Chapter 53
"What is happening Madhav?" Arjun asked worry creeping in his voice, Krishn sighed as he looked up from where he sat on the bed next to his sakhi, his hand patting her head. "Stay strong sakhi." He whispered, his voice barely above a whisper as he gulped, his eyes met with Arjun's who had tears flowing down his cheeks.
"What was that Madhav? What we saw in Madhavgadh?!" He questioned, fear and confusion lacing his voice as he stepped forward and lowered himself in front of Krishn, who put his hand on the head of his cousin. "To understand the present at times we need to understand the past, what you saw today my priy Paarth was the astral form of your wife, Panchaali as you know is the fire born and holds some special power since the day she was born, however she was unaware. After she returned to Panchaali one such power was activated and that was her astral form projection, at nights when she would sleep she would move out of her body in astral form, poor her thought that it was just her dreams. One night she crossed a boundary that she shouldn't have, she crossed the veil between the alive and dead. And entered in the world of deads, our body is nothing but a vessel priy pandavas that holds our souls but it's a vessel that most of the deads crave, what Panchaali can do not all of us can. She's special but often being special comes with a prize. Her crossing that veil was like an invitation to all those evil and good souls to enter her body. And for that opportunity they could do anything, that day I was successful getting her back, however it wasn't just her who had crossed the veil with her and entered this world, many evil souls had too, they had slaughtered many innocents that day, and that guilt was too heavy on her little heart, so much so that she begged me I kill her, or she would herself, I offered her the third resort that I would suppress all those powers she has. And that's what I did, separation from you all plus the guilt was too much for her little heart. So much so that she was afraid to sleep, that's how she wasn't able to sleep at night, she was afraid but now that she has you her fear eased away." He finished the tale as he looked at his friend, poor girl had been through so much and there was yet so much to come.
The pandavas were stunned in silence, as they looked at their girl who lay unconscious, her chest moving up and down with each breath she took, reassuring them that she was still fine but the question was for how long would she be.
"So you're saying that because that fear vanished the seal that you put on her magic disappeared and she crossed the veil again?" Sahadev asked as he looked at Vasudev, trying to understand, "things would have been way easier if that was the case, but the seal that I put could not be broken by her." He whispered, his face an emotionless mask as he continued to pat the head of his sakhi, he didn't look up. It didn't take for the pandavas to connect the dots, "so what you're saying is that someone else broke that seal Vasudev? And who would do that?" Nakul asked looking at Krishn, "whoever did it, didn't know what they were doing. Someone sent an evil spirit to kill Draupadi but when the spirit sensed that she was an astral projector, instead of killing her they took her across the veil so after the full moon tomorrow they could take complete possession of her body, what they didn't expect was for Panchaali's astral body to be so strong, strong enough to protect your offsprings in her womb. But that energy won't last long, we need to get her back faster or she'll be forever lost in the realm of dead." Vasudev's voice was grave, his words laced with fear as he continued to look at his sakhi. "If she's being held back by the spirits there than how was she able to appear in Madhavgadh? And Why not come and meet me I was right here?" Sahadev asked, a sob breaking free from his mouth, this was not how he had planned the day to go, this was not what he had ever imagined situations for her to be.
"When you guys protected her from the Yamraj you merged your souls with hers, so that enabled her to get to you faster and easier, she didn't come to you Sahadev was to protect you because for that evil spirit to reach Madhavgadh would take more energy and time as she's dead, doesn't belong to this realm and has no connection with any soul here, however it would have been easier for that soul to reach this room where she had already come many times before, she would have had enough energy to harm you and take her back. However when that spirit reached Madhavgadh it didn't have enough energy to harm any pandavas, just had enough to hold them back." Krishn explained, his soothing rhythm of caressing her head still continuing as he looked at his Sakhi, "So can't you bring her back?" Yudhisthir asked, tears glazing his eyes, "her connection to your souls prevents any other soul to touch hers in the astral world as your bonds to her are strongest, it doesn't matter if the soul is good or bad, its a disadvantage and an advantage too, this means I can't get her but it also means those evil souls can't touch her there yet, once the new moon is over they'll be the strongest and would be able to break that bond from every part of Panchaali, her womb too." He whispered, his words making the pandavas freeze as dread sipped in her heart, "how do we get her back?" Bheem asked, his voice broken, "You need to cross the realms, you need to astral project yourself in that world. Panchaali since born out of fire, the one who destroys every evil and good, could easily cross over because her source of life is the unlimited energy of fire, but you all too are the ansh of gods, you need to channelise that piece of dev in you, bring it out, it will give you the energy to kill the evils across the realm and get your wife and three kids back." Krishn explained, "three?" Nakul asked confused, "with Panchaali her every ansh in this world would be extinguished, that means the moment Panchaali was pulled across the realm so was Prativindh, to Mata Kunti he would be looking like sleeping but actually he's a prisoner of the dark world too." The words cut through the hearts of pandavas, "When you reach there you will have to find four people, first would be Prativindh, second your son, the elder twin, third would be your daughter, the your younger twin, and fourth your wife. They all would be kept prisoner in the four different directions of the dark realm, your time is limited and the distance too long. Remember not every spirit there is bad." Krishn instructed, "Won't the twins be in her womb?" Arjun asked confused, "No, your bonds with her have separated the astral body of the twins from your wife, so they could protect them in different aura balls, keeping them from every evil, hence you saw that golden dust around her womb, when Yudhisthir touched her astral form, his soul recognised her pain had hence the glamour broke and all her pain was revealed to him, when she fell and you all caught her your souls based a stronger connection with her and your children and began the process of separating your every ansh from her, to keep it safe with your auras. Similar thing is happening to Prativindh, the good news is that the evil spirits are not aware of where your souls have hidden your children. But that won't be the case for long, hence we need to hurry. But you need to remember one thing, after you get all three kids, you need to find Panchaali and directly get here, no wasting time, no staying there, no looking back." Krishn said, the five nodded, their faces a mask of determination, no way in hell are they gonna loose their family, they'll get them back.
"How would we know where Panchaali and our kids are across the veil?" Arjun questioned looking at his friend, "your souls would guide you there, across the realm and to them, trust your instincts because that is all you have there against the evil of that world, be careful of all the illusions, you're instincts would tell you whom to trust and whom not too, not all what you see there would be real, no matter what happens don't get separated." Krishna reminded sternly, his eyes looking at each pandav in the eyes, he wanted them to understand the seriousness of this situation. The pandavas nodded, ready to bring their family back to them forever. . .
