FADE IN: 

INT. WAREHOUSE – ?

Lee Know and Jae On dangle with absolutely no strength to move. The ground below them is stained with their blood. It hurts Lee Know seeing how Y/n's changed.

RED: This is getting boring...

He stares at his faintly stained red bat.

LEE KNOW: Why....why...are you doing this?

RED: Didn't I tell-

He stops realizing Lee Know is addressing Y/n.

RED: Oh, so now you're ignoring me. I'll let you have it since I feel bad this will be your last da-

LEE KNOW: Why are you doing this!?

Red gestures Y/n to talk, signaling he'll back off.

Y/N: You know I love my family.

LEE KNOW: A family that drugged you! Kidnapped you! Lied to you-

Y/N: It doesn't matter, they're my family.

LEE KNOW: You are not this kind of person Y/n, don't join them.

Y/N: How do you know what I am? All you ever cared about were my memories.

LEE KNOW: I didn't only care about your memories.

Red laughs at him.

RED: Sorry. Sorry.

Lee Know glares at him.

LEE KNOW: They are bad people, they've hurt you before, they'll hurt you again.

Y/N: I don't care.

If anyone is overly uncomfortable right now, it's Tae Joon. He tries very hard to understand Y/n's change of behavior but he can't or he just does not want to accept it.

LEE KNOW: Don't let them ruin your life-

Red walks to Y/n and leans on the desk.

RED: He's annoying isn't it...why don't we finish this up quickly, shall we?

Y/n does not reply, she's trying to understand what he's actually trying to say.

Red takes out a gun and hands it to her.

The door slides open. Eun Bi walks back in.

EUN BI: Woo Shik called-

OMMA: Not now.

Eun Bi's eyes widen seeing Red offering a gun to Y/n, who is hesitating to take it.

CUT TO:

INT. SECRET ROOM - ?

I.N's jaw drops seeing his father standing at the door, who is having the same reaction.

MR. YANG: What are you doing here?!

I.N: What're you doing here?

HEE CHUL: Wait you know him?

I.N: Duh! He's my dad!

HEE CHUL: Oh...

HEE CHUL AND YOO SHIM: WHAT!

Mr. Yang closes the door behind him and walks to them.

MR. YANG: You need to get out of here, it's dangerous!

I.N: We are not leaving!

MR. YANG: Yes, you are-

I.N: No!

Mr. Yang is quite surprised.

MR. YANG: What do you mean?

I.N: I need to help Y/n, we need to get the evidence to destroy Red.

MR. YANG: That is what I expected. But this is my job, I'll do it for you.

I.N: No, I want to do this.

Hee Chul and Yoo Shim watch.

HEE CHUL: Why is my dad so boring?

YOO SHIM: Sssh!

MR. YANG: Fine, but promise me you will leave with my associates once we get the evidence.

I.N: What are you, my dad?

Mr. Yang knows he deserves that. I.N goes back to searching for the key-card with a frown on his face.

CUT TO:

INT. WAREHOUSE - ?

RED: Kill him.

Y/N: huh?

She can't hide the fact she is shocked with Red's offer.

RED: Kill him...

Y/n hesitates to even look at the gun.

RED: Why? Are you changing sides again?

Y/N: No, the thing is...

Lee Know is hoping she declines.

Y/N: The thing is...

She looks like she's embarrassed to say it.

RED: Hurry up.

Y/N: I've never used a gun.

Red chuckles.

RED: Obviously you haven't. It's easy, push the gun against his head and pull the trigger.

Y/n thinks for a moment.

LEE KNOW: Don't Y/n.

Y/n slowly reaches for the gun. Her hands droop down not expecting the gun to be so heavy.

RED: Remember, against his head, shoot.

Y/n nods getting a grip on the foreign object and walks to Lee Know who has given up, she takes a glance at Jae On before placing the gun on Lee Know's head.

Y/N: I can do this...

She takes a deep breath as Red crosses his arm excited to watch this. In a split-second Y/n's arms raise up to Lee Know's chains and shoots it. Lee Know falls to the ground and feels the chains ease around his arms.

Red's smile drops. She turns and shoots at Jae On's chain too.

Eun Bi rushes toward Y/n to grab her gun, but falls to the ground as Jae On wraps his chains around her feet.

Red gestures Omma to not make any moves.

Y/n checks on Lee Know.

Y/N: Are you okay?

LEE KNOW: Ugh...ugh...yeah...

Y/n feels a gun press against the back of her head. She turns and finds Red aiming at her point blank. In a chain reaction Tae Joon aims his gun at Red and Omma aims her gun at Tae Joon.

CUT TO:

INT. SECRET ROOM - ?

I.N is rooting for his dad not to get the key-card first; they both are searching the same desk.

MR. YANG: I'm sorry.

I.N ignores him.

MR. YANG: I said I'm sorry.

I.N: Are you talking to me?

He says not bothering to look at his dad.

MR. YANG: I understand you are really mad at me-

I.N hits the file against the desk making Yoo Shim and Hee Chul flinch.

I.N: Great you understand! I'm glad you understand how mad I am at you for leaving without even saying goodbye!

Mr. Yang looks down.

I.N: I really appreciate it. Thanks a lot dad!

He gets back to searching.

MR. YANG: I never wanted to do that to you, but-

I.N: I-I don't really want to hear it. You're late.

He stops noticing a part of the desk change in appearance when he touches the bottom of it, he does it again to see a hidden compartment - A card inside.

MR. YANG: You found it!

Yoo shim and Hee Chul rush to them, Mr. Yang takes out a thin metal rod, similar to a screwdriver, and breaks open the drawer, getting the key-card out. I.N snatches it from his hand and goes to the swiper on the wall, he swipes it in but nothing happens.

I.N: What the-

The wall on the opposite side slides open.

YOO SHIM: Time to bust this dude for all the things he did.

I.N: Ok guys, our priority is to find the evidence for Mr. Lee's accident.

Yoo Shim and Hee Chul nod. I.N steps into the room and the lights change color. A loud alarm starts ringing.

VOICE: INTRUDER! INTRUDER! INTRUDER!

I.N: What!?

A large group of men dressed in black rush in. Hee Chul almost has his heart attack with his panic attack.

CUT TO:

INT. WAREHOUSE - ?

The alarm echoes through the warehouse.

RED: THERE IS SOMEONE IN MY OFFICE!

OMMA: I'll take care of it.

Tae Joon hits Omma on her head making her drop unconscious. Y/n can't believe what's happening.

Lee Know grabs Red, making sure he does not escape.

RED: Let go of me!

LEE KNOW: No!

They both fight, Red, the more experienced fighter, soon overpowers Lee Know.

Y/n pulls Red away, he starts beating up Y/n instead. Lee Know who is trying hard to stay conscious, has no idea what's happening, looses balance and falls. Y/n gets hit in her head and falls to the floor, unresponsive.

LEE KNOW: Y/n...

Red turns to face Lee Know, he wraps his hands around his neck and begins to strangle Lee Know, who tries fighting back.

RED: Die....Die...

Tae Joon tries to stop him, but reels back as Red headbutts him.

Jae On, who is fighting Eun Bi, tries reaching his brother but seeing what he sees, he knows he does not have to.

Red's grip tightens. He's super close to ending Lee Know's short life. <WHACK!>

He falls to the ground, Y/n throws the bat aside and kneels beside Lee Know.

Y/N: Are you okay?

LEE KNOW: Ye-yeah..

He coughs trying to get his breath back.

Tae Joon finishes tying up omma. Eun Bi falls to the floor, finally losing to Jae On.

CUT TO:

INT. SECRET ROOM - ?

The group of thugs suddenly fall to the floor, electrocuted. Hee Chul's mouth stays open witnessing the mass tasering. The SWAT team rush in.

They salute Mr. Yang.

I.N: Your apart of the SWAT team?

Mr. Yang does not hear him and gives orders to his team.

CUT TO:

INT. WAREHOUSE - ?

Tae Joon ties up Eun Bi and checks on a seriously injured Jae On.

Y/n pulls out a recorder from under the table.

Y/N: Take this, it's a recording of everything that happened.

Lee Know takes it, amazed.

LEE KNOW: When did you have time to plan all of this?

Y/N: Well, I'm a genius.

She gives a weak smile.

LEE KNOW: We won't ever go back to normal, right?

Y/n's smile fades, it's the truth.

Y/N: I'm sorry. I can't....

She looks down.

LEE KNOW: Thank you... for everything.

They look at each other, speaking the unspoken.

<BANG> Tae Joon falls to the floor. corridor.

CUT TO:

INT. WAREHOUSE, CORRIDOR:

I.N walks with his dad to the place where Y/n is being held.

MR. YANG: I envy your friendship with Y/n, not everyone gets a friend who shields you with their own body when your bullies are beating you to death.

I.N: We didn't even know each other at that time. She even let mom tell everyone that I saved her. I'm glad someone knows the real story.... wait, you knew?

MR. YANG: It is my job to know.

He smiles at him.

I.N: So, this is your work... the SWAT team.

MR. YANG: Pretty much. Always has been.

I.N: Then maybe it changes things... (his dad looks at him) you know...between us...

Mr. Yang wants to say something but stops as they reach a team of armed officers.

MR. YANG: Remember, the aim is to take Red alive.

They nod.

CUT TO:

INT. WAREHOUSE - ?

The SWAT team barge in to the room, their guns in position to shoot. They stop and tread carefully seeing Red aiming two guns, one at Jae On and the other at Lee Know.

Y/n slowly approaches Red.

Y/N: Appa don't...

Red walks over and presses the gun against Jae On's head.

Y/N: No!

RED: And why do you care?

Y/N: Because I love you! I've missed you. Don't do this, pick the right thing now, chose the right thing.

Red chuckles. He looks at the SWAT team.

RED: Then you die.

Lee Know pulls Y/n aside and they both fall to the ground as the gun goes off.

EUN BI: NOOO!

Y/n knows neither of them got shot but she knows someone else did. She can't find Red. She sits up. Lee Know blocks her view before she finds Red. All she can see is the blood, on the floor, behind Lee Know.

LEE KNOW: Don't look.

I.N squeezes himself between the officers and he sees Red, dead on the floor. A few feet away, Y/n crying her heart out. I.N drops to the floor next to her.

I.N: You did good Y/n...You did great...Look at me.... Look at me.

He holds her shoulder.

I.N: It's over.... You hear me? It's over.

He hugs her.

Paramedics are bought in who first check on Omma and Tae Joon. A devastated Eun Bi is escorted out. Mr. Yang advices Lee Know to accompany his brother to the ambulance. He hesitates, but leaves with his brother.

He stops at the door. This is it. It's over – he looks back at Y/n one last time.

FADE OUT.
