Chapter 82

Dhritarashtr stopped her, though Bhism and Vidur begged to let her go, the pandavas were shocked as they looked at their tatshree, the man was their uncle, was the king of Hastinapur yet he was so partial about his sons.

"Dasi come here!" Duryodhan ordered, "Svatranta mann ka svabhav hai murkh Duryodhan, Koi vastr nahi joh chinn sakho!" She shouted as she glared at him, pain and anger are two things that thrummed through her being as she looked at him.

"You egotistical woman! You have too much attitude! One can't take away the freedom but clothes can be taken away! Dushasan Disrobe her!!" Duryodhan shouted enraged, "DURYODHAN! STAY IN YOUR LIMITS!" Arjun shouted, his fury broke through all the confines as he stood up with his brothers who were equally enraged. They wanted Duryodhan's head for just thinking about disrobing her. Arjun pulled the shield from the nearby guard and swung it in an arc, the shield moved throughout the court extinguishing every source of light and within moments the sabha was filled in darkness.

"SAMRAT DHRITARASHTR THE WAY THIS SABHA IS SUBMERGED IN DARKNESS IN A SIMILAR MANNER WE WILL FILL YOUR LIFE WITH DARKNESS!"Arjun roared like an enraged tiger, as he glared at everyone. His fury no longer could confined, he demanded blood, blood of the Kauravas.

"WHAT SORT OF CRUELTY IS THIS DURYODHAN!" Dharmraj snapped, his patience had ended, he had done his best to hold on to his dharm but now his fury knew no bounds, he glared at the man in front of him, his hands itching to snap the neck that dared to speak such words about his Panchaali.

"ORDER US JYEST! LET US TAKE BACK OUR WEAPONS!" Nakul's wrath unleashed as his hands fisted, his blood was boiling, the man had dared to think about such a horrific thing. He could no longer hold back.

"DURYODHAN! I WILL DESTROY THE VERY BASE OF THIS RAJBHAVAN!" Bheem roared as he glared at the man in front of him, if he could he would just kill him. One order. Just one order from his jyest and he word tear him to pieces.

"JYEST EITHER KILL US OR GIVE US THE ORDER TO KILL HIM!" Sahadev shouted as he stepped forward, he had enough, he heard enough, he had seen enough, anymore and he will either die himself or he will end up killing all.

"DURYODHAN! Have some shame! There will be no such adharm happening in the sabha of Hastinapur!" Shouted Bhism as he glared at the insolent man in front of him. "See from your heart MAHARAJ DHRITARASHTR! DON'T LET SUCH A BIG ADHARM HAPPEN IN YOUR SABHA!" Dronacharya shouted, making Dhritarashtr jump in nervousness. "YUVRAJ DURYODHAN NO SUCH ADHARM WILL BE HAPPENING IN THE KURU SABHA!" Shouted Vidur, he was followed by all the other kings and subjects screaming and shouting to not such an adharm happen.

"Shut up everyone! Ask Yudhisthir if the master has the right to punish his slaves or not? Aren't you all my slaves?!" Duryodhan shouted as he looked at Yudhisthir, who greeted his teeth, his hands fist, this man was just asking to be killed. "Yes we are..." he was cut off by Draupadi, "I AM NOT A DASI. KINGDOMS ARE WON IN WARS NOT BY CHEATING." she snapped as she glared at Duryodhan.

"DID YOU SEE THAT PITAMAH?!
NOW TELL ME IF IT IS WRONG TO PUNISH THIS BRAT!" He shouted as he looked at Bhism, who glared at the knucklehead and held out his hand in a stopping motion,"ENOUGH!YOU ARE WRONG DURYODHAN AND ACCEPT IT!" He shouted, his fury and guilt was slowly chocking him. "I CAN'T LET SUCH ADHARM HAPPEN IN FRONT OF MY EYES. I AM NO LONGER GOING TO STAY HERE!" He roared in anger as he marched down, his soul was weeping, the Hastinapur that he had sacrificed so much for was now at the mercy of this wolves. "Mahamahim Bhism! Take your seat back. You had promised to never leave the side of MY sons and me!" Dhritarashtr shot the command making Bhism freeze, such monsters were born in his family, he couldn't believe that he had helped raise such cruel beings. He sat back his anger, pain and frustration chocking on him, he sat, his hand resting on the side, he pressed it so hard on the edge that trails of blood flowed down but nothing eased the pain in his heart.

"Speak up Pitama." Duryodhan commanded, Bhism's soul burned with agony as he chocked the words out, "Vaths Draupadi it has been ... proven ...th...that..you are a dasi." Panchaali could hear the pain in his voice, his regret and guilt warred in, she gritted her teeth as she fisted her hands, "There are rules for punishing in every justice system but world's no justice system permits this adharm." Vidur stated, his voice wobbly as tears rained down through his eyes. "What is the punishment for taking out one's weapon in a raj sabha? It's to behead them. But what were we punished as? Our weapons were taken away! When the rules were not followed in Indraprasth why should we? We warriors were insulted that day!" Shouted Karn, "Warrior? You call yourself a warrior? If you were warrior you would have been standing in the battlefield not sitting here in the dyut sabha! Many animals in the forest have a mane Angraj but not all are Lions!" She snapped, "DRAUPADI!" He Shouted in warning but was cut off by Dronacharya, "Don't argue Angraj Karn!" He snapped, his patience was wearing thin.

"Duryodhan we won't let the honour of a woman be harmed in this rajyasabha." Dronacharya stated, his voice was barely above a whisper but the threat in it was clear as day, "Mere bache, let the idea of vastrharan go." Gandhar raj stated as he looked at Duryodhan, who opposed. "But mamashree..." he was cut off by Shakuni, "No my child, the environment of the Sabha is not good. Forget about Draupadi instead take the chance of letting this all bow to you." He suggested making Duryodhan smirked, "Fine! I will not punish her. But for that to happen you all will have to join your hands and bow to me! Pitamah bow to me! Mahamantri Vidur bow to me! Guru Dron bow to me! And you five daas bow to me!" He shouted as he looked at everyone, Draupadi's soul cried as she watched her elders join their hands, didn't Duryodhan have a soul Pitamah Bhism, Guru Dron and Mahamantri Vidur were his elders, how can he let this happen?? Didn't he have shame, that he was insulting his own elders in such a manner.

Her heart cracked as she watched her husbands stomp down their respect, their anger, their hate, their everything as they too joined their hands, tears tracing down his cheeks. She shook her head, agony never like before shook her soul as she watched all the kaurav brothers laugh and humiliate the others.

"Duryodhan! We all give up our weapons and we bow to you. Now you forgive Draupadi." Bhism requested as he continued to join his hand. Duryodhan smirked, "I had promised to think about forgiving her, and Pitamah I thought about it but I can't forgive this dasi!" Shouted Duryodhan, his eyes glaring at Draupadi, who refused to bow to him and met him with a glare of her own, Shakuni was stunned, he knew his nephew was now inviting his death, Draupadi was Krishn's sakhi, she had his protection and it was no secret that the Pandavas were devansh, and she was reincarnation of many goddesses, what bound her powers were her bonds to her husband and voce versa for Pandavas, looking at his nephew he knew making that moron understand was useless, he will need to the get the women of the family involved if this escalated.

"Dushasan go and disrobe the dasi!" He ordered, Dushasan moved but ViKarn stepped out, "Stop Bhraata Dushasan. Bhraata Duryodhan, a king needs to know justice before he rules a kingdom but now you are a Samrat, if you will do such a cruelty, the praja will hate you bhraatashree." He tried explaining, "ViKarn explained, "Are you rebelling against your brother?!" Dushasan growled, "Giving your jyest the right advice is not rebelling against him. Jyest if a king loses a war, he has to give up his weapons but women are never disrobed. And Drupad Kumari? She is the Kulvadhu of Kuruvansh, it's a fact that no one can change." ViKarn explained as he joined his hand, he looked at his brother, willing him to understand. "Kulvadhu? What are you saying ViKarn? If not every animal who has a mane is a lion than not every woman who wears a chudamani is chaste too. A woman who has relationship with five men is no less than a prostitute, and whether prostitutes have clothes or they don't, it doesn't matter." Karn spat as he took his seat, the pandavas' fist clenched, as they glared at him. Arjun decided that moment that he will kill him by shredding the throat that had dared speak such insulting words to his wife.

"Duryodhan don't do this cruelty." Pitamah begged making Panchaali shake her head, men who had the power of all the world yet were begging, "DURYODHAN!" Dronacharya began,Panchaali's patience snapped enough of all this, she had enough, everything in her shattered as she shut off everything in her, she shut off her heart, snapping her all her relationships with everyone. At Karn's words they all had still been silent, they all held their dharma close to their chest. She fisted her hand as her anger boiled, she was no longer a woman, just an empty vessel who held the anger of the world in her. Fury that bubbled in her like a volcano that was ready to erupt.

"BE SILENT EVERYONE! BE SILENT! Be Silent Pitamah, be silent guru Dron, mahamantri you too be silent and Aryaputro now you all to be silent." She whispered as her voice was now filled with pain, "You all now can no longer protect me, so now be silent." She chocked the words out, "IN THE NAME OF DHARMA ALL THIS ADHARM HAD HAPPENED AND NONE OF YOU HAD THE GUTS TO STOP IT." She shouted in pain, her voice was like thunder striking the souls of all the one present, her aryas cried as she glared at each one of them.

"Woh dharm hi kya joh shakti ko nirbalta bana dey." She stated as she looked at her husbands, who wept silently, bowing their head in shame. "Woh satya hi kya joh dushtoh ko bhasm karne ke bajaye bolne wale ke saahas ko hi jala de." She chocked the words out as Bhism cried out loud, the strongest man in Aryavart shattered today. The pandavas could now only see they were all dead from within, words reached their head but nothing registered. The suppressed fury was like a poison that ate them from within, they had all the power in the world, they could stop this if they wished, they knew this but their dharm bound them, this chakravyuh of dharm had them surrounded them from every direction.

"Aap sab ne dharm ke vastavik roop ko samja hi nahi. Deepak prakash avashya dhahran karta hai, par jyoti buj jaane ke baad haatho ko kaal bhi karta hai. Ussi prakar aap sab ke dharm mein se ab prakash ja chukka hai. Ab mera rakhshan aap sab nhi kar payenge, mere rakhshan ab agar hona hoga toh ab woh swayam ishvar karegengey ." Her voice wobbled as
She stated and began limping towards the center of stage, she felt like she was slowly walking towards death. Each step was bringing her closer to the demise of Panchaali.

She walked in the center of the stage, it felt like she stood on the pyre of her death. "Come Dushasan today you too test your valour." Her voice sounded dead as she joined her hands in front of her, she shut her eyes, the storm of emotions calmed as she destroyed her every relationship with every person that ever existed, the flame of her humiliation consumed everything, leaving behind nothing but that one bond which was stronger than anything. Her bond to that one person, who was her everything. His name was like a sacred whisper that left her mouth, "Govind." She whispered.

Her voice had been too soft for anyone to hear, but it reverberated through the silent battlefield like a  thunder, the battlefield was completely destroyed just like the man who sat there. Death ruled the place, as fire consumed what was left but amidst all the pain and destruction rested a chariot and in it sat a man who was completely broken and filled with nothing but agony.

"Govind." His name rang through his ears, penetrating through the ocean of anger and pain that warred in his chest. His guilt was heavy on his heart, as he too had been a silent observer till so far, fate rendering him weak, "Govind." The brokenness of her heart, the sharp edge of her cracked heart sliced through his. Agony and torment like never before had today shattered his mind and soul, her fury was just fueling his.

The pandavas hands fisted as they watched Panchaali walk up, their palms bled but it was nothing compared to the agony that was marring them from within, they accepted every bit of it and prayed that till the end of time their agony would just increase. They were forever shattered, no longer would they feel themselves complete again. The mocking laugh of the Kauravas did nothing to ease the pain in their heart, the agony, their stomach crunched.

Their body trembled with rage as they watched Dushasan move ahead, a look of utter glee on his face, with his each step the flame of their agony increased and in it burned their soul, a soul that screamed in pain, that bled in agony but was forced to go through this torture.

Krishn's fists tightened as he watched Dushasan's hand touch her palloo, his fury and pain dueled as he watched Dushasan tug at her saree. He had watched her toady beg and cry in front of everyone but never again, she had finally called on to him and he refused to back away, the fate and kaalchakra demanded he let her be disrobed but he refused to.

His eyes settled on the piece of her odhni that she had tied around his palm when he had mistaking cut his hand, he could still remember the pain and agony on her face when she had seen the slight cut on him, his heart spasmed than how could he let such a huge attack on her go surpassed.

The pandavas' couldn't bare to see this, they watched as Dushasan's hand grabbed her palloo and began to pull. They could never imagine this that there was any way possible for this agony to increase but apparently it could, the sharp jolt of white pure agony racked through their heart, piercing their soul as it slowly pulsed through their body destroying every positive thought, ever sort of positiveness, leaving behind aggravated wounds that they knew would forever last, for the wounds on the body could heal but no one could ever tell how deep the wounds of the soul are, they often took the life of the one who possessed them.  They prayed to the god out there if the god wished he could take their soul and. damn them forever in hell but to help Panchaali out of here.

Krishn's hand travelled to the knot that she had tied as he slowly began to undo it. Tears after tears rained down his cheeks as anger from his chest blazed a fire in the torches of Hastinapur's sabha and the fire shot up from the torches to the middle of the roof.

Yada yada hi dharmasya glanirbhavati bharata
Abhythanamadharmasya tadatmanam srijamyaham

Paritranaya sadhunang vinashay cha dushkritam
Dharmasangsthapanarthay sambhabami yuge yuge

The pandavas head shot up as they watched the fire in the torches around them blaze, and strong winds began to blow in the enclosed space of sabha, the sound of thunder reverberated throughout the room. Shock paralysed them as they watched the fire from the torches shoot up and form a chakra in center. The loud chanting of a shlok began from somewhere, the meaning of it clear as day.

Yada yada hi dharmasya glanirbhavati bharata
Abhythanamadharmasya tadatmanam srijamyaham

Paritranaya sadhunang vinashay cha dushkritam
Dharmasangsthapanarthay sambhabami yuge yuge

Everyone was shocked and stunned, the crying Pitamah, Vidur and Dronacharya joined their hands and fell on their knees, crying and crying. Blazing bight as red material of cloth appeared from one side of the chakra, Pandavas watched stunned as the huge trail of material fly down to their wife and add itself to her saree, they snapped out of their shock as their hands joined and they cried but instead of fear it was relief, they thanked the gods above, no longer to them it mattered what happened to them, whether they lost their life or themselves it didn't matter, they deserved everything. They wished to die but they refused to suicide for they wanted to punish themselves , the pandavas knew this would be way too much easy for them, dying would be easy, but for things that they had let today happen they deserved a fate worse than death, they deserved a fate where they would be in so much pain that they'll beg for mercy of death but  it won't come to them, they prayed to god that this fate may befall on them. That they may forever, till the end of the world suffer from that agony.

Pitamah Bhism, Guru Dron, and Mahamantri Vidur joined their hands as they watched another trail of a huge cloth wrap around Draupadi, the path to their demise was set, they could see it but they couldn't stop themselves from bowing in front of the holy power that graced the sabha,

Yada yada hi dharmasya glanirbhavati bharata
Abhythanamadharmasya tadatmanam srijamyaham

Paritranaya sadhunang vinashay cha dushkritam
Dharmasangsthapanarthay sambhabami yuge yuge

The cloth wrapped around her as though embracing her from every direction. Krishn unloosed another side if the band on his hand as other three bands unfurled from the roof of Hastinapur and added itself to her saree.

Shri Krishn Govind Hare Muraari! Hey Nath Narayan Vasudev!

The chanting began, no one knew who was chanting but it could be heard from every direction. Reverberating through every corner of the sabha, the sound of the flute followed as a wall of the cloth material was formed around her. The Kauravas were stunned, their cognition failing to understand what was happening. How was this even possible? There was just no way. Karn had lost all his sense as he watched what happened in front of him, he could see everything but his mind was struggling to believe his eyes.

Draupadi felt warm, a warmth like she was being hugged from every direction, the presence of Krishn could be felt as the warmth of his care and love enveloped her. Assuring her that she wasn't alone, that he always stood with her against all the odds of the world.

Duryodhan and Dushasan were shocked as they watched the miracle happen, how was this possible?! Their minds couldn't comprehend. What nonsense was this!

Dushasan pulled with even more anger, he pulled and pulled and pulled, his hands moving with urgency as he began to grow tried but the cloth never ended.

Krishn's mind was replaying all her screams, her pain, her agony, he could feel it, like it was hers. His soul was in pieces as his one of the most beautiful creations was broken by the cruelty of the world. His fury burned and crunched in him, willing him to kill, he looked around, he had won a battle today but he felt like the biggest failure, a void had been created in his chest as he memorized every face and promised himself that one day he will see each one of them die, it didn't matter if in the end he will have to take many curses or even if he will have to die but he promised himself to kill this monsters.

He pulled the last piece free as he took the cloth in both his hand, the organ in his chest aching and spasming as he turned his hand in which the cloth rested to the side of the chariot and let it drop like an ahuti. With the cloth dropped his restrain and an energy bursted out of him as he stripped every man in the raj sabha naked.

Pandavas felt a force of energy surround them as all their jewellery was tugged away leaving them with nothing, they were naked. Shock prevailed on them as they watched all the sabha being stripped naked, their clothes and jewellery piling at the feet of their wife, the sabha that had thought of  humiliating her stood naked today.

Dushasan felt himself being shoved by an invisible energy as he fell back, he had no energy to wake up as he was lost in exhaustion. Tons and tons of material rested on either side of him yet the woman in front of him was completely dressed. What was this magic?

Fear slammed in Duryodhan's chest as he felt all his jewelry, angvastr and crown fall, followed by everyone else. Confusion, fear and shock reigned the place. As everyone looked at each others naked forms. What was this maya? What was happening?

The whole sabha was submerged in darkness as a warm golden light fell on Draupadi, she the only one stood in the light of dharma while the entire sabha was submerged in the dark abysses of adharm. She however felt dead.

Hare Krishn! Hare Krishn hare Krishn, Krishn, Krishn, Hare Hare.

"Draupadi. . ."  A broken whisper left Kunti's mouth as she looked at her daughter, her body grew numb as all her emotions vanished in thin air. She felt Gandhari shaking her asking her what was happening but all she could do was stare, after all what did one expect from a mother who had slowly died.

Her eyes slowly travelled to her sons, who refused to meet her gaze, she rushed to her daughter, but was stopped midway as Draupadi raised her hand and stopped her.

"Don't touch me Rajmata Kunti I will be soiled."  She stated, dead was what she sounded like, "I am no longer your Putrvadhu, no longer am I the Panchaali of Pandavas, No longer I am the wife of your sons." She didn't shout but it felt like she had, her tone had taken the quality of a growl, there was no longer any pain just an anger. A fury, a wrath that she pledge would be the end of everyone in this sabha. Shock ran through the pandavas as their heads snapped up at her, a zing of pain, hot, sharp and blinding ran through them as they watched her with a look of disbelief, their eyes lowered, no matter how much agony they felt, they didn't speak, she had a every right to disown them and they didn't deserve to call her theirs.

"No longer I am your daughter, no longer I am the Kulvadhu of Kuruvansh!" Her words were sharp like whip, that shattered through the hearts of Dron, Vidur and Mahamahim. Never in the history of Kuruvansh this sort of adharm had happened and what had they done? Stood and watched.

Panchaali's hand moved to her mangalsutr and tugged at it sharply, it gave under the force and snapped as the small dark moti fell everywhere, she threw it at Arjun, shock was the first emotion that travelled through him followed by a soul wrenching agony. Memories played in mind, every morning he would clip it in place but his dead eyes watched as the mangalsutr now came flying, falling right in front of him, broken and shattered.

Yudhisthir watched in shock as her hand travelled to her sindur, with one quick motion it was wiped clear of her maang, he died, he died that very instance all his dharm left him, he was no longer Dharmraj as the one who made him Dharmraj had left him, his dharma had disowned him today.

Sahadev begged for her not to do it but he watched as her toe rings came flying at him and fell in front of him, his soul cried and begged but he held his silence, he deserved this, he said to himself over and over again.

Nakul shook his head, as he just stared as she pulled out their wedding ring and threw at him. It fell it on his feet, taking her away from him, their marriage vows snapping like fragile thread.

Bheem just sat there crying, tears after tears fell down his cheeks as he awaited for his death to befall on him, Vrikodar had never went against her and today too he accepted all her decisions. He watched as she wrapped her fingers around her chudamani and flung it at his feet, the chudamani fell soundlessly and the five stones representing all her husbands fell on the feet of each one respectively. Vrikodar died.

"I am now husband less, father less, caste less, kul less, name less, vansh less. I am the Dharma of Dharmraj, The valour of Vrikodar, The pride of Paarth, I am the Love of Nakul and Sayam of Sahadev but when I disown them all, when I break my every tie to them I  am just a fire, I myself am pure but I reign of impurities. Today in this sabha I have cried the tears of all the women in entire universe, Rajmata Kunti,Maharani Gandhari if you wish to save your lives than leave this sabha for this entire sabha will forever be lost and drowned. " Her words stroked the terror in everyone's heart, making it burn brighter.

"I AM NOT A HUMAN! I AM DEATH! DEATH OF EVERY ADHARMI IN THIS ADHARM SABHA!" She shouted, her voice had terror breaking throughout the sabha as people began to shuffle.

"No Draupadi! No! Don't! Have mercy! Please forgive them!" Gandhari begged as she joined her hands, "this is mercy Maharani Gandhari for if I began punishing each one of this men will suffer throughout every moment of this lifetime, they will die every second yet there would be no mercy of death!" Draupadi shouted as she looked at Gandhari.

Krishn's eyes blazed as fury roared in his chest, she wanted blood, she wanted death and he wouldn't hesitate to deliver it, his face hardened as his fists clenched.

"I, Yagseni Krishnaa! Call upon my one protector! To unleash my powers!" She shouted, her voice was like a thunder that rang throughout the place, a loud sound of shankha (conch shell) reverberated throughout the hall as a huge at least a thousand foot man appeared behind her, bright golden light emitting from her body. His glow wrapped around Panchaali as her divine form unleashed.

Everyone around watched stunned as her eyes turned completely red before that redness was absorbed by her pupils, her face face turned a darkest shade of blue like poison while the other half remained bruised and battered. Her eyes blazed with anger,  a huge curved blade appeared in her hand.

The sabha quivered in fear as they watched her form glow before she converted a huge ball of aura and those balls divided in five different balls of energies as they floated in the air, from each ball of aura appeared a goddess.

Five angry goddess glared at the sabha, "The five pandavas are the avatars of five gods you all know this, than how did you think that Draupadi was just a human. You all have called upon your deaths, you all have created your own path to death!" Krishn's voice thundered throughout the sabha making everyone quiver in fear as the five goddess growled and breathed heavily fury clouding their senses. . .
