With my FN Awards over halfway done, I figured I'd do a little surprise! Here's a new mini contest for small writers.

Read this full chapter if you want both sides of your pillow to be cold tonight.

Info:

- I am the only judge to keep it fair.

- Read the categories chapter. I give some tips about what I'm looking for in the categories, and it can help you decide where to submit.

- Results will be posted fast, so please refrain from asking about when they will be out.

- With that being said, judging may take a bit to start depending on how fast this fills up. I will keep you updated. I will update the book and let you know when judging starts.

- Similarly, please be patient with prizes. My prizes are very detailed and some of them take time to complete, and considering there are 5 winners per category, and this contest is meant to be judged fast, I'm going to have to do a lot of these complex prizes. Please give me time to complete them.

- Since this is a mini awards, there are only two quick payments, so please respect them. You can do them without even having to click off this book, that's how quick and easy they are.

- Anyone arguing about results will be disqualified and blacklisted.

- Any questions asked that are answered in this chapter (i.e., "What are the payments?") will be ignored. I will happily clarify confusion, like if you're confused about how to do a payment or confused about a rule, but please don't ask me something like "what is the payment?"

- I run a review and interview shop, but while participating in this contest, you cannot sign up for either of them. Anyone who is a past participant of those shops or are waiting for their review/interview can still sign up for this contest.

- I don't give harsh feedback. I give fair and honest feedback, so it may sting, but I'm not going to be using words like "ugly" or "cringe" or other harsh terms. The goal is to help you, not hurt you.

- I have a K-pop awards book still accepting applications called the Forever Gold K-pop Awards. If you haven't signed up yet, I strongly recommend it! I accept all K-pop fanfics of all genres. I'll post the link here for your convenience.

- In this contest, you don't have to tag anyone. I personally hate tagging people since I feel bad, so I don't want to ask people to do things I personally wouldn't do. For that reason, I'd like it so even my main contests don't have tagging at all. I'd appreciate it if you left your thoughts here about whether or not you think I should keep the tagging as one of the payments for my main awards, or if I should move them to optional.

Rules:

- You must submit your own story.

- Do the payments before you submit a form.

- As long as you have at least one core story chapter, you can submit to this contest. A core story chapter is defined as chapter 1, so things like aesthetics, prologues, a/ns, etc. don't count.

- If you submit a oneshot compilation/anthology, please tell me the name of the chapter you would like me to judge.

- Fanfics, original stories, poetry, scripts, mature stories, anthologies, LGBTQ+ stories, ships, crossovers/AUs, etc. are all accepted. I'm not picky, almost anything is accepted.

- For the best cover and best presentation categories, no templates allowed for the cover, and the cover must have been made by you. If you are found submitting a template or something from a shop/made by someone else, you will be disqualified. If one of the winners is found to have submitted a template, your winner status will be revoked, you will be automatically blacklisted, and I will block you. Those categories are for covers made from scratch, so please respect this or don't sign up for them.

- Do not attempt to bribe me. Unless you have videos of Park Jimin pole dancing while wearing a silver body chain with dangly cross earrings with wavy, long black hair and high-heeled boots and one of those Shakespearean cape outfits with his chest half showing and his thighs all oiled up, it's not going to work.

- You can submit up to five times, but each submission must be with a different book. The point of this awards is to give as many books and authors a chance as possible, so I do not want to be judging the same book five times. Please submit a different book per each submission.

Restrictions:

You cannot sign up if any of these apply to you.

If you have a problem with any of these restrictions, keep it to yourself. This is my contest, not yours. I host and judge this by myself, and my reviews per category are typically 10-25k words long. I am absolutely within my rights to say what stories I do and don't want to spend that much time reviewing, so please respect that or click off the book. I shouldn't have to force myself to read and review stories I'm uncomfortable with just to be more accommodating. That's unfair to me.

I won't be offended if you dislike my rules, but that doesn't change that they're mine, and that doesn't make them wrong or unfair, it just means they aren't your personal taste. That is okay. It is okay if you disagree, but that doesn't mean you have to argue or express that you dislike my rules. You would be trying to make me feel bad about being uncomfortable with certain things, and that's not cool. Please respect my rules.

If you have a genuine concern with anything, I will happily answer questions and try to be more accommodating, but if you're just leaving your "opinion" to try and be rude to me about my rules, please don't. I'm not going to reply, so don't bother.

Now, the restrictions.

- Your book is only smut. It's fine if there is smut, but if a good 80-100% of your book is smut, you will be disqualified. Even if it's just for the best cover category, I don't want books that are mostly smut.

- Any books romanticizing dark topics like r*pe. I don't care if it's in the warnings, you will still get disqualified for submitting a book that romanticizes things like r*pe, ab*se, kidnapping, etc. It's fine if those topics are in your story as long as they're not romanticized. Again, you can have these elements in your story, just not glorified/romanticized.

- If you have over 5k followers

- If the book you want to submit has over 150k reads. You can submit other books, but no books over 150k. If your book goes over 150k before I judge, that's fine since that's not your fault, as long as you're applying with under 150k reads.

- If your book has won 10 or more times in other contests. That includes honorable mentions, third place, second, and first. If you have won 10 or more times with a book, do not submit that book. You can submit other books, though.

Payments:

- Permanently follow me, your host & judge

- Add this to a public or private library

Payment Rules:

- Don't worry, I don't post much in the way of stories/announcements, so following me won't result in many notifications.

- For my convenience, I would prefer it if you follow from a main account, but backups work too. However, if you are going to follow from a backup, please leave an inline comment here. Do not put it in your form.

- If you back out, you must remain followed. Since this is meant to be judged quickly, this rule is in place to discourage you from backing out to thus lower the risk of me being in the middle of your review when you back out (this has happened to me many times before). Backing out also means I have to find someone to take your slot, so it's more unnecessary work for me. Please try not to sign up unless you have no plans of backing out.

- Yes, you can back out, and I'm understanding of emergencies or changes in mental state, though please try not to, or at least try to find someone to take your place if you back out.

- You must remain followed even after the contest is over. You get a permanent detailed review from me along with other permanent benefits, so it's only fair that one of the payments is permanent, too. Writing a review is a lot more work than pressing a button, so this is completely fair, and if you don't like it, that's fine and you're entitled to that, but that doesn't make it unfair, and it also doesn't mean you need to send hate or "opinions" my way because you disagree, especially if you've never hosted/participated in a contest or review shop before. My payments are some of the most relaxed in the community. Instead of hating on me for one follow in return for 10-25k words worth of reviews per category, spend your energy on the vast majority of contests that ask for v4v, c4c, MULTIPLE permanent follows, etc.

- If your book gets deleted for any reason, you can submit another book without having to submit another form, you can just tell me what book you want to replace the old one with. You will not lose your spot, don't worry.

- If you make the choice to delete your book, then you must remain followed since that's not my fault and you're inconveniencing me.

- If Wattpad removed the book, and you can provide proof of this (since Wattpad would inform you they took it down), then I have no problem with you unfollowing since that's out of our control and not your fault (only if all the books you submitted get removed by Wattpad).

- You will get two warnings about unfollowing. Unfollowing more than twice will result in a blacklisting within reason. For example, if you unfollow twice then unfollow again like six months later, I'm not cruel, I'll ask you about it.

- Blacklists for unfollows will take a week to roll out, so you will still be given a full week to refollow me if I discover you unfollowed me more than once.

- If you are experiencing issues and have unfollowed me for some reason (like a glitch or you're going on an unfollow then refollow spree), please let me know and I will not hold it against you/count it toward your warnings as long as you follow me back within a week. If I don't notice you unfollow me before you refollow me, then don't worry, that won't count toward your warnings either.

- Adding to your library is not a payment to promote the awards, it's just so you can get notifications about story updates, so that's why I don't care if the library is public or private.

- I don't care if you remove it from your library after your category is judged/the contest is complete. The follow is the only permanent thing.

- Vote on this book if you're enjoying it and want to support it
