sympathy for his friend, but soon shakes it off.  "Garroth... It's been almost a month now.. You have to get over it!" Laurance exclaims.  Garroth smashes his fist down on the dining room table, "I CANNOT JUST SIMPLY GET OVER IT, LAURANCE! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! I LOVE HER." Garroth yells.  Laurance grows silent, "The day she broke up with me, I was going to tell her I loved her..." Garroth mumbles.

Silence washes over the two males as Garroth waits for an answer.  He chuckles slyly and shakes his head, "That's what I thought." Garroth murmurs.  He takes his hands off the wooden table, then walks off, leaving Laurance to his lonesome.  The apartment they lived in seemed to be an empty hole that didn't hold emotion.  "You learned to love, then she broke your heart. I was the one who taught you to love... But then she ruined that progress in three simple words... 'I can't anymore'." Laurance mumbles to himself, letting his thoughts fly from his head.

"She did take the progress away." Garroth's voice startles Laurance.  Laurance's head jerks up and he seems to jump five feet into the air, even know it was only a couple inches, "Garroth! Y-You startled me." Laurance states.  Garroth chuckles, "Sorry." He apologized.  Laurance shrugs, then notices the stressed bags under Garroth's eyes.

"...Garroth.." Laurance takes a few steps towards his friend, even know their a few feet away from each other.  Truth be told, their apartment was like a modernized miniature house.  "What?" Garroth questions as Laurance gets closer.  "Why do you push people away?" Laurance asks.

Garroth looks away, crossing his arms, "I don't do that." Garroth states.  "Yes you do, Garroth... Yes you do." Laurance replies, repeating himself.  The blonde sighs, knowing he'll have to respond sooner or later, "It's easier to cope that way." Garroth informs.  "But... That'll only hurt you more... Let me help you." Laurance pleads.

Garroth feels anger taking over him.  He snaps his head in Laurance's direction, "I don't need your help! I can do this on my own." Garroth angrily pushes past Laurance and leaves the apartment with fury.  "Somebody's salty..." The brunette casanova mumbles.  He decides to leave Garroth alone, then makes an escape to his room.

Once I leave the condo building, I stuff my hands into my pockets.  "Why can't he just leave me alone for once? Why does he have to be.. So... So nice?!" I ask myself.  I look to my right as I walk down the sidewalk.

My eyes are drawn to the windows of a cafe.   I see Aphmau there.   The last person I'd like to see right now.   She's laughing cheerfully with Aaron.  The Mr. Steal-Yo-Gurl.  My blood boils as rage runs up my spine.

Emotions cloud my thoughts and rage takes over my actions.  I grit my teeth and clench my fists.  I swing my fists and feel my knuckles hitting a hard material.  I look at what I'm swinging at.  It's a fire hydrant.  I took the top clean off. "Put your hands up!" A voice shouts from behind me.  I feel my wrist being taken and a cold metal being wrapped around them, "You're under arrest for misuse of public property!" The officer says.

Just my luck.
