Beautiful.
~Chapter-2~
The car ride to Misul's apartment was silent. Misul was trying to think of all possible ways to get Jeon Jungkook and Jimin was thinking about something else.
They reached her home, Jimin stops the car and looks at her.
"Hey Sis, I know that I said you were stupid but now that I think again, you did the right thing. He was underestimating you. You go and kick his ass!"
Misul looks back at her brother, no matter how much they fight they still got each other's back. "That means a lot, Chim. Thanks."
They both smile, warmly.
Jimin felt proud. He knew that his sister would kick anybody's ass. She was a strong woman.
"Alright, I'm gonna go. Gotta sleep. It's screwed up already so why waste the night."
They laugh.
Just when Misul opens the car door to get out,she gets stopped by Jimin's voice.
"Oh and there's an important thing about Jungkook. He's really difficult-
"OH. Would you look at the time. It's so late. I don't want senior professors shouting at my brother for being late."
She jumps out of car and shuts the door without hearing what Jimin was going to say.
"Good night, Chim!"
.
Jimin sees Misul dashing into her house. He shakes his head. "Stupid." And starts the engine.
.
.
Misul listens to the sound of his car engine running. He is gone, now. Last thing she wanted was her only ray of hope getting crushed after that. She wanted to stay as positive as she could. She did not want to lose the job. The one she had worked so hard on for two years.
Working in a company where you're the most hated employee and that too because your father's rich and you're just too good at your job. Her life in a nutshell. But she doesn't bother thinking about that. She believes it's just not worth it.
.
Misul walked towards her kitchen. Her house was decent. It was big enough to fit two people. Cream colored exterior walls with biscuit colored gable roofs and high arched windows on three of the walls giving perfect view of the surroundings and the fourth wall facing the backyard. Her house situated at the center of the city, it was near an elevated road. Which meant that it was rarely quiet but she liked that.
She was never a fan of silence. She was life of the party, always making friends and being able to talk to strangers so easily was one of her specialties. However, those friends never stayed.
Being a good judge of character sometimes became a curse for her, she never got true friends. She shooed them all when she found out their true colors. She had a big self-respect, no matter how badly she needed a friend she would never put herself down for any one.
So, she decided to live in the center of the city where new people come every other day. This way she could quench her thirst of socializing without getting hurt for getting closer to the fake ones.
But at the end of the day...
She was still alone.
And she never realized that.

Her house was clean, considering she was always out but now for three months she was going to 'work from home'.
After taking some warm shower, she changed into her comfy beige colored pajamas which was twice her size. Jimin always made fun of her saying that she looked like a bear whenever she wore those pajamas.
And she always ended up reminding him that it was him who bought those pajamas for her. That shut him up.
"Huh. Work from home?" She talked to her reflection in the dressing mirror. She could imagine how exhausting it was going to be, finding an Artist was not easy.
A part of her regretted accepting the deal with her Boss but then a big part of her knew that standing up against his petty remarks was something that needed to be done.
"UGH!"
She lets out a cry of frustration and yeets herself to her bed, messing up her hair and legs kicking the air frustratingly.
She was frustrated.
*ping*
The notification sound makes Misul sit straight on her bed, interrupting all the thoughts swimming in her head. It was Jimin. He had sent her some links.
Jimin
Everything that I could find out about Jeon Jungkook is in this file.
10:38 P.M.
Meet me at the cafe tomorrow morning.
10:39 P.M.
Me
Alright.
Good night.
10:39 P.M.
Misul takes out her laptop, pulling all her hair backwards she ties her hair in a tight bun. Sitting on her sofa with her legs crossed and perfect back posture, she lifts her arms and swings them back and forth. Making weird noise along with it, this was her way of warming-up.
"Let's GOO!"
She opens the link. Scrolling down, there were some interviews on the first few pages. She skipped a few minutes of introduction. The host was asking some questions to him.
"So what got you into painting, Jungkook-ssi?"
Jungkook smiles before answering," My Hyung. He's an amazing Artist himself."
Misul listened to every word he said, very carefully. However, at the same time, she couldn't keep her eyes off of him.
He was beautiful.
An art himself. She found herself smitten by him. The way he talked so sincerely about his drawings and art works. The way his honey dripped voice sounded like music to her ears. His body proportions were the most perfect thing she had ever seen. His face...he was...
"Handsome." She mumbles to herself, completing her thoughts by saying it out loud.
He was nothing like how Jimin said. And he was definitely not a sad-grumpy faced person.
Misul was never the type to keep her feelings hidden. She was always the one who confessed. Whenever she got teased about confessing to the boy first by her 'friends', she would defend herself by saying, 'If I like a boy, I won't just sit and be pretty while pathetically waiting for him to make the first move. I'll fight for him.'
After watching a few interviews, she got the idea that he was a passionate Artist. But she still had to check out his paintings.
She clicked the next page. And oh boy...
It felt like her eyes fell off. Everything around her turned dark and the only light, a very bright light, was coming from her laptop's screen. She was enchanted by what she was looking at. His paintings...
"They are Amazing." Misul was amazed.
His paintings were so beautiful. The way he had given the small details their own place to shine. The way his paintings felt so real. Such an imagery used to paint, the colors chosen and everything about his paintings was just perfect.
One had a bird with its wings spreading. The artwork done on its wings was so good that it could captivate anyone who would lay their eyes on the painting. Beautiful hues of burnt orange and fiery red were chosen to makes the painting more alluring. It made the painting so intriguing. The colors were so bright yet the feeling it was giving was so calm.
The other one looked like a riddle to Misul. Paint was just spread all over the canvas. The color palette chosen was so odd. It was a mixture of warm and bright colors. Winter and Summer. Day and Night. It was screaming in silence. The pain was so strong. She felt her chest hurting. She quickly changed the page, not being able to look at it anymore.
The next painting was just too simple but it felt so warm. If one could ever paint happiness, it would be this painting. Summer colors were chosen. It seemed like when he painted this painting he was happy.
His every painting was a masterpiece. All of his painting were so different yet all of them had one thing in common.
Each was telling a story. A story so different from another. Misul felt like she was looking into some of the most vulnerable moment's of a person's life. She felt flustered yet she wanted to know more. She wanted to keep looking at them, admiring and feeling amazed by them.
And at this moment, she knew that Jeon Jungkook was who she needed.
"I found the Artist, I was looking for." She smiles to herself oblivious to the troubles she is going to get into to actually find the artist she is looking for.
Clicking on the 'Back to Start' option, her eyes fall on the date written at the article.
