Sarah's new home

The camp turned into chaos, people talking, gossiping, confused of what had happened. People scared that this was a bad omen, that this she was sent to kill them all. How could she have three dads? Why didn't the gods know? What? Why? How? When? Everyone was confused, scared. But no one was more scared than Sarah herself. For the past two weeks she wanted nothing more than to be claimed, and now she was, she wanted nothing less.

She didn't know what to do, what to feel. So she began to cry, the world suddenly felt very small, very quiet, which is the complete opposite of it was at this moment. She could taste her salty tears at the corner of her mouth. She looked down at her feet and could see the grass slowly wilt away, turning a dark brown colour. She didn't know what to do so she just stood there in shame. Her sadness stopped the grass's life around her.

Chiron stomped down his heavy hoof, creating an echo across the bay. "Quite! Children! Off to your cabins! I do not want to see a soul out of bed. I want to see cabin leaders in the Big House immediately." Everyone ran off to there distinctive cabins not wanting to know what would happen if they were caught out of bed.

Chiron bent down to Sarah's eye level, "Come with me, everything will be all right."

And she believed him.

"How is this possible?" Nico quietly asked to the table

"I'm still trying to work that out. I have received no response from Olympus. The do not want to answer any of my questions." Chiron answered distastefully. "So until they do, we only have theories."

"But how is it physically possible for her to have three dads?" Questioned Annabeth.

"Says the one that came out of their mums head." Butted Travis. Annabeth glared at him until his laugh turned to an awkward stop.

"Again I am unsure Travis." Chiron continued "Until I hear anything we have no idea how this happened. Sarah," he motioned towards her, "Do you remember anything from your childhood?"

"No, just the orphanage." she sadly looked at her feet, remembering the horrific place that was the orphanage. Or the things that she got blamed for the water, the electricity, what she got whipped with the owners belt for at least could know be explained.

"Chiron just a quick question. Where is she going to sleep and eat? She has three different godly parents."

"Thank you Annabeth, I hadn't thought of that issue yet. Maybe with the frequent departures from Jason and Nico to Camp Jupiter and the Underworld respectively, it may be best that Sarah would stay in the Poseidon cabin. And I do believe that Poseidon is one of the more humble gods, and would be more lenient on her staying in that cabin." Chiron decided

Percy looked at Annabeth awkwardly then back at the meeting, "Ok Chiron, she'll bunk with me."

"So that concludes our meeting this evening," Chiron said clasping his hands together, "Make sure your cabin is settled and ready for bed.

"Annabeth, it's going to be so awkward."

"Percy, just think of it as practice for your other little sister that's on her way."

"I guess."

"She is your sister, remember" She said poking her chest with her finger, "So treat her like she is. Remember how scared you were on your first night, being the odd one out, the weirdo. She is feeling exactly the same."

Percy stopped and remembered his first night in cabin 3, how scared and alone he felt. He was determined that Sarah wouldn't feel the same way.

"Your right, I'm sorry. She is my sister after all"

The two turned to face Chiron and Sarah. Chiron was discussing timetable arrangements for her, "Anyway Sarah, you should be off to bed. Your Hermes cabin members have kindly transferred your things into your new cabin." He smiled sympathetically, "You best be off," Sarah nodded and turned towards Percy and Annabeth.

Percy smiled to her "Come on kid,"

They walked through the silent camp to Cabin 3, Sarah walked up to the light blue wooden cabin that was Cabin 3. She could see small coral and plants on the window sill, with small golden dolphins sitting next to them.

"Tyson, likes to decorate whenever he visits."

"Tyson? Your half-brother cyclops Tyson?"

"That's the one." Percy smiled warmly. "Hey Annabeth wants to talk to you." Sarah put her head down bitterly. "Don't worry," Percy said putting his hand on her shoulder. "I think she wants to apologise, which is something she rarely does so do saviour the moment."

Sarah bitterly walked over to Annabeth who was waiting a couple of metres away from Cabin 3's porch.

"Hey look Sarah, I'm really sorry for what happened out on the lake. I didn't mean to hurt you."

"It's ok," Sarah said solemnly, "I have a home now." She said gesturing to Cabin 3

"Well that's good, you best be off. Goodnight." She said, "Good night Seaweed Brain." She said waving to Percy. He waved back

Percy stood on the porch triumphantly, he smiled his mischievous smirk

"Come on Sarah, see your new home."
