The world was once ruled by creatures, creatures called vampires. Yet over time humans came to live, we found ourselves drawn to their blood, we found out we could turn them, they became afraid of us, even those who refused to drink human blood. There were those who continued to feed on the humans, and some who fed off of animal blood. Over time humans discovered that we couldn't be out in the daylight, and that they could kill us with a wooden stake to the heart. We began to decrease in numbers, forced to go into hiding into a forest, next to a small town, some vampires became careless, so they tried to introduce themselves to the humans. After a while the humans agreed not to kill us, as long as we stay downtown, never to go uptown to fraternize with them. Years passed, We were now in the modern world, vampires were legends and myths to everyone, everywhere except Middleton. My name is, Willow Withelmina, I am a vampire, always have been. I wasn't turned, my parents are vampires, my grandparents are vampires, my friends are vampires, and the bullies are vampires, we have a broken down school, broken down houses, we don't even have cars. We wouldn't have much use for cars, but still we don't have them. I had always wondered what it was like Uptown, but my friends told me to forget about it. I was on top of my roof, looking at Uptown, so bright and colorful, while we're here in a black ghost town. "Hey! Willow! Get down here! My friend Velika yelled, Ivory was standing next to her. I jumped down and hugged them. "What were you doing up there?" Velika asked.

"Oh.. I was just looking at the sky again." I answered, embarrassed to reveal my true intentions of going up on the roof day after day.

"Well, can we change our hangout to here, my brother kicked me out of our house" Ivory said, Ivory has 2 brothers, Enoch and Ichabod. They're annoying, but their still like brothers to me.

"Yeah, sure" I said as we walked inside, I handed them some snacks, and some animal blood pouches. "So, I was wondering.. Maybe we could sneak over to Uptown..." I said as under my breath as I hate a MilkyWay bar.

"ARE YOU INSANE?!?! YOU'VE GONE MENTAL!!" Ivory started yelling.Just then Velika covered Ivory's mouth.

"When do we leave?" she asked

"Tonight" I said as I got up and packed a bag.

"Why do you need a bag?" Velika asked

"Phone, medical supplies, blood pouches and a hoodie in case I feel like hiding my face." I said as I packed everything, "And of course some Count Cola cans, you know I'm addicted"

"Fine, I guess we're going to Uptown..." Ivory said as we left my house, and made our way to forbidden territory...
