When I was laying in the V.A hospital with a bog hole blown through the middle of my life, I started having these dreams of mother. I was in her arms again.

But sooner or later, you have to wake up, and you had to realize it wasn't even real.

The scene shows Y/n Banner waking up from cryo sleep.

Y/n: "In cryo, you don't dream at all. It feels like six years or more"

The young man wakes up. He was in a cryo capsule, he was going to the planet called Pandora. His cryo capsule slowly opened and Y/n got to see inside the ship.

Yn: "We there already? Man it feels like I just slept for 2 hours"

Doctor: "Yeah, we're there sunshine... We're there."

A cryo vault med tech unbuckles Y/n from his cryo capsule bed and he slowly started to floating around.

Doctor: "You've been in cryo for five years, nine months and twenty two days. You willing be hungry, you will be weak. If you nausea please use the sacks!"

Y/n felt his stomach growl. He finds his locker where all this stuff was including his glasses and his favorite watch. He also found his favorite food from shawarma and a bottle of Coke.

Timeskip

???:"Let's go! Exo packs on!"

I grab a breathing mask called the Exo taxes the air on Pandora is toxic and it's not safe to breathe in. It isn't safe for humans to breathe in the air or you will die in just a few minutes.

???: "Remember people you lose that mask you're unconscious in 20 seconds, you're dead in 4 minutes, let's nobody be dead today, looks very bad on my report!"

I sit there as we waited until we landed. Sitting there enjoying the piece until we landed.

???: "What's your name kid?"

Turn around to find a man that was right next to me talking to me.

Y/n: "Oh umm Banner, Y/n Banner."

Jake: "I'm Jake, Jake Sully."

Y/n: "It's very nice to meet you Mr. Sully."

Jake: "You don't have to call me that. Makes me sound old, you can just call me Jake."

Y/n: "No problem Jake"

Jake: "Where you from kid?"

Y/n: "Dayton, Ohio."

Jake: "That's cool."

Y/n: "Yeah"

After sometime the ship finally landed and we unbuckled and grabbed our bags with all of our stuff. While Jake was the last one to get off because he had to get his wheelchair.

Y/n: "Do you need any help Jake?"

Jake: "No thanks, I'm good kid"

I nod and walk out of the ship while looking around the base. These guys were once army dudes but out here they're just higher guns taking the money.

Mostly everyone here are soldiers and scientists. I'm not a soldier, I'm a scientist and the lead head on gamma radiation. As I was passing by I see a giant vehicle that had arrows on the tires as it passed by.

Y/n: "That's freaky."

TIMESKIP

Everyone was now in a room with other people listen to a man named colonel Quaritch talk.

Quaritch: "You are not in Kansas anymore, you are on Pandora, ladies and gentlemen respect that fact every second of every day. If there is a hell you might want to go there for some R&R after a tour on Pandora. out there be on that fence every living thing that crawls, flies, or squats in the mud wants they kill you and eat your eyes for jujubies. We have indigenous population of humanoids called the Na'vi. They're fond of arrows dipped in a neurotoxin that will stop your heart in one minute and they have bones reinforced with natural occurring carbon fiber."

Now that was going to take some time getting used to. That there we're aliens on this planet which it was something I was not told until now.

Quaritch: "They are very hard to kill, as head of security it's my job to keep you alive. I will not succeed not with all of you. If you wish to survive you need to cultivate a strong mental attitude, you've got to obey the rules, Pandora rules."

Timeskip

Now I was walking through the hallways of the base. It was really different for me since this isn't Earth but I've been on military bases before. But I dealt with a lot back on those military bases this could be different though.

I headed to explore the lab. As I entered and looked around I saw behind a glass window a weird looking machine. It was pretty big and it had a seat in it.

Slowly walking forward to getting better look at the machine from the other side of the glass.

???: "I'll be careful if I were you"

I jump and turn around seeing a woman behind me.

Y/n: "I'm sorry I didn't know this was an restricted area cuz I'm not familiar with this place"

???: "It's all right there's not really a lot of people around here your age since Pandora isn't ready to bring civilians here yet."

For some reason she looks very familiar but I couldn't place it.

Y/n: "I'm Banner"

???: "Banner? As in Y/n Banner?"

Y/n: "Yeah that's me."

???: "it has been so long and look how you grown."

Now I was confused by this. How does she know me and who is she?

Y/n: "Ummm who are you?"

???: "You really don't recognize me? It's me, Grace Augustine."

Now I remember who she was. She was a friend an old friend but I have not seen her in years.

Y/n: "Grace! My God it's been so long!"

I gently held you and she hugged me back. She's been there for me ever since I was young. She was like a mother to me ever since my real mom died back on earth. That's also an incident that I don't like talking about.

Y/n: "It's been so long!"

Grace: "Indeed it has."

We hugged each other for a few more moments before letting go of each other.

Y/n: "How long has it been?"

Grace: "I don't know I lost count ever since I came here"

Y/n: "Tell me about it, I'm now a scientist now, and I'm now on an alien planet."

Grace: "Well you can thank me for most of that. Ever since you know what happened back then I haven't teaching you all you need to know about science."

I smiled at her because it was true. Ever since my mother died she's been there for me. She taught me things about science geography and everything I need to know about science.

Y/n: "True, very true"

We kept on talking before she had to go somewhere. As we said our goodbyes to each other for now. She stops at the door before turning around to give me one last look.

Grace: "Welcome to Pandora Dr Banner"

After that she walked out. Turn around to look back at the machine I couldn't help but smiled to myself. I work so hard and now look where it got me.

This is now a New beginning for me.
