-Alpha Mason Rivers-

Alpha Mason Rivers sits in his office, and Tyler is sitting across from him. Rumors have been going around about werewolves disappearing; Smaller packs around the four biggest packs, Pack Rivers, the Blood Moon Pack, Pack Highlands, and the Crimson Pack. Smaller packs around them have been disappearing for two moons now, and the Alphas have no idea why. This new Alpha coming on Alpha Mason’s territory confirms it. Peter isn't the only one who has been a new member of his pack. He is, however, the first Alpha of a pack Mason came across. Being a new pack member, Peter had to let go of his title to be in a pack again. Mason is the Alpha of this pack. "Alpha Mason, we never call the other Alphas for help with rogues," Tyler, the Alpha’s beta states.

"The rumors I have been telling you are true, Tyler. Smaller packs around us are just disappearing. We assume dead, but we really don't know what's even happening to them." Alpha Mason informs Tyler. Tyler's light green eyes, that are similar to Mason’s, are wide and in disbelief.

"Alpha Mason, what does this mean for us?" Tyler asked. He doesn't know how to answer his beta. Mason wishes he did know the answer, but Mason doesn't even have a clue. He’s not sure if the other Alphas would have one, but Pack Rivers needs to call them and warn them.

Alpha Mason sighs before responding, "Tyler, in all honesty, I don't know. With that said, I want to do a group call with you here." He nods in response. Tyler is sitting there nervously, waiting for Mason to call. He never sits in his office when Alpha Mason calls the others. Tyler Blackwood never really spoke to one, at least during a meeting.

Alpha Mason dials Alpha Jack's office number, knowing he answers the fastest. He is the Alpha of Pack Highlands, his son Landon will be taking over soon. The first ring he picks up. "Alpha Mason, what's wrong? It's late," Alpha Jack greets. Alpha Mason dials Alpha Ethan from the Blood Moon Pack as he speaks to Alpha Jack. "Alpha Jack, I am dialing the Alphas to join us in the conference call. All of you need to hear this," Alpha Mason tells him. The phone rings a few times; then, Alpha Ethan picks up. Mason added Ethan immediately to call. "Alpha Mason, what's this about," Alpha Ethan responds.

"Alpha Ethan, I also have Alpha Jack on the line. I am calling Alpha Crimson, adding him to the conference. I also want to add; I have my beta Tyler with me." Alpha Mason explains. Mason hears Alpha Ethan sigh as he dials Alpha Crimson's number. They don't get along with one another. Alpha Crimson is more opinionated, and Alpha Ethan is more self-reserved. With everything Alpha Ethan has been through losing his mate and family, Alpha Mason can see why.

Alpha Crimson answers on the third or fourth ring. He sighs as he answers. Mason knows he wants to do anything but be on the phone. "Alpha Mason, what an honor," Alpha Crimson snaps at him. Alpha Mason rolled his eyes.

"Show some respect Alpha Crimson," Alpha Ethan butts in before it can escalate any farther.

"Okay, Alpha Mason, we are all here, at this late hour. What is so urgent?" Alpha Jack jumps in. Mason sighs again and thinks to himself, where do I start.

"Well, today, we had a small pack run through my territory. My mission team thought they were rogues when it was a small pack, looking to relocate," Alpha Mason starts off. "When I talked to him, he told his story, being the Alpha of his pack. He explained and confirmed the rumors. Smaller packs are just disappearing, without a trace, and not coming back," Alpha Mason continued.

It was a long silence before Alpha Crimson spoke, "And this source, they don't know how, or why."

"No, he just noticed the neighboring packs are disappearing, so he was looking to relocate to the mountain past my pack," Mason explained.

Ethan sighs and says, "So let me get this straight, small packs are disappearing, without a trace. Because of this, we get werewolves running through our lands. We think they are rogues, so we kill them. What do we tell our packs without telling who, why, and where?" The Alpha thought for a moment, not knowing what he was going to tell his pack if he was going to say anything. They don't know what these small packs are capable of; they could hurt their pack members.

"We need to warn our pack members of something; we don't know if these small packs will hurt our packs," Alpha Mason suggested.

"Well, we can tell our packs that they're rogues and put a curfew," Alpha Jack offers to lie to their packs. They think about that for a moment, knowing their packs won't react well without knowing anything about this new enemy. Their packs know what rogues are; they won't react badly. Mason hates the idea of lying to his pack, but Mason doesn't think he has a choice.

"Alright, we lie to our pack; we will say it's rogues," Alpha Mason informs them what he chose to do. Alpha Crimson and Alpha Ethan ended up agreeing with Alpha Jack and Alpha Mason.

He sighs, knowing he’s not strong enough for this war to come. "Alphas, I'm not sure if myself and my pack will survive this," Alpha Mason admitted to them. It's quite difficult to admit that he’s not strong enough to protect his pack from war. Alpha Mason has been feeling weaker from not being mated. His pack is getting weaker, too; most of his pack is unmated and losing its strength.
"No luck finding your mate, Alpha," Ethan states.

"No, and I don't know what we are going to do," Mason told them.

"Well, years ago, my grandfather couldn't find his mate. He had to throw a big party and invited everyone. No one says no to an Alpha," Alpha Jack suggests.

"We can even show up a few weeks before the party to plan for war," Alpha Crimson offers.

"Alright, so everyone in your packs are invited, including you, Alpha Ethan; maybe you can find someone who lost their mate too," Alpha Mason invited them. Mason hears Ethan sigh at that.

"Alright, I'll go, but I doubt I'll find someone. I'm only going for the meetings," Alpha Ethan states.

"Just make sure, whoever is planning the party, only knows about the party," Alpha Crimson comments.

"My sister Anna and my head Omega Daniel are planning it. My sister Anna will know; she already knows about the packs disappearing," he informed the others.

"Well, if that is all, Alpha Mason, it's always a pleasure, but it's late. I will see you all in a few weeks," Ethan says his goodbyes. His line then drops.

"Great, then it's a plan, and if you need anything else. I'm just a call away, have goodnight gentlemen," Alpha Jack says his farewells. Alpha Jack's line drops right after.
"Alpha Mason, it's a pleasure. Good luck in the next couple of weeks. I'll see you soon," Alpha Crimson hangs up last. Alpha Mason looks at Tyler, his Beta, and he stands up. "Tyler, please get my sister Anna. She and Daniel will have a party to plan. We will find our mates Tyler, don't worry. I also need you to plan with Wolf News tomorrow morning; I will be on tomorrow evening for the curfew announcement. You will be doing the party announcement sometime next week," Alpha Mason orders.

He bows and says, "yes, Alpha Mason."
Tyler leaves Alpha Mason’s office; He sits back in his chair and sighs. "I need a vacation," Mason told himself.

He hears a knock on the door, and he sits up. "Come in," Alpha Mason told them.

Anna opens the door and closes when she walks in. "Mason, do you know how late it is," Anna says as she stands in front of him in her pajamas. Her chestnut brown hair is in a braid, and she has her reading glasses on. Most of the pack has the traditional Pack Rivers look, brown hair and green eyes, so not a whole lot of people know but Anna is adopted. Mason’s mother always wanted a daughter and couldn't conceive on her own after having the Alpha. He’s only older by two years, so Mason only remembers having Anna as his sister.

"Sorry, Anna, but it's urgent. The rumors are sadly true, and all the packs are invited to a party. I want invitations out next week; work with Daniel," Mason quickly tells her. She's exhausted and cranky. He doesn't think she wants all the details. She puts her hand up and says, "hold the phone. The rumors are true," Anna says as she sits down. Mason sighs in response. "Yes, the rumors are true; our kind is endangered right now. I still can't find my mate, and neither can my high ranked pack members. So Alpha Jack suggested throwing a party and inviting all the packs. I am putting you in charge of the party planning, and Daniel as Head Omega," Alpha Mason explained in more detail. She nods slowly in response. "You may go and have a goodnight; Daniel will not have to do his normal duties as Head Omega; someone below him will take over for the time being. Be sure to tell him," Mason dismisses Anna.

Alpha Mason looked at the clock and realized that it's just about ten at night. No wonder Anna was upset with him asking her to come to the office. He sighs as he gets up and heads to his bedroom. It's time to call it a night for him.

***

As Mason strips off his clothes and crawls into bed, Mason wonders what his mate is doing, craving her to be next to him. The Alpha needs his mate soon, or the pack and him won't survive.

-Tyler Blackwood-

After the phone conference with the other three Alphas Tyler listened in on, he called it a night. Tyler drags his feet, feeling drained, all the way to the third floor to his bedroom. As Tyler is getting older, nearly twenty-five, and Tyler feels double the age at the end of the day.

When Alpha Jack suggested the party idea to find mates, Tyler got excited about the idea, and couldn't wait to meet his mate. After giving Anna, the Alpha's sister the message for her to go to his office. She looked like she wanted to yell at Tyler for not convincing Alpha Mason to wait until morning. She went anyway and Tyler sauntered to his bedroom after she rants to him and stomps off.

Once Tyler gets to his door, he punches his pin to open it. As soon as his door opens Tyler's shirt and pants come off. Tyler continues to drag his feet to his connecting bathroom and hops in his bed when he's ready to call it a night. "I'm tired of being tired," Tyler says out loud, laying in bed.

-Aaron White-

Aaron White is the pack's Ambusher and his brother Kyle White is the pack's Tracker. They are in charge of missions of attacking and finding people outside the Pack Rivers' territory. Along with Paul who does the team's scouting, and the areas around the pack.

Aaron, like Tyler and Mason, is unmated. He notices the difference with his team alone. Word goes around about the party, and the two brothers were very excited about it.
Before the party was decided it was Aaron who found Peter's old pack. Aaron had no idea they were a pack relocating, no one did. The whole team, Aaron, Kyle, and Paul felt bad killing most of them.

Aaron, the leader of the three, knows Paul has noticed some neighboring packs haven't been around in two months. Paul told Aaron there was no trace of them, like no one was there to begin with. Not even a scent to whom could have killed or taken the whole pack. A small pack has roughly ten pack members including Alpha and Luna.
Paul Greenfields is the scout for the pack and the best friend towards the two brothers. The three of them always are on missions together, working as the perfect team. Aaron has a feeling continuing constant missions won't end anytime soon, not with war coming up.

-Daniel Markus-

When Daniel wakes up in the morning, Anna informs Daniel his new tasks are for the next couple weeks. That invitations need to be made and a party to plan.

Anna stands in Daniel's doorway, with designs in her hand for the invitations. "Okay so I made designs for the invitations that need to be sent out to everyone. Alpha Mason said you don't have your normal duties again until the party is done," Anna tells Daniel the order. Anna hands him the designs from last night, and Daniel smiles happily taking the new tasks.

By the end of the day Daniel, the head of the omegas, finished about a third of the total that needed to be done. Believe it or not Daniel kind of missed his normal duties, he would talk to his friends and see Mason, a close friend of his throughout the day. With him working on the party he didn't get to do that today, or the next few weeks to come.
