Exposed
Pandora pulls the shirt she was just trying on over her head in the clothing store changing room, exposing most of her upper body with the exception of the bra she put on this morning. Putting the cute top down on the pile she'd already put on, she runs her hands through her hair to deal with the messiness that the shirt had done to it. Then she reaches down and readjusts the waistband of her jeans, checking herself out in the mirror for a moment with a smile. Pandora reaches for her next shirt and starts fiddling with it to put it on.
Suddenly, the curtain to her changing room is pulled back by Jemma, much to Pandora's surprise, "Hey, what do you think of...?" says Jemma as she stands in the change room doorway like it's no big deal.
Pandora quickly tries to cover herself up with the shirt in her hand, "Jemma, what are you...?" she starts to ask as Jemma's attention falls on her barely covered upper body, causing it to turn into a smirk.
"Cute top, you picked that out?" asks Jemma, cutting Pandora's question off. All Pandora does is halfheartedly nod as Jemma continues checking her out, "You're going to look hot in that."
It takes Pandora a second to answer, "Okay, well, I... let me put it on and you can find out for sure."
Jemma doesn't seem to take the hint, "Sure..." but she just stands there waiting on Pandora to do something.
"I'll, be out in a minute."
That makes Jemma seem confused, "Why?" she says before continuing when Pandora doesn't answer the question, "Come on, it's not like I don't have all the same parts."
Jemma closes the curtain behind her, leaving them by themselves in the small room and then she reaches for the hem of her shirt, which is not the one that she came in with.
"Wanna see?" says Jemma as she starts to pull her shirt up.
"No, no... that's... I'm... just... I'll be out in a minute, okay?" insists Pandora, somewhat flustered.
Jemma stops taking her shirt off and lets go of the hem, looking at her friend's response as if she's confused, "You're sure?"
Pandora manages to project the idea that she's not still flustered, "Yeah... just... give me a minute."
"Okay..." says Jemma with a nonchalant shrug and turns her back to Pandora, opening the curtain and leaving without closing the curtain behind her. Pandora is quick to pick up the slack though, closing the curtain quickly.
As Jemma waits outside the change room, Pandora quickly brings the shirt over her head and put it on. She takes a few moments to compose herself before opening up the curtain again and walking out to see Jemma looking right at her.
Jemma's eyes look over Pandora, clearly interested, "I knew it. You look great."
Pandora seems uncomfortable at Jemma's level of interest in her. "You think? It's pretty different from my usual stuff."
"It's good to change things up."
"I guess... but, I'm not sure it's me." states a still unsure Pandora.
"That's the point. Do something you never thought you should." says the excited Jemma then adding, "Speaking of which..."
She picks up a shirt on a hanger and hands it to Pandora, "Would you mind putting this in your bag for me?"
Pandora takes the shirt from her friend and looks it over, "When did you have time to buy a shirt?" noticing the anti-theft tags are still on it, "unless... you did buy the shirt didn't you?"
"It's like I said," Jemma says with a shrug while going through some of the other outfits she has with her, "We should do things we never thought about."
"You stole this?" asks a worried Pandora, looking around in concern.
"Well no..." says a strangely calm Jemma "Not yet anyway... and, you know, say that a little louder would you?"
"Then why are you giving it to me?" wonders Pandora.
"I ran out of room in my bag."
"What?" says an increasingly worried Pandora, "You ran out of room?"
"Yeah..." Jemma says with a smile.
"How many things did you steal from here?"
"This would be my first."
"Sorry?" a bewildered Pandora asks.
Jemma smiles, "I haven't stolen anything from here yet."
"Then why don't you...?" Pandora begins before realizing "Have you been stealing from all the stores we've been to?"
Jemma doesn't respond.
"What? How... why would you do that?"
Pandora's friend shrugs "Didn't I already cover that?"
"And you want me to help you steal?"
"Yeah, look, I made sure to steal a few things for you too. If you don't want any of them, I'll take them."
"I-I never asked you to steal for me."
"That's the beauty of it. I'll do it for you and you do it for me. We both win." says a strangely excited Jemma.
"Unless we get caught." Pandora fires back.
"We won't get caught."
"How do you know?" asks a visibly concerned Pandora.
Jemma seems off-put by Pandora's question as if she's not sure whether to answer it or not. Eventually, she tries to force the issue, "Look, just..." Jemma grabs Pandora's bag off the table and scrambles to open it, "Just..."
Pandora gets a hold of her bag and they each struggle to take control of it, "What are you doing?"
"Just, let me..." Jemma starts before the back and forth struggle causes The Box to fall out of her bag. It falls away from Pandora and not far from Jemma's feet. They both notice it and like before, Pandora isn't sure what to do. Jemma eventually starts to reach down to pick it up.
"Don't..." pleads Pandora.
"Why not? Why do you still have this?"
Pandora looks at Jemma confused, "What do you mean?"
"I mean, you had it at the party."
"You remember that?" asks a confused Pandora.
"Of course I remember it. I figured it was some kind of party favor or something, so did Sarah and David. Why are you still carrying it around?"
"It's just... you didn't seem to..." starts Pandora before shutting up so she doesn't say anything she shouldn't.
"Seem to what?"
Pandora doesn't answer right away, uncertain of how to handle it, "Nothing..." Jemma reaches down again, picking up The Box and causing Pandora to reach forward then pulling back, "Just... don't... try to open it."
Jemma turns The Box over in her hands, examining it even though it doesn't glow, "Why not?" It isn't long before Jemma notices the lack of a glow. "Shouldn't it be doing that thing?"
"What thing?" Pandora asks trying to play dumb.
"Didn't it, you know, glow before? Like it was some kind of mood ring or something." wonders a curious Jemma.
"I think so."
That makes Jemma look up from The Box to her friend, "Shouldn't you know?"
"I don't really know how it works. It's... it's a family heirloom. I only just got it. I'm still trying to figure it out."
Pandora's friend goes back to looking at The Box in her hand, "Maybe I could help."
"I'm kinda supposed to figure it out myself. My parents were kinda insistent about that." Pandora attempts to explain without really knowing for sure that she's right.
Jemma watches her friend as she seems fixated on The Box.
Pandora eventually asks "Can I, get it back?" before continuing "Look, I'm really sorry about the way I was talking before, I'd just like it back."
Jemma seems to accept that, "I'm sorry too, I just want you to have a little fun. Loosen up you know?" and then hands over The Box.
The second that Pandora and Jemma are touching The Box at the same time, it flashes yellow. Both of their eyes also glow yellow in a short flash. Jemma smiles and Pandora seems to try to shake off whatever happened before smiling back at her.
"Okay..."
Pandora steps into Jemma's personal space as she lets go of The Box and almost without knowing it drops the mystical box in her bag. She grabs Jemma by the back of her head and kisses her. Not long into the kiss, they start to grab at each other to deepen the lip lock. Jemma steps back into the round couch in the middle of the change room's main area with some of their clothing on it. Their lip lock ends as Jemma sits down on the couch. They smile at each other just as Pandora climbs onto the couch with her knees on either side of Jemma, straddling her.
Pandora straddles Jemma as they go from kissing to full on making out. A store customer comes into the change room and notices the two teenagers, "Oh, uh, sorry..."
The customer leaves uncomfortably. Pandora and Jemma stop making out at the customer's words and smile as she leaves before turning to each other.
"You know, if we get caught, they'll probably call the police on us." points out Pandora.
"You're right." agrees Jemma as they get off the couch, "Better to cut and run."
Pandora shoves the shirt Jemma wanted her to help steal into her bag, basically doing what they'd been arguing about, "That way we can keep the fun going." She takes off the shirt she came out of the change room with and grabs her old one from the change room, putting it on. Jemma watches with interest.
Jemma grabs her bag as does Pandora, "Let's go."
They move towards the exit of the change room and then Pandora stops them, "Wait..."
Pandora looks around the change room for a moment, before turning to Jemma again and kissing her deeply. The kiss lasts a long moment and then ends with them both smiling at each other.
"Okay, let's go."
