Your POV

I popped my head behind a corner and made sure that there's no gem in sight. I ran to the other side and saw a platoon coming, I signaled the Off Colors and Lars to stay put, when they passed by Padparadscha came running to me.

Padparadscha: Be careful! A platoon is coming!

Y/N: *chuckles* You know your late reaction is sometimes funny and cute.

Padparadscha: *blushes* Oh my, such a charmer he is. He complimented my flaw.

Y/N: *chuckles* Come on. Stay behind me.

Then the others followed and we kept running through the empty halls of Homeworld until we reached the docking area. There were a lot of ships there but I had one particular in mind......my ship.

I pulled out the homing device and the ship will arrive in a moment, I can't wait for it any longer.

Y/N: Lars come here.

Lars: What is it?

Y/N: In case my ship doesn't arrive in time, find a ship. A fast one. *notices a fast ship that just landed* like that one

I pointed to one of the ship that just landed and I looks like it came from an Emerald's fleet. I gestured Lars to come with me and sneak into the ship. I opened the ship's door.

Then at the moment that Lars was about to enter, Emerald showed up

She didn't notice Lars but I immediately told him to scatter and abandon the ship. He hid just behind the ship and I acted naturally, then Emerald made her way near me.

Emerald: What are you doing here?

Y/N: Daily monitoring of the Docking area. Have a problem with that?

Emerald: No! I meant what are you doing here? You not even supposed to be here! Get back in the Combatants Area.

Y/N: *arms crossed* Have you been under a damn rock?

Emerald: What do you mean?

Y/N: I mean I have clearance and the authority to do whatever I want and whenever I want to do it.

Emerald: I don't believe a word you say. Where's your proof?

I jusy looked at her with a deadpan expression and I pulled out the Diamond line in my gem.
I dialed Yellow's line and it took a few moments to be picked up. Then the line was picked up and I saw Yellow Pearl.

Yellow Pearl: This is the Yellow Diamond Control Room.

Y/N: Hello Pearl, can you get Yellow on the line, please?

Yellow Pearl: Just a moment Painite. My Diamond? Painite wishes to speak with you. Shall I put you in the line?

Then the line was given to Yellow Diamond and it showed Yellow while she is working.

Yellow Diamond: What is Painite?

Y/N: Can you clarify to Emerald here about my clearance and authority?

Emerald: My Diamond, I don't believe a word he says. He is walking aeound the Docking Area doing a Daily Monitoring.

Yellow Diamond: It's because it's his task. He is now the same ranking as us and he has clearance for anything. You better watch your attitude on how you speak with him. I have to go now. I have many things to do.

Y/N: Thank you Yellow. Good bye for now.

Then the Diamond line was hung up and I put it back in my gem, then I noticed that Emerald was sweating heavily and she immediately slauted and bowed down.

Emerald: Forgive me for my ignorance! Please don't shatter me!

Y/N: I am not shattering anyone, and I understand that you didn't know because probably you are too busy handling your fleet. And that's probably a lot of stress.

Emerald: Th-thank you.

Y/N: Right. Now that's out of the way, nice ship. This one can reach over 3,000 knots in over drive, right?

Emerald: Y-yeah.

Y/N: Nice, I have one too.

Emerald: Okay.............well?

Y/N: Well what?

Emerald: Where is it?

Y/N: Oh right. *pulls out the homing device* It'll be here in 3...2...1...here it is.

Then the ship landed in front of us making a Emerald stare in shock at the marvelous ship.

Emerald: Oh my Stars! This ship is beautiful! How fast can it go in overdrive?

Y/N: 4,000? Or is it 4,500? Yeah it's 4,500 knots.

Emerald: That is fast! Very fast!

Then she was twiddling her fingers while pouting and she had a small blush on her face.

Emerald: *inaudible mumbling*

Y/N: What's that?

Emerald: Can I pilot your ship?

Y/N: *chuckles* Maybe later, but I promise I'll let you pilot it.

Emerald: YES! Thank you.

Y/N: No problem. Can I walk you to your quarters? M'lady?

Emerald: *blushes* Why I would love to, Painite.

Then we both just laughed it off and I walked with her to her quarters, turns out her quarters are just inside the Docking area so when she was sent in a mission, she wouldn't have the trouble walking around in far places.

As we reached her quarters I looked back and signaled the Off Colors to enter my ship. Then they all went inside the ship but the door was jammed.

Emerald: Thanks for not shattering me. Can we......hang out sometimes?

Y/N: Sure. It won't hurt. Besides, I like making new friends.

Emerald: *chuckles* Good luck out there, Painite.

Y/N: And good luck on your future missions Emerald.

Then as the Off Colors are forcing the door open, then the door automatically opened and the Off Colors that are forcing the door open accidentally pulled too hard making a loud crash of metal on the floor.

Emerald was about to turn around, I have to think fast. I need her to attention to stay on me, but how? I had no time left so I did what I had to do. Just before she was about to see the Off Colors. I cupped her cheeks and turned her head towards me and I kissed her.

Her eyes widened and she had a large blush on her face. She pulled back with a shocked and deep green face. Then without warning she kissed back and I immediately melted into the kiss.

I opened my eyes and signaled the Off Colors to get inside the ship and they did. Emerald was still trying to keep me from going, I broke the kiss and I went to my ship. But before I entered the ship, I lookes back and Emerald was waving me farewell. I smiled and I waved back.

Then I entered the ship and immediately went to the main controls and the ship took off. Rhodonite was checking the engine, the Rutile Twins are managing the over drive, and Padparadscha was monitoring the ship's hull. Fluorite was just sitting in a corner smiling.

Y/N: Is everyone here?

Fluorite: Here...

Rhodonite: Here!

Rutile Twins: Here!

Padparadscha: We need to move quickly!

Y/N: Ok. What about Lars- OH SHIT!!! WE FORGOT LARS!!!

Then we haven't even left Homeworld yet, someone triggered the unauthorized take off. Then I realized that the ship was Emerald's and I alreadg knew who eas piloting it. It was Lars.

Then I pressed the Merge Ships to attach Lar's ship to mine. And it was successful, I opened the door and Lars went through and I gave Lars a bonk in the head.

Y/N: We alreadhy had a ship, idiot. Why did you have to take one again?

Lars: Because you left me behind.

Y/N: Well you should have followed the Off Colors.

Rhodonite: Finally, we're off that hole!

Rutile Twins: Yeah! Thanks Painite!

Fluorite: If...it...wasn't...for...you...we...would...still...be...stuck...there...

Padparadscha: We left Lars behind!

Lars: I'm here.

Y/N: Everyone, welcome to my ship.
