All night I kept thinking about what I had done. I talked to a human. Ugh...... I couldn't believe it. I talked to the very species that put us in the run down part of town. Just then my mom came into my room.

"RISE AND SHINE!!" she said as she made sure my blinds were closed. "Today you get your sunrise charm!! my mom was very excited for the graduation. Vampires go through the basic learning stuff, English, math, history, science, but we also have Vamping 101. Basically throughout the grades you learn more about your abilities. Blah, blah, blah, so we graduate in a human's second year of high school. We usually tend to see that the things they usually teach in the last two years are completely useless. 

"Moooom!!!" My mom is extremely happy because with graduation comes the sunrise charm, you send in a form at the beginning of the year stating what you want your charm to be, anklet, ring, necklace, bracelet, earrings, you name it. Some people base it on style, some on practicability, some just don't care. I got up, got dressed in a black dress with purple details. I put on my graduation robe and I hugged my parents, slapped my brother on the back of the head and leaped towards the school. "See you there!" I called out midair. When I got there I immediately ran to Velika and Ivory. Ivory was wearing a green dress with black and purple details, and Velika was wearing a dark grey dress with black details. 

"Can you believe we graduate today? Free from Mr.Strokes' math class!" Ivory said as they showed us their graduation cap, Ivory had decorated it with some faux flowers, some purple, some black, some grey, and some green leaves. Velika had decorated theirs with some lace on the edging then engraved her name into the cap. I decorated mine with some purple glow in the dark art that said my name. The whole class went up on that stage, got our charms on by one, then we threw our caps. Ivory had a bracelet that also had things that go on your fingers, the sunrise charm being directly over her hand. Velika chose a necklace, the sunrise charm carved into a perfect little sphere held into place with a winding piece of gold and a chain. Mine was one in a simple black choker. But throughout the whole graduation, I still thought about Uptown and that boy. Then I came up with an idea....
