Lauren Elizabeth Tanner was born November 10th, 1980, in Santa Fe New Mexico. Lauren grew up in a middle class family. She got her big break when her drama instructor saw talent and thought she would do well trying Broadway. At age 15 she starred in a Broadway production of The Little Mermaid as the sea witch Ursula. 

This began her reign of Hollywood fame. Since then, Lauren has become one of the hottest movie, television and stage actresses over the past 20 years of her career. She won an award for Best Actress for her work in The Paper Plane in 2015.

Lauren now is a full-time actress in both movies and television shows. She is very wealthy and lives in Beverly Hills.

She has one daughter.
