"He didn't show up?" Toria asks as I sit down at breakfast. "No, and I haven't seen him all morning." I sigh as the boys sit down. "Who?" they ask in unison. "No one, just my stupid partner for that potions project." she covers for me and I send her a grateful smile. "Well, last I saw Danby, he was scarfing down last night's dinner." Fred says through a mouth full of food. "Ya knows, it's sad that I'm so used to being around you that I understood what you just said." I laugh and watch as George almost spits out his drink from laughing so hard. "I can't help but think you were serious!" Toria joke as our case of the giggles gets worse. "Hello ladies! Fred, George?" Dean says as he walks up. " 'Ello Dean!" Toria and I say as Dean winks at us. Dean is adorable, but just a friend. "We'll be on our way as soon as Fred stops stuffing his face!" George laughs. "Do we want to know what that was about?" Toria asks as Dean leaves. "Just a prank, that's all." George says and flashes us a smile. "Why don't I believe you?" I ask as George raises his eyebrows at me. He simply responds, "We'll be off." and throws me a wink. "What do you think they're up to?" Toria asks as we watch them stumble out of the great hall. "I don't want to know." I say with a smile.

"Let's go to the room." Toria says as she plops down on my bed. We've been doing homework for a couple of hours now, and we are finally finished. There's only two things I can assume she wants: to surprise me, or a girl's night. I'm hoping for a girl's night. "Why?" I ask as I shove my completed essay into a book. "Girl's Night?" She laughs. "Alright." I give in. We could use a night to ourselves after going through hell and back with homework.

"You seem all comfy-cozy. Having a heart to heart are we?"George teases as he walks in to see us cuddled into a blanket on the couch. Where's the other half?" I ignore his question. "Off to chase Angelina. So, I asked Hermione if she'd seen you and she hadn't, so I assumed you'd be here. Can I join girl's night?" he asks with a hint of embarrassment. Toria and I give eachother a look and sigh a "fine" as he flops onto the couch next to me. Next thing I know, there's a chin resting on the top of my head and arms wrapped tightly around me. "Thanks" he mumbles. "No problem." I respond and settle into his arms. "Should get some food?" Toria asks as she lays her head on my shoulder. "Yes." we chime in sync. "But now I'm comfy and don't want to get up." She whines. We laugh and all unknowingly agree that this is going to be a great night

"Shhhh, Don't wake her."

"Sorry . Ya know, you two look adorable like that."

" I don't think she'd want to hear that."

"Why not?"

"Isn't she dating Ced?"

"No, in fact, he stood her up last night."

"What're you talking about?"

"They go out to the lake to talk after curfew. He's like her older brother."

"So?"

"She's mad at him and she told me herself that she has no feelings for him."

"That doesn't mean she-"

"You'll never know until you ask."

"I can't. It would ruin everything."

"Stop thinking about what you might ruin and think about what you might create."

"I can't ask her."

"Fine, if you can live with seeing her date and fall in love with someone else, suit yourself."

But I do love him.
