Eagle Eye was shaking as she entered the room, feeling the burning gazes of all the other people that were definitely more experienced than her.

She was new to the army, and she already had a pretty bad feeling about the whole thing.

Eagle Eye lined up alongside a tall male, who glanced at her out of the corner of his eye, and then turned to her, smiling.

"Hey, I'm Koga! Are you new to the army?"

"Y-Yeah..."

She mumbled under her breath, and Koga smiled softly, patting Eagle Eye on the back.

"It's not that bad once you get used to it. Besides, we have a famous commander! Oh, here she is!"

Koga said, pointing to an armored angel who entered the room.

"W-Woah...  There's no way!! She's the Battlesuit Angel??!"

Eagle Eye said in awe, and Koga laughed awkwardly, rubbing his neck.

"Yeah.. But.. She's not as amazing as you'd think though-"

"And what was that, Koga?"

A voice said next to Eagle Eye, and Koga visibly jumped a little in his spot.

"U-Uh, nothing, Battlesuit Angel!"

"Mhm. That's what I thought."

Eagle Eye snuck a quick glance at the Angel, who was looking straight at her.

"Hello there, Eagle Eye, right?"

The angel said, and Eagle Eye nodded frantically.

"Yes! That's me! And I've heard so much about you, I want to be as great as you one day!"

The words tumbled out of her mouth like a waterfall, and Battlesuit Angel chuckled, patting Eagle Eye on the head.

"Maybe one day, kiddo. You just gotta start training, y'know?"

"Yes! I promise to make you proud..!"

A few years later. . .

Eagle Eye was perched on a high building, on a major mission.

She had never forgotten about her promise that she made to her idol years ago.

*Battlesuit Angel is watching me.. I need to make her proud of me...*

Eagle Eye thought, as she zoomed into her scope, aiming at the target she was to eliminate.

She was silent, and then pulled the trigger.

Got them.

Suddenly, Eagle Eye's headset piece was filled with the sound of Battlesuit Angel congratulating her.

"You did it, Eagle Eye! I knew you could do it!"

*I'm glad I could make you proud of me, Angel.*
