Surprise

"I promise you're going to like this!" Toria  said as she hurriedly guides me down the hallway. She had blindfolded me down in the common room and I was not in any state to object. I have no clue where I'm going and, to be honest, I'm quite scared. I can feel the twists and turns as we walked down the hallways, but there was no use trying to follow. I had lost myself in the maze of the winding corridors. I feel like we've been walking for days, maybe years, and we finally stop. "Where are we?" I ask as I hear footsteps withdraw. "Toria? Did you just leave? What's going on?" I ask again, there's still no response and it is eerily silent. "Hello? This isn't funny. Can I take off the blindfold now?" I yell. No response. I start to take off the blindfold, but I feel a hand close tightly around my wrist and a voice say "Not yet." That voice. I knew it, but I did not know it. So, I waited and waited. Finally I hear a whisper "You can take off the blindfold now." I look around and what I see bring tears to my eyes. The classroom, that we go to when we need a safe space or when one of us goes when they're sad, is decorated with gorgeous fairy lights and comfy couches and chairs with all of my favorite things (please think this up yourself and let it be your own space, I want you to have a safe place in this story that's totally personalized to you anytime you need it :) if you understand what I mean in a non-creepy way...okay bye now!). I start to break down and cry. Why do this for me? Why now? How did they do this? How did they get all this stuff here? What if a teacher finds out about it? I don't care all I know is that I love my friends.
