So it all went downhill when I tried to catch the bus. Literally.

Okay, maybe I should start at the beginning and then this will start making sense.

Hi, my name is Sarah Knight, I am 16 years old. I live in Sydney, Australia. I lived in an orphanage until I was 6 before I ran away. God, I hated that place, it looked bad, hated everyone, it even smelt bad. Don't know who my parents are, probably some druggos. 

Now being homeless is a skill, a fine art you might call it. If you look the part of a normal teenager then no one will suspect you live in a cozy little box in an alleyway. 

Clothes are easy to steal, all you need is a magnet to take off the security tag and you're all good to go. Next step, makeup. It is literally the easiest thing to steal. It is small and straight into my pocket. That colour you were looking for in that lipstick that really wanted? I probably took it. Makeup makes anyone look presentable.

Now back to the bus.

I was catching a bus to my job, yes at McDonald's. Easy job, easy money. It pays for my food and no skill is required. Perfect for me. And you don't need your parent's permission unlike some jobs when you're a minor. 

Which is always good cause I ain't got any. 

Oh, you're probably wondering what I look like, or maybe not. Whatever, I'm going to tell you anyway. I'm tall, blonde, green eyes, pale skin, and my eyebrows are always on fleek. Always. 

So I was waiting at my bus stop. 12 o'clock on the dot. 2 minutes until my bus arrives and I look across to the other side of the road. These two creepy ladies were standing there, I could hear their snarls from across four lanes of traffic. Then they started walking across the four lanes of traffic. Perfectly maneuvering so they did not hit the oncoming cars. 

One lady had red hair and the other had green hair. Was their hair hissing?

"Sweety!" Purple yelled out to me as she reached the opposite side of the road

"Come here lovely, we have free samples!" yelled Green

I slowly backed away from the bus stop into the bush behind me. I heard their feet gaining on me so I started running. More hissing.

"Sweety" One grabbed my shoulder. Her talons dug in. Wait talons? And I mean snakes for hair? I thought I was hallucinating. Mullets I can live with, but snakes. I thought I was dreaming.

"Now just come with us and everything will be ok."

"And you will get free samples." Said green

"Shut up Stheno! Anyway just come with us," said red

"No just leave me alone."

"Just come with Euryale and I and all will be well." said Stheno sample lady

"No, go away. I have a swiss army knife!"

"Stupid girl, we will just have to use force" Euryale exclaimed as she attempted to grab me. Instead, her talons dug into my stomach ripping open my stomach. While Stheno slashed her talons across my face. I was in extreme pain, all I could see were black dots dancing in the sky. I fell to the ground.

But instead of hitting the ground with a loud thud, I fell into a hole of some sorts. I was strange, like a porthole. Next thing I know, I am in the sky and still falling. However, this time, I land with a thud, narrowingly missing a huge bonfire to my left. I scream in agony.

As I slowly drifted into unconsciousness, I hear the whispers around me...

"Oh my god."

"Percy did you see-"

"Quick grab Will and George."

"Leo extinguish yourself."

"She's not dying on me."

"Who is she?

Oh and by the way. Merry Christmas! How do you American's stand a cold Christmas? God.
