♥️♥️♥️

Chuu was dragging him through the streets in front of the rest of the group. The girl was wearing high hells with her black jeans and white top so he had no idea how she was able to move that well and that fast, but then again, it was Chuu.

The most popular girl in their highschool, the nice queen bee everyone loved.

He remembered exacly how they had met, the first time they saw each other when he moved to his best friend's school.

He had just been introduced to Felix and Changbin, and the later had a crush on some girl at the time, talking about her and pointing at the group near the lockers without noticing the way Felix's eyes became watery before he fled to the bathroom.

"You see the one with the dark hair? That's Chuu, she's the popular girl, you know, like THE one.", Changbin chuckled. "The one next to her-"

"Is his crush, he has a thing for foreigners, her name is Maya and she came from America." Hyunjin rolled his eyes as he spoke.

Jisung nodded, seeing Felix fiddle with his fingers a bit.

"God she's the one." Changbin had sighed, loosing at the girls."I just know it, look at her, and she's so nice, I barely can speak English and she barely speaks Korean but we understand each other so-" his bestfriend turned next to him, a tear falling down his face only for Jisung to see before he started walking away, clearly wanting to run but not in the mood to cause a scene. "Lix?"

He got no answer.

"You're an idiot. Am actual idiot."

The shorter turned to Hyunjin, who had an arm thrown over Jisung's shoulder, with a confused expression.

"What did I do?"

"Unbelievable. I'm going to him."

Changbin gulped as his friend left him and the new kid alone, but Jisung was already patting his shoulder.

"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get it eventually."

"Even you? I don't know what I do, Felix just sometimes gets like this. God, I hate it.", he pouted but his eyes showed how serious he was. "It's getting more frequent and I don't know what I can do to help it."

"Maybe don't talk so much about your girl crush in front of him, you know?"

The shorter tilted his head, visibility confused, and Jisung wanted to spank his new friend. He hadn't known the freckled boy for that long as well, but he could see how tired and broken he was of holding the obvious feelings.

"But, Why?"

Jisung sighed.

"Figure that out yourself."

When Felix had came back by lunchtime, Changbin was still dense, and he would be dense for a whole other year, but he still ran to his best friend's arms and hugged him life his life depended on it. They sat together next to Hyunjin and Felix and talked in whispers, this time ending up Changbin with tears running down his face that Felix cleaned before they hugged again, not letting go of each other, Changbin's head buried in the taller's neck for the rest of the lunch period.

Jisung chuckled at the memory, then frowning at how fast he had forgotten about the first one.

He furrowed his eyebrows.

He was supposed to recall how he met Chuu, not how he realized those two were in love.

He shook his head as the girl pulled him more to the restaurant they had booked, letting Hyunjin do the speaking and sitting with the couple on one side and the girl on the other.

They spoke and ate, laughed and Hyunjin and Chuu even united strenght for a second to make fun of Jisung, which made him chuckle a bit, but in reality warmed his heart.

He also never understood why Hyunjin didn't like her that much. It was like after they began talking, because of a very cliche basketball practise and a spilled drink, he had suddenly looked at the girl differently.

Jisung was living the highschool dream, captain of the team that brought the most prizes to the school and dating the cheerleader that everyone wanted and loved even after they graduated.

And yet, none of his friends seemed to look at him like he was living that dream.

It was like they doubted something about their relationship, and Jisung felt terrible about it.

He glanced over at her, remembering the words that had twisted his stomach before.

He wanted to.

He wanted to lose his virginity with her.

But he had backed away time after time, and she had stayed, and been patient.

What the hell was wrong with him?

For the rest of the day they walked through some bridges and gardens, Felix and Changbin making him almost puke, though, even if he wouldn't admit it, he was the happiest that they ended up like that.

He met them in their freshman year in highschool, and their feelings were already strong from the four years they knew each other for before that.

Felix was always in pain because of that.

Jisung saw the shorter talk about a bunch of different girls before him and Felix got into their fight, because the taller could not handle it anymore.

Jisung remembered the screams, the tears, the way Felix finally told him, no. The way Felix finally shouted at his face that he had been in love with him for years and that all he did say after day was tell him about other people, girls.

He remembered the tears flooding down Changbin's eyes when Felix left the party they were at, the way everyone stayed quiet as he broke down, Hyunjin being the first one to catch him and drag him away from the crowds.

It took both of them a week to be able to look at each other again.

"Bin?"

Jisung squeezed Felix's hand and nodded, making him sigh. The shorter turned around, his smile faltering at the sigh and tumbling a bit backwards against the locker. Maya was there next to him and Hyunjin, the girl looked between the two, remembering what had happened and bit her lip, to which Jisung rolled his eyes.

"Lix...", it came as a whisper, and even though the girl tried to speak, obviously to say shit, Felix was faster.

"Look, I'm sorry about that whole Friday thing, ok? I just can't deal with you ignoring me forever so like... I don't know... just pretend I didn't say anything an-"

He never finished what they had rehearsed, since his bestfriend broke down into tears and completely threw himself against Felix.

The taller was more than surprised, but embraced the shorter back and pulled him closer, tears staring to fall down his eyes as well.

After that, they had decided to let go and slowly reconstruct their friendship, because Changbin eas straight, but didn't want to lose Felix.

That was until their prom.

When Felix got a pair, a boy from another class, and Changbin ended the night pulling his bestfriend outside and shamelessly kissing him, a sigh Jisung wished he had not seen when he was going for some fresh air.

A week later they were dating, and now Changbin was there, looking at his bestfriend who he swore would never love back since he was straight, with sparkling eyes and happier than he had ever been.

Jisung found himself looking at Chuu, wandering when he would be able to look at her that way, give himself to her the way she wanted, commit.

Why on earth did he still have that feeling, that something was not right, even after 8 months?

He didn't think he could feel more confused or sad through the whole day, hating himself for kind of ignoring everyone as they walked, his girlfriend too busy just taking pictures to pressure him into talking for which he thanked.

Hyunjin knew he was lost in thought. He knew his best friend better than anyone in the world. Maybe even better than himself, but he also knew there was no use to try and talk to him that day.

They had dinner out as well, since as just graduated students, they had been working their asses off to be able to afford a good trip, so they could go broke all they wanted. After that, Chuu intertwined their fingers, shooting him a tired smile and they walked together, the five of them through the streets.

Hyunjin stopped by Chan's van to talk to him, saying there was no need to go with them since they were two couples and he would prefer eating an icecream than being a third wheel.

Jisung laughed humorously and pulled the others in front, his stomach tingling a bit at the though of seeing Minho and Seungmin again.

His day was a bit better as soon as he remembered the mysterious artist, and the other three followed him without questioning.

"Oh, look at the view, it's so pretty! Jisung let's take a picture!", Chuu smiled with the smile she had, that could light up the nigh, and Felix took his phone out, but Jisung had froze.

The view to the river was pretty, but empty.

Where the hell were them?

Jisung could see it as a ghost.

The paintings on the floor, the canvas, the childreen going around, the couples pointing at the man.

Now it was just floor, and an empty bench.

Where were them?

"I'm assuming I'll see you again."

Wasn't that what he said? Or something like that?

Did he not mean it?

Jisung sighed, putting on a fake smile to take a picture with his girlfriend, even though all he could think about was the man he had met the day before.

Why?
