Seven years later

"So you never told me why you didn't like using your last name." Hunter smiled, combing through my hair with his fingers.

"At the time I was feeling the whole one name Rhianna thing." I replied laughing at the past.

"So does that mean that if I marry you, you won't use my last name?" He smirked down at me.

"What do you mean?" I asked, confused at the random change of subject.

Hunter got up from his cuddle position and took a small box out of his back pocket. He got down on one knee and pulled out a ring, taking pride in my shocked expression.

"Kira West, will you marry me?" He proposed bashfully.

"Do paper airplanes fly?" I responded, a grin spreading across my face.

"I'll take that as a yes." He said, slipping the diamond onto my finger.

"You were supposed to." I laughed, smashing my lips into his. His kiss was tender if not careful until I encouraged him with my tongue to make it much more passionate. This was the man I loved and would love for the rest of my life for as long as we both shall live.

And for a moment I knew why people would die for their partners, true love.
