Days had passed and you had avoided any kind of interaction with Jungkook. You noticed that he wasn't also paying any attention to you and hence you concluded that whatever happened that day was a mere demand of the moment and he had no feelings towards you.

Jungkook had joined the company and was totally busy understanding the rules, regulations, procedures and working of the department and had started comming home late. So by the time you came back from your school and shop, nobody except Junghyun was there and hence you patiently used to settle in your room, without meeting Jungkook's gaze.

Though you were trying to avoid him but since everything became so quiet, you started missing him. Whenever you came back to the mansion, you always hoped to see Jungkook at least once before hibernating yourself. Even if you denied, you had started to like him but tried holding back your feelings as you thought that the feelings weren't mutual.

Both of you were busy in your lives or were trying to be busy in order to avoid each other. You saw Jungkook and Junghyun going to hospital sometimes but wondered why as he had already recovered. Days were passing quickly and now you were completely worried about Ken.

You tried contacting him but there wasn't any respond. You even asked Rose to check whether Ken is back home or not because there wasn't this long duration in between your contacts. You did everything to know about him but all in vain.

|A month later|

It was sunday today and you were trying to call Rose but she wasn't picking up. On the other hand you were worried about Ken. Now you were completely sure that it's something serious otherwise he would've definitely called you or least, texted you.

"Watch out!" You spoke loudly when I bumped into someone.

As you looked up, your gaze got fixed with his and your face turned red instantaneously.

"Oh! I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention." You said and started walking back when he grabbed your hand and turned you to face him.

"W..why are you avoiding me Y/N?" Jungkook asked you.

"The same reason because of which you are avoiding me!"

"I'm not avoiding you Y/N! I just thought that you might be feeling uncomfortable after we kis..I kissed you. So..so I was just giving you time to-"

"Time to forget about it? It's alright! I already did and you must not worry. I know that you didn't do it willingly so don't think that I'll cause you trouble in your future." You told whatever came in your mind and saw his face turning confused.

"What are you even saying?"

"I guess you wanted to say something like this..so..yea..yeah!" With your hand still held by him, you tried removing it and running away.

"What if I say that it wasn't a mistake and I wanted to do it?" He said stopping me on my way.

You turned around giving him I'm sorry, didn't get it look.

"I like you Y/N and I want you to be my girlfriend." He said and you were freezed on the spot.

"My bunny has grown now! Proud hyung!" Junghyun suddenly appeared out of nowhere startling both of you.

"H..hyung!"
"Jun..Junghyun"

"I'll pretend that I didn't hear anything so carry on, lovebirds!" Junghyun sarcastically said.

"It wasn't my intention Junghyun. I..I don't know..!" You said.

"It's fine Y/N! I know that you two have a thing so it's alright."

"We..we don't have a thing yet!"

"But I want that!" Jungkook said.

Junghyun took Jungkook with him and asked me to follow. Though you followed but the worries in your mind hadn't vanished yet. You all sat on the couch and Jungkook noticed seriousness on your face.

"What happened Y/N? You look quiet tensed. Is..is it because of me or because of my words? I'm really sorry. It's okay if you don't want to-"

"No! I'm not worried about that. It's something personal."

"Want to share?" Junghyun asked.

"I guess you already must be knowing about my past through Jungkook. My step brother; he hasn't contacted me yet after his return to America. And my friend too is strangely not picking the call."

"You sure that he has returned back?" Junghyun asked.

"Well I'm not sure about that. Ken's trip was only a month long and it's already been late so I guess. But the problem is that he hasn't done this ever!"

"It might have been extended or something. Don't worry!" Jungkook said." And your friend must be busy..like you!"

"Excuse me. She always texts me if that's the reason." You blurted out.

You continued telling them your problems and they assumed various conclusions. Only a reassuring smile came on your face.

"Why don't you join us? We are going to the hospital to meet the patient so you can come with us. It might be helpful to distract yourself for sometime." Junghyun offered.

"What patient?"

"Jungkook's car crashed with another persons during the accident and he is still in coma. So we pay a regular visit to him, in case he wakes up and we can inform his family." Junghyun said.

"Oh! That's really thoughtful of you because no body cares for strangers like you are doing."

"Well my bunny can't see someone like this, especially if the reason is he himself."

You looked at him and gave him a slight smile which he returned back sincerely.

|Hospital|

"We need to meet that coma patient" Junghyun was talking to the receptionist and Jungkook was standing close to you.

After taking the permission, you all took the lift to the 10th floor of the hospital.

Your POV

"Try saying some motivational words. Maybe he will respond to a girl." Jungkook told me and I replied with the clicking of mouth.

I followed them inside the room and saw a nurse sitting besides. After acknowledging us, she left the room.

I went forward to see the face and at that moment my world turned upside down.

"KEN!!" I screamed and fell down.
