The gap was too big to jump directly on the roof, we were going to have to jump onto the fire escape, then climb onto the roof, all without our powers. We couldn't use them in front of the human, he would be able to tell we were vampires, then tell the mayor that vampires were in Uptown. We would just have to rely on our average abilities. 

"Velika, Ivory go! I'll keep throwing stuff at him!" I said, the boy was halfway across the roof, Velika didn't hesitate to jump. She managed to land on the fire escape railing, she climbed over the railing.

"Come on Ivory! You can do it!" she shouted, Ivory jumped, instead of landing on the railing, she landed on the outside of the railing, holding onto it, Velika helped them up. They climbed up onto the roof. "Come on Willow!" I was about to jump when something grabbed my arm.

"Hey, I'm sorry. Please don't be afraid, I didn't mean to scare you." the boy said, I tried to shake my arm free of him, but he refused to let go. Finally I broke free of his grip. I jumped onto the fire escape, and climbed up onto the roof.

"Come on Willow" Ivory said as they had already gotten a head start with Velika, running towards the gate. I looked back at the boy, he looked a little hurt, as if he did something wrong. I felt bad for him.

"It's not your fault that I'm leaving, I just have to" I said as I ran over to Velika and Ivory, we ran and ran and ran over the the gate, but I could hear him whisper my name, he must have heard Velika and Ivory call me that.

"Willow..." he said as he watched us run, then headed of the roof. 

"I can't believe someone saw us...." Ivory said.

"Let's just go home" I said as we snuck past the guards back into Downtown, we were home, we said goodbye to each other, and went to our houses, and slept for the rest of the night.
