Y/n's POV

It's was now the afternoon and the evening was getting close by. I already unpack everything and got settled in right even after I was done unpacking I went straight to the lab to begin my work. Even while I was working I was still being watched by general Ross and Colonel Quaritch. Even though they were watching over me I did my best to ignore them and continue on with my work. A knew General Ross still wasn't a fan of me since I was a scientist but I can't say the same for Quaritch since I barely even knew the guy. Since we just met not that long ago but I can tell he was probably just like Ross since people like him don't like scientists.

But I wasn't going to let either of them try to stop me from continuing doing my work. I wasn't going to let either of them to distract me from what I'm here to do. I already deal with enough authority with people like them from trying to get my work done.

Sometimes I wish I could just work with Stark since he was just like me. We're both scientists, we understand technology, we always learn from our mistakes, and we both learn how to deal with people like General Ross and Colonel Quaritch. Too bad Stark could not join me on this trip since he was too busy dealing with shit back on Earth.

TIMESKIP

Right now I was heading to the lab to get ready to do the gamma test. The only problem is that there won't be any test subjects because I will be testing the gamma on myself and I'm not sure what this may do to me. But I was going to find out. I already informed RDA, since I was the main person that studies gamma radiation, that I should be the one to test it on myself which they agreed.

They agreed right away since I knew what I was doing and they trusted me to do the gamma test.

I'm just glad there are some people here that trust me with my work especially since there are other sciences like me. The only difference from me to them is that they're studying Pandora and I'm studying gamma radiation.

I was finally going to do what I've been wanting to do since the start of my career. Although this time I'll be testing it on myself and it will be dangerous. Hopefully nothing bad happens to me.

As I was about to enter the lab I heard a voice behind me call out to me.

Grace: "Hey Y/n."

It was Grace's voice. I quickly turned around before I could walk in the room.

Y/n: "Yeah?"

Grace: "Good luck."

I smile before giving her a small nod. I was glad that she was here to support me on my research.

Y/n: "Thank you Grace."

After that I turned around and walked into the room. As soon as I entered I finally saw the machine and it looked like a simulator.

I walked up to the machine and sat down in it, placing my hands on the controls, I slowly started to start up the machine. Once everything was up and fully operational I began to start the test. As I was starting the machine, Grace and some other scientists were in a room, where they could see me from a window, and General Ross and colonel Quaritch were standing on the other side.

The idea of having them here watching me was not something I had in mind but the RDA allowed them to attend.

Y/n: "Are we ready?"

Grace: "Already to go."

I heard Grace's voice over the com and I sighed.

Y/n: "Here goes nothing."

I pressed a few buttons on the the machine and it slowly started to move. The projector projects a small green light on my head as a target to where the gamma will be shooting at.

The projector will be shooting the gamma straight to my brain which was a risk I'm willing to take.

Computer: "firing gamma ray in 3...2...1."

The projector then shot a ray of gamma straight to the base of my brain. As soon as it done there my eyes widened as something begins to happen to me.

Third Person POV

When the machine shot the gamma ray at Y/n, his eyes immediately go wide and they turn green, his body began to shake uncontrollably, and then it starts to change.

Y/n's skin begins to turn green and his clothes start to rip. As is clothes start to rip his body begin to grow and he started to get bigger and bigger.

Grace and the other scientist watching horror as he starts changing. General Ross and Colonel Quaritch watching disbelief as they watch The scientist turn from a human to a green giant.

Once the gamma ray stopped the now green creature grabs a hold of it and crushes it with its hand causing it to explode. The creature stands up and looks around and looks at the people on their side of the window.

He looks at the people for a quick second before growling in anger. He quickly lives up the damaged machine without any problem and throws it at the window which causes an explosion. Once the smoke clears the creature walks through and looks around.

It then looks down to see grace on the floor looking badly hurt. It tries to reach over to touch her to see if she was okay or if she was alive.

Ross and a soldier look at the creature and we're horrified. The soldier staying next to us begin firing at the creature and the creature looks over at him with a pissed off look on its face. The soldier kept shooting at him but the creature just roared at him and anger.

All I did was just piss him off, he just pushes Ross to the side, and throws one hit at the soldier, sending the men flying through a wall. Ross fell down beside Grace and looks up at the green creature and puts his bloody hand up at it begging it not to kill him. The creature only looks at him for a second before running at the wall.

He then breaks out of the wall and runs straight to the forest of Pandora.

That's it for now and I'm sorry for the late update. I haven't been able to work on the story with all the other ones I have plus I've been very busy at my job lately.
