I growl in frustration, "why is she so stubborn" I ask myself, running threw my hair as I look after the way she went.

"Mind explaining?" My dad asks and I look at him.

"I already said she was my mate, what more is there to explain?" I ask kind of snapping and my fathers growls echo threw the forest, "don't use that tone with me mister!" He bellowed.

I sigh, "sorry dad I'm just frustrated, with you and mom it was so easy, she was your first love and that's how it stayed" he said softly and his dad nodded, "yeah I guess but let's keep a low profile for a while and maybe you can invite her to dinner with us or something, maybe we'll have some pizza or something" his dad said shrugging it off like it was no big deal.

"Yes! Thanks dad!" He said excitedly as they all went to go and return to their perfect home.

Skyler
Almost by magic I'm back home with some bread and milk, they never let me go that easily.

Somethings up, I can feel it and so can Jacky, we could be in danger.

Earlier I even went for a run; nothing, no one. Not even the animals around me, that were usually chatter boxes, made noise, not a sound. They were silent as mice in a warm house on a cold winter night.

I frown and hear the thunder off in the distance and the rain drop hitting the ground, as if everything's going in slow motion again I'm looking at the ground off to my left side. Swiftly I turn and grab the neck of someone and slam them into a tree, the King.

I growl showing him my fangs then I let him go making him fall to the ground and taking a few steps back. I retract my fangs and lick my top row of front teeth as if I had something on them. I watch him as he gets up putting a hand on the tree as he was still bent over from pain.

Watching him and taking in his attire. He has on a cape but it has no hood and is red with white fluff around it, his pants look fancy and are ironed with no wrinkles except for when he walks, and his shirt in a plain red t-shirt with a crown to top it off.

He gets up fully looking at me, "wow you are strong I must admit that, you'd think you were a royal and I wasn't" he said chuckling.

I roll my eyes but other than that there was no movement from me and he frowns, "can you do something other than growl at me?" He asked but I shook my head no.

He laughed with no humor and went towards me and I took a step back but he kept coming and I kept going backwards and I sensed someone behind me.

I swiftly turn and grab the arm of the person and flip them over above my head and he pulls me down on top of his chest and I look at him, the prince.

"Hey nice to see you to" he said chuckling and I try to push myself off of him but he holds my waist and pulls me into a kiss.

I pull away slapping him and standing, I growl at him and he holds his cheek, "d*mn that hurt" he said and his mother came out, "language" she said hitting his arm and I roll my eyes again.

She looks at me and I growl, "ok we all know your a female but can you at least take your hood off? We've seen your face before" she said and I don't pulling my hood on more and the prince chuckles.

He tries to come towards me but I snap around and snarl in his face and he tumbles backwards. I smirk and I see Jacks, "ha, I sensed this" he said and I smile.

"How's Jaz?" I ask and he smiles happily, "she's amazing" he mumbled and I laugh, "jeez I thought you not to be the only whipped one!" I say and the prince and his parents just watch.

"Yeah right! Like you and Ace weren't whipped! You also always said Asher and April were whipped but hey! I'm sooo the only one whipped!" He said and I growl at the mention of Ace.

"Forget about Ace, he's not here, he's dead so get that in your head kid" I snarl out at him and the king frowns, "did you say Ace? What's his last name?" He asks and before I can respond Jacks says, "Stark, Ace Stark, and his father was Asher Stark and-"

"Kid I told you shut up!" I yell and he growls at me.

The King frowns, "but his mate was Skyler Jackson, that's not you" he said growling.

"Yeah well it is her and since she's the Moongoddess' daughter she ages different and she's supposed to be 35 but she's now 18 and-" silence.

Silence because I don't know what happened but he froze, he's not breathing but he's not dead, he's just frozen there and I don't even know what's happening.

Samantha or the Moongoddess or my mother comes out, "Skyler! Oh my" she says covering her mouth as she saw Jacks.

"What did you-" the moon goddess starts to ask but I cut her off.

"I don't know!" I yell and snarl and hear Jacks coughing.

I pull off my hood and hug him close to my chest, "Jacks? Jacks are you ok? Dang kid don't scare me like that" I yell at him and he chuckles weakly.

"Sorry Sky" he mumbled and I roll my eyes, "you are not" I say and he smirks, "I know" he saids and I push him down and he chuckles, "are you mad? Or naw-"

"I dare you say one more word cause if you do, hell will break loose in this forest" I say and he clamps up and it's my turn to smirk.

"Wait so we're just gonna ignore the fact that you froze him like Elsa?" The prince asks and I turn to him frowning, "who?" I ask and Jacks chuckles, "Miss I think I'm so cool with my ice powers" he said and I rolled my eyes looking at Jacks.

"Ooohhhh her, yeah she gets on my nerves like we get it! You let your powers go crazy! You don't have to sing a whole freakin song that gets stuck in your head for that!" I say annoyed, crossing my arms.

Jacks just rolls on the ground with laughter and the moongoddess giggles while the prince looks at me with a raised eyebrow along with his parents.

I growl at them, "jeez your family sure like to stare" I say growling then I get up and help Jacks up then punch him in the jaw making him go back down.

"That's for scaring me kid" I say growling and he groans holds his jaw, "ow, and sorry mom, it was just funny" he said shrugging a bit and I sigh, "what am I going to do with you" I mumble.

The moongoddess laughs, "you took him in" she said shrugging and I glare at her then realize the royal family's still there.

"Oh and thanks for telling them about Ace and Asher, I should knock you out right now, but then again it'd be easier just to kill all of them" I say shrugging like it's nothing, it really is nothing and I take out a blade playing with it in my fingers while smirking.

"You can't do that, he's your mate and that's his parents" Jacks says and I laugh, "ha! Right! Like since when have I cared about my feelings or others?" I ask and he looks down, "don't say it" I say and he says it.

"Since Ace and Blake and-"

"Hold on! Blake!? Ha! Your kidding right? I dislike him not hate but I dislike him with all my might and there are others? Since when" I ask and he looks up, "me" he said softly and I sigh pulling him into a hug I ruffle his hair, "you got me there kid, but I don't care about my feelings, if I had to choose someone kill me or you, I'd choose me" I say softly and he hugs me back.

"Alright kid now go to Jasmine" I say and he purrs at her name and I roll my eyes, "whipped" I mumble and he nods shifting and shooting off.

"Um Sky?" The moongoddess says pointing behind me and I turn.

"Oh right, the Royals that can't catch a Rebel Leader" I say smirking and the prince comes towards me and I growl putting my hand out and he keeps coming pressing his chest against my hand then he stops and shivers with pleasure I'm guessing and the tingles are there so I shoot my hand back and away from him.

I growl and he purrs grabbing me and hugging me to his chest, "man I love you already, but how do you know Ace Stark and Asher Stark again?" He asked softly.

I pull away and his parents are at each of his sides, "yes how do you know Ace and Asher Stark?" She King asks.

"Well you people don't listen; Ace Stark was my mate but after the war my pack had against the vampires no one except me and Jacks were left alive. And of course Asher Stark was the Alpha and my mates father, so- hey!" I yell as the King embraces me in a hug.

"It's me Sky, Asher" he says softly and I frown pulling away and looking at him, "what and your gonna say that the Queen is-"

"April" she said softly and I smile, "its you guys" I say softly and pull them into hugs.

"So looks like my mate is your other son, stop having kids" I say seriously and the King chuckles, "you'll understand when your older" he says smirking.

"You did not just say that" I say and he chuckles again.

"Well would you like to see Ace again?" He asked softly and I look at him, "really? He's alive" I ask and he nods, "yes, he is"
