Shock. It was spread all over across Alex's face the second I blurted it out. For the first time, I was nervous that Alex would be angry.

But then he smiled. "Isn't that what you wanted?" He asked, knowing how I felt about Braden. I nodded. "But he never said why..." I murmured, thinking it may just be some sort of joke.
Alex laughed. "Well I'll be in my room." He said and then walked up the stairs.

A little blush was left on my lips. My finger went up to cover my tingling lips as I sat down on my couch. I felt like a hole was left in my chest and I needed him again.

my back pocket vibrated as I recieved a notification, followed by a bing. I pulled out my phone to see that Braden had texted me.

"Hey, miss me already?"

How did he know? A small smile spread across my lips as I began to type a reply.

"Maybe. How long are you going to be in England? We should hang out more."

I put my phone down and decided to take a nap, since i was quite lazy and hadn't slept last night. I dragged myself to my bedroom, taking off my beanie and curling up in my bed. Everything faded as I drifted off.

I woke up to darkness. I sat up, reaching for my phone to check the time. 12:20 am. I set my phone down, looking around as i rubbed my eyes. And then the fear set in. I curled back into my silk sheets, shaking slightly as tears started to fall. I hated the dark. I absolutely hated it. I felt cold, despite the warmth in the whole room. I wanted someone beside me. I wanted Braden.
