After relaxing for awhile, am able to forget my worries at the moment.
I know I'll have to face the reality soon, but I don't have the nerve to do it now. I'm afraid it'll break me.

After hours of comfortable silence, Nick stood up and announce that we've to get going.

As much as I want you to enjoy the beautiful nature, we've to get back to work and think of an alternative in case Mr Hardin refuse to make the deal.

I nod in agreement and followed him into his car.

He drives us to the company and excuse himself immediately. I took it as a clue to start looking for other companies that will be of use to us.

After hours of working, I still couldn't decide which one to choose, so I might have to leave the decision to Nick.

I arranged my stuff into my mini bag and decided to call it a day.

On getting home, I met Alie at the hallway crying profusely as she ran her hands in her hair.

She couldn't whisper a word as she choke on her tears.

I run my hands through her hair in a smoothing manner to calm her down.

It's fine, you don't have to talk now. Let get you inside.

I unlocked the door as we both enter the living room.

Sit here, I'll get you some water. I instructed.

I went into the kitchen to get her a glass of water, preparing myself for the long Alie crying episode.

"Here you go" I hand over the water to her.

So tell me,what happened?

It's Nelson. She cried even harder.

I moved closer to her as I pat her back, encouraging her to continue.

I'm not saying you don't know what you saw, but maybe it was a misunderstanding because I've known Nelson long enough to know he's not that type of guy and he even have good reputation.

I'm sorry Alie, I don't mean it that way. All am saying is you should hear his own side of the story. Who knows maybe this is what that girl wants anyway and if it turns out you were right, we'll have to deal with that later but for now, go and have your bath. You look like a hot mess.

I ordered pizza for us, while she was cleaning herself up.

I went into my room to carry my duvet because of the cold weather.

I covered my body with my duvet as I place my head on Alie's leg.

We continue to watch our movie in peace as we heard a knock at the door.

Are you expecting someone? I asked.

No, are you?

No. So who could be knocking at the door by this time?

Did you order for anything?

No, the pizza arrived about an hour ago and I didn't order for something else.

Should we just ignore it?
It could be those annoying kids.

Nah, I'll just check who it is.

I stood up to check who was at the door, turns out it is Nelson.

Is Natalie inside? He speaks with urgency

Sarah please, I need to talk to her.

Sigh am in no position to make that decision. I'll have to ask if she wants to talk to you.

I could see how helpless he looked so i decided to leave the two to resolve their issue.
I went back to the living room to find  Alie on the couch oblivious to the fact that Nelson was at the door, waiting for her.

Alie can I talk to you for a second?

Sure, who is at the door

It's Nelson. He wants to talk to you

And what was your reply?

I said I'll ask you if you want to talk or not.

Good. I don't want to see him right now or say anything about him.
Can you tell him to leave?

Alie don't you think you deserve an explanation?
Am not trying to justify what he did but you should at least talk to him.

Sarah, I don't want to talk to him right now. She finalize

I raise my hands up in surrender as I went back to meet Nelson, waiting patiently at the door.

Hmm... Nelson I think you'll have to give her space because she doesn't want to see you right now.

Can you please talk to her?
I promise you, it's not what she thought.

I know Alie like the back of my hands and I also know she like you so much. She's just disappointed. And if she was right, am not impressed either. Why would you use her to get closer to her biggest competitor?

Sarah I swear, it's nothing like that. I wish she entered earlier to know what am taking about.
Just please get her to talk to me. I don't care how long it takes, I'll wait.

I'll try but the decision is still hers.

I closed the door and went back to a pissed Alie.

I'm sorry I don't mean to piss you, he just look so sincere that I actually want you to hear him out.

I'll talk to him when am ready but till then, I don't want to hear his name.

Ain't you working with him at the moment?

I am. The shoot will end in a week anyway so I can ignore him for that long.

And you're sure you don't want to hear him out?
For all you know, it might be a misunderstanding.

Are you saying I don't know what I saw?

Of course not. All am saying is sometimes, we choose to ignore the Truth because we're afraid it'll break us. But in your situation it's totally different. Have known Nelson for awhile now and I also know about his entanglement so maybe what you saw is true but if you allow him to explain himself, you might be able to understand the situation a little better.
It's still your choice though. I can't force you into doing anything, but always remember your happiness is all that matters to me.

She left the living room almost angrily but I know the anger wasn't directed to me. She's probably regretting not hearing him out. Because at the end of the day, we all want to know why people did some certain things to us but our pride always gets in the way.

I remember my encounter with Robbins and what he said about Adams. I wanted to meet him so badly and tell him how much I miss him. I want to yell at him so badly for leaving me when I needed him the most but I don't know if I'll be able to see him without breaking down from the memories.
But at the end of the day, Robbins was right. Adams is the only one that has ever shown me love the way I deserved.
After contemplating for awhile, I decided to call him. Or maybe I shouldn't, it's late already so he's probably sleeping.
I kept going on and on about why I shouldn't call him while I stare at his number and I mistakenly send it.
He picked it at the first ring.
