Sarai's POV

I decided I had to talk to Rex before I leave. So I went to his shared room. Knowing he goes there after every training to clean his guns. "Sarai?" he says confused when he enters the room.

"Rex" I say with a smile as the door shuts.

"You know it's dangerous to be here, if we were caught" he starts to say.

"I know Rex, you'd be tried and I would be kicked out of the Jedi Order" I state with a sad smile.

"So, why are you here?" he asks as he sits beside me.

"To tell you I love you" I tell him and he smiles gently. "With this war, we might not see each other. And no one can find out about our feelings for each other. It'd be to dangerous. But I just had to let you know how I felt" I state.

He grabs my hand lacing  fingers together. "I love you too Sarai, I promise no one will ever find out and we can trust my brothers" he tells me.

"I know" I say and lean into him. Resting my head on his shoulder. "I hope this war doesn't go one for years" I state.

"I'm sure it won't" he assures me. "Lets make a promise" he tells me. I look at him curious. "Once this war is over, we'll leave and start a life together" he states.

"Away from the order and army?" I ask.

"Yes, just the two of us. Maybe a couple of kids" he says smiling.

"I'd like that" I tell him. "But right now, we both need to focus on the war and ending it" I state. He nods his head in agreement. We kiss briefly. "I'll pray for you" I tell him.

"I'll dream of you" he tells me and I blush lightly.

"I need to go, promise me you'll be careful?" I ask.

"I will and you too" he tells me. I nod my head before leaving. I go meditate until I feel a more powerful jedi then Master Kenobi approaching Kamino. I leave my room heading for the landing platform. To see Taun We there already with Lama Su.

"It's a powerful jedi master approaching" I tell them. They nod their heads. Soon a lone fighter lands outside and Master Yoda appears. "Master Yoda" I say bowing to him.

"Padawan Xander, good to you alive and well it is" he says.

"You to master" I tell him.

"We've been expecting you" Taun We tells him. "Allow me to introduce Lama Su, our prime minister" she adds.

"A pleasure it is" Yoda says. "The army ready for battle, is it?" he asks.

"We have two cruisers that can transport 9,400 clones each" Lama Su tells him.

"Good, I need all troops you can spare.We're going to battle an army of a hundred or thousands on battle droids on Genosis" Master Yoda states.

"They'll be ready to move out with in the hour Master Yoda" I tell him. "The ships are already loaded, just need to get the men together and tell them the plan" I state.

"Good, see to it you will" he tells me. I nod and left to gather the troops. Rex and his group being among them. I stand on the bridge as Master Yoda appears.

"I explained a part of the mission to them master, but I don't know everything" I tell him.

"Good, to battle we are going. Two hundred jedi we must retrieve, along with a senator. Our main priority is the safety of the jedi and senator. Destroy as many droids as possible, you must" he states. "Capture Count Dooku we must" he adds.

"Count Dooku? Is not not a part of the order?" I ask confused.

"Left he did ten years ago shortly after you master's death" he tells me. "Lead the Separatist, he does now" he states. I nod my head. The mission is relied to the troops. We have a final systems check before taking off.

"Master Yoda, after this battle. What will become of me?" I ask him.

"Worry about that later, we will. Focus on the task as hand, we must" he tells me. I nod my head. "Know these men well you do?" he asks.

"Yes, I've trained with them the last ten years. Some have names, though the Kaminoans don't approve and use their numbers" I tell him. "I've always called them by name, they are living beings. Not droids" I state and he nods his head. "I've tried my best to keep up with my jedi training, but it's been hard without a master" I tell him.

"This battle, show us how far your training has come it will" he tells me. "What do you remember of your master?" he asks me.

"He was secretive, was called to a dangerous mission. Said I wasn't ready for and lift me on Kamino. Knowing I'd be safe there" I state. "I was only a child, I had a nightmare of his death. But did not know it was real" I tell him. "I believe my combat skills are fine, but I need to learn more about the force and visions" I state. He nods his head.

"Commander, General we'll be reaching Geonosis in half an hour" a pilot tells us.

"Good, landing ships do we have?" Yoda asks.

"We have gunships" I tell him and lead him to the hanger. Where a dozen gunships are. "Each can hold up to thirty clones. There are four composite-beam pinpoint laser turrets - two manned by clone troopers, two remotely controlled by the co-pilot/gunner. Then of course, a pilot" I explain. "The other cruiser also has twelve" I add.

"Load them up we will, retrieve the jedi then engage the droids we will. While securing a landing zone for our cruisers" he states. I nod my head and go organize the troops.
