When he awoke, he felt unfamiliarity, confusion, and fear flow in his blood. He sat up in the bed and suddenly felt all sorts of pain fill his body. He brought his hand up to his head and groaned, trying to soothe the headache that occupied his aching head. At the same time, he felt like the skin on his face was about to rip apart.

"Don't move, or your stitches will blow up." An unfamiliar altered voice spoke. It sounded half female, but it was deep, and it sounded mechanical, like a person speaking through an old hologram back in the time Darth Vader ruled the galaxy.

He looked up, his pain following with him, and saw none other than a female. Her head was covered in a black stormtrooper helmet, dressed in a black high neck top that connects to her leggings, filled with holsters, with simple combat boots and what seems like a matte black piece of fabric wrapped all over her arm starting from the middle of her upper arm to half of her fingers, acting like a pair of long fingerless gloves.

He observed that she dressed like a rebel, a smuggler warrior, yet simple with only a few armors visible since it was all matte black.

"Who are you?" He asked.

"No one important enough for you to know."

"Tell me your name." He ordered in a deep authoritative tone, meant to scare the masked girl.

"Not if you ask that way." She sassed, sitting on a stool with arms crossed, one leg over the other, leaning her back on the wall opposite of the bunk bed he sat on.

He gave up on knowing who the girl is——he thought that maybe she just didn't think it was important for him to know her name.

"Where am I?"

"I can assure you that I am not keeping you captive in here. I saved you from rotting in that wreck." She spoke in a matter-of-fact tone, proud of what she did.

Then he remembered. The base blowing up, defeated in a lightsaber match, escaping in a TIE, crash landing on a distant planet...

He paused for a while, taking it all in, before asking again. "How long have a been here?"

The mysterious girl hesitated to answer, her gestures unreadable. "About a week."

He felt anger surge through his body, feeling like it was her fault, but his rational side told him to calm down. "Why didn't you wake me up? I have important places to be."

So whiny, she thought. "It's not my job to do that. Besides, you needed that rest. You landed pretty badly on that ship."

He was starting to feel anger all over again. She was treating him like a pile of trash, like a person lower than her when he felt like it's the complete opposite. "Do you need me to remind you that I am an imperial leader, and I have a higher position than you?"

"Nope. I have good memory, thanks." She shrugged, teasing to frustrate him.

"I see you have woken up, master." Another voice interrupted their conversation, entering the room.

His head snapped to the direction of the voice, and he mentally groaned when he saw who it was.

"General Hux, why didn't you wake me up? You should know better than to keep him waiting——especially if it has something to do with me." He snapped, hiding his angered face in between his locks of hair.

"I would've, but this young lady over here told me not to, and that doing so would not wake you up but bring more pain towards you once you actually do wake up." He explained, saying the words 'young lady' with pure distaste.

He wondered what had happened while he wasn't awake. Had they had conversations before?

"Where are we?" The man covered in black asked the ginger-haired man, completely oblivious to his surroundings.

"We are in the planet Nopreshan. It's a suburban planet, as I've observed——"

"You've seen the rest of the planet?" The raven haired man questioned further, feeling angry that he had seen it first.

"Just around this place, yes."

There was a pause, before his master said, "We must go. Now." The two kept going on and on, almost forgetting the presence of the young woman in the room.

"Where is my helmet?" This time, he asked the woman, and her reply was a simple nod towards her desk filled with gadgets and gizmos, and amongst the metal mayhem, was the heavy black helmet.

The man snatched it from the desk and placed it upon his raven hair.

"General, have you made contact with anyone from the star destroyer?" He asked, his voice deeper and more mechanical.

"I've tried, master." The rat-faced man said fearfully, "But there's almost no forms of contact anywhere around here."

The masked man paused, his expression hidden behind his mask. He stood still, and the other two stared at him, waiting for his response. Rat face stared in fear of him raging, while the playful woman stared in humor, wanting him to get angry and tease him further.

"You." He called out sternly towards the young woman. She raised her eyebrows in reply, but it was hidden behind er mask, so to them, she had no reaction to his calling.

"You will help us get contact." He ordered, and the woman scoffed. He thinks he can boss me around, she thought. Let's see how he reacts to rejection.

"And why would I?" She teased raising her chin up, as if testifying the greatness of the imperial leader.

"You would, because I told you to."

"And not even a 'please'?"

"No. Not even a please."

She silently hummed, and nodded her head slowly but repeatedly, trying to trick him to believe that she had agreed, but just as he was about to sigh in relief, she quickly objected and said, "And what would I get from helping you?"

There was a long pause. Rat face kept quite while the two bickered, but watched their faces intently. He knew that this masked woman would be killed sooner or later if she kept at her attitude, or pieces of her furniture would be shattered.

"You would get nothing." The man finally said.

That sentence itself alerted the woman. She arose from her stool on anger and stomped her feet down. "What do you mean, 'I get nothing'?!"

"I am very well sure that you know what I mean." He glanced at his shoulder, looking back at her as he turned back towards rat face.

Rat face was about to talk when the girl forcefully shoved the masked man's shoulder to turn him around so that he was facing her. She felt a lot of nerve and braveness suddenly, as if she had forgotten that she was dealing with a person of high rank.

"You are not getting anything from me. Especially without even a simple sign of gratitude or a simple saying of thank you. You should learn to be thankful for what you're given. I fucking saved your life! If it wasn't for me, then you——"

"You will learn to be grateful that I haven't killed you yet. You smuggler scum." He spat at her face.

Even though these words were meant to teach the woman a lesson, it didn't. She felt even more rebellious than ever before, and even though her helmet hid her face, she wore a sickened expression. Her helmet made her silence sound like she was affected by his words, although her hidden face said the exact opposite.

"Leave this place. Now." She spoke with the same tone he wore. "People like you disgust me. Leave."

Silence found its way back in, with the two masked faces staring at each other as if the first to look away would lose... Or die, in this matter.

Rat face wore a worried look, sweat started dripping from his forehead, his Adam's apple bobbled as he gulped. But the woman wasn't in any way afraid. She didn't care if who she was arguing with had authorities to kill her if she kept on at this, or if he had authorities that allow him to take over her life——she very well knew that she was stubborn, and would always voice her opinion, either through expression or thoughts, or hurtful words. She was the type of person who would defend for what she thought was right, even if it meant her death. She was highly opinionated and headstrong, no matter who she had to deal with.

But what came next surprised her.

He obliged to her words.

He turned away without a single syllable of defense or mean words. He turned away without taking such as a simple glance back. He left without even having to tell his rat-face of a wingman to follow him.

Follow him out the door.
