( Finally managed to draw Painite digitally. )

Basically this is an OVA which is like an episode or in this case chapter that isn't related to the plot or the main storyline of the book. This might be shorter than the usual ones. By the way, this takes place after the events of "Change Your Mind" so this isn't canon...or is it? You can make this canon if you want, I don't care.

Your POV

Everything here in Earth is shit! Kobe Bryant and her daughter Gianna died fron the helicopter crash, Durant is infected with Corona and we haven't heard of him since. Four dumbass pieces of shits who calls themselves "police" killed a black man named George Floyd causing to spark riots all over the States.

The association called Anonymous Legion revealed themselves and showed Trumps history of being a pedophile.....a.....fucking.....pedophile, now I don't really care if I have a friend that's black or gay or bisexual.

But I can't stand if it someone is hating them or getting them in trouble because of it. Everyone is supposed to stay indoors but all of them are on the streets in riots. The Diamonds along with their Pearls visited Earth but the Lockdown happened and the Government won't let them leave, why would they not let them leave?! We have no choice and we don't want any trouble with them.

I was in my chamber checking out what is happening in the States in the console and the same shit happens over and over again, a lot of black people have been killed for hundred of years here on Earth and it's about time to give them what they deserve, their rights! They're humans too and they deserve to be treated as people, not cattle and cannon fodder.

I sighed deeply and I rubbed my temples and turned off the console and jumped on my bed where Blue was, and yeah all three of the Diamond are with me, they didn't actually feel comfortable with what they were wearing so they changed their clothes and theh shapeshifted to my size. Blue made her hair shorter which is very suitable for her and she looks very......cute and pretty. The off-shoulder sweater makes it even better.

Blue Diamond: Are there riots, still?

Y/N: *groans* It can't be helped, I mean they have the right to be mad, Blue. After years of being treated like animals they finally snapped.

Blue Diamond: Even I wouldn't do that to gems, that feels...wrong in so many ways, how can other humans do this? It kind of reminds me of...myself...

I sat up and looked at Blue with a concerned face.

Blue Diamond: I treated gems badly because of the mistakes, mistakes that you can simply let it slide, Painite. I treated those who are different and those who insulted me and embarrassed me in my court badly and I shatter them...I'm no different than-

I went closer to her and I gave her a kiss which she immediately stopped talking and melted into the kiss, she cupped both of her hands to my cheek and kissed me even deeper. I broke the kiss and I gave her a hug and she rested her head against me as I brush her soft hair using my hand.

Y/N: Don't tell that to yourself, Blue. You aren't like them. The difference is that you felt bad when you did those things, you regretted the decisions you made and wished that you can take them back but can't because you must set an example. I know that everytime that you shatter a gem you would cry for days to come They do it because they want to and because the ones they inflict damage on are a different kind of person. You are so much better than them and you know that, don't compare yourself, a goddess, to these pieces of shit.

She looked up at me and she smiled and I smiled back and she gave me a quick kiss on the lips.

Blue Diamond: You really are an embodiment of a Star.

Then Yellow came in holding two mugs of coffee wearing a robe and her gem exposed, her hair is longer and she looks so comfortable. I got out of the bed, stood up and walked over to Yellow and gave her a quick kiss on the lips before taking the mug from her.

Yellow Diamond: Humans at it again with the riots, Painite?

Y/N: Unfortunately...yes.

Yellow Diamond: Ugh, why can't they just let it go? I mean, that's just one human.

Y/N: Okay, hear me out, okay?

Yellow Diamond: I'm listening.

Y/N: Good, you can see he's black, right?

Yellow Diamond: Yes, I can see that.

Y/N: In your knowledge, what do some white people do with black people?

Yellow Diamond: Treat them like lower species?

Y/N: Correct. Now what color skin are most of the people that you see in the riots?

Yellow Diamond: Black humans- Oh...I see.

Y/N: Exactly, they finally couldn't take it anymore, the Americans have been treating them like animals and that is unacceptable. Not only that, gems are treated like monsters here too.There are many more gems in Earth than I thought, some of them even joined the protests. I might even consider joining but it's not my fight. They can handle it.

Then White came in, she was wearing a very cozy sweater, her hairstyle is still the same but smaller looking, I bet every clothes you can throw at her she would still look good.

White Diamond: It's something that we shouldn't get involved with, it's the human's fight, not ours.

Y/N: Maybe...

I walked out of my room along with the three Diamond back into the temple and saw almost everyone at Steven's room watching TV showing the news. All four of us walked to where the others are and I set down my mug on the table.

Steven: Hey, Y/N.

Y/N: Hey, kid. So what's happening? Fill me in.

Steven: Not good, a police unit kept attacking peaceful protestors and shooting tear gas at them. Good thing there aren't any bad things happening in Beach City for now.

Y/N: Good thing indeed.

Then the TV is showing live footage of the protests in Los Angeles, lots of people in chaos and anarchy. The police are now allowed to use live rounds, some still use pellets but there are those who are now using live rounds. The camera panned to one of the protestors and I saw a gem trying to run away from the cops but they surrounded her and they started beating her up brutally and I can hear her screams of pain. A few more pained screams she poofed and a police almost cushed the gem but someone quicly grabbed it and ran away with it.

Pearl was disgusted to what they were doing to the gem, Garnet was crying and she couldn't bear to watch it, Steven and Amethyst looked away, Fable closed her eyes and Lonely Pearl was curled up like a ball, both Yellow and Blue Zircon were looking at the TV with sympathy, concern and pity in their eyes.

Peridot held my left hand and she looked up at me, Lapis is looking down, her hair covering her eyes, all Diamonds are in disbelief and both Yellow and Blue Pearl looked at me with a scared and worried look while I clenched my right fist. And then all of them looked st me with a scared look.

Pearl: Y/N?

Amethyst: Dude, you alright?

Y/N: Stay here, lock the doors and don't let anyone in. I have a place to go.

I walked away leaving flaming footprints on the floor and I opened the door and slammed it shut making the entire house shake. I am heading to Los Angeles and help them. I summomed my wings and I took to the skies.

I need to arrive there as soon as I can, so I boosted myself using my flames propelling me forward leaving a trail of flames in the air and making me fly even faster, as fast as a rocket actually.

Timeskip; Fifteen minutes later

I am now flying over the riots of the state of Los Angeles, everything is in total chaos. I kept flying over the city as I saw where the protestors are, they are all running away from the cops that are shooting both pellets and live rounds at them.

Some of the protestors are gems and one of the gems are down on their knees with a gun pointed at her head, she was crying for help and her friends are begging the cop to stop. I retracted my wings and dropped down, as I was nearing to the ground, I used my flames and used them as thrusters to slow my descent and it did, I landed on the ground in front of the police and I stood up and looked at him and shot him a deadly gaze.

In sheer panic, he kept shooting at me with pellets, it stings but I don't care, I walked towards the police and reared back my hand and gave him a gut punch sending him to to one of the buildings.

I turned to the one on my right and lifted my hand and blasted a stream of flame him, then I dodged the bullets that the one idiot on my right again and blasted him too. I quickly turn around and lifted both of my arms and kneeled forward by a bit and blasted the police. The attacks weren't lethal but strong enough to incapacitate them.

I walked back to the same gem that was held at gunpoint, I offered my hand to her and she took it and I pulled her up and she finally got to her feet. I went in front of all of the the protestors.

Y/N: I know you all know who I am, but that isn't important right now. I came here to join you for the fight.

Then the crowd started cheering and I smiled lightly before going back to my serious demeanor.

Y/N: But to be honest with you all, I wasn't planning to get involved in this type of thing. Us gems, we don't interfere or get involve with the human's problems. But if one of us got dragged into these problems, there will be a counterattack. I found out that gems are also being discriminated for centuries here on Earth. Why? Because of what they look like, what they can do, their features and most of all, the color of their skin! Not just gems, every other race here in this planet! Black people, Chinese, Filipino, Muslims and all other races you can think of! This protest isn't only about giving Black Lives their rights! This protest right here is for all of the races that the United States has been discriminating! Not just human but also gems! No longer we will let them control us, it is time that we unite and bring down the corrupt system and bring forth a new and fair system! It is time that we all unite! This isn't just about Black Lives anymore! This protest right here, is to show that we are people! People with a mind! People with feeling! People with understanding! People with...a soul. We will show them that we have had enough and we will no longer stand by as we watch one of our own suffer! Let us all UNITE!!!

Then the crowd cheered and I smiled lightly again, I looked back and saw a police unit heading towards us, this is a peaceful protest and I will keep it that way, but if anything bad happens we will fight back. And so I focused my mind and a clone of myself appeared in front of me holding a riot shield of their own, then more of them started appearing and all of them are blocking the way and they deployed their shields.

The unit tried to break through but to no avail, we didn't budge. They tried shooting the shields, the shields are thick and bulletproof. They tried using tear gas but it doesn't work on us. I am currently in front of the entire protestors watching the police unit attempting to break through the defence. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder and I looked and saw the same gem that was held gunpoint.

Gem: That was a very nice to do, thank you.

Y/N: I'm happy to help, glad you're not hurt.

Gem: Say............are by any chance called Painite?

Y/N: Yes, that's me. Why?

Gem: I-it's an honor to meet you. M-my name is Bixbite.

Timeskip

A few days passed and the riots raged on. Word spred out like a pandemic about me joining the fight, I ordered my clones to go all over the States and help with the peaceful protests, and I gave them the permission that if they are being hit, they are allowed to hit back. That day I was known a hero, but I'm no hero. I am just a guy, who wants to help other people with their problems. For that is what I am made for.

Hey you beautiful people. Hope you are doing fine. If you're wondering why I'm doing this is because I want to support the peaceful protests in the States, sadly I can't join. But at least I wanted Painite to stand with them. I know that Painite isn't real but I wanted him to be a character to do what's right and influence people in doing the right thing, I want him to stand with the protestors and support the Black Lives Matter movement which he did.
