I watched everyone around me talk and do their own thing. I was eating vanilla ice cream, and I ignored it, even though I knew that the sweet treat would end up melting in my warm hand.

I felt really left out, watching as Jenos and Imani flirted with each other (even though they probably had more important things to do), and a ninja suddenly sat himself next to me.

"You gonna eat that?"

He says, and I stared at him.

It was Koga.

"W-What?"

I said, feeling laughter rising from me at his comment.

The white haired ninja was still eyeing the food in my hand with his dark eyes.

He ignored my question.

"So..."

He said, looking up at me now,

"I guess I'll eat it, can't let food go to waste."

Koga leaned forward, and licked the ice cream, gripping my wrist with a gentle hand.

"Yum. You probably should've gotten sprinkles with it though. Kinda bland of you ask me, Y/N."

He said, licking his lips, and I laughed.

"You're so cute, also - what kind of greeting was that?"

I said, between breaths of laughter.

"I don't know, but seeing you laugh makes me happy."

He says, and he hugs me.
