Chapter 6 ~ Give or keep?

"Conflict is the beginning of consciousness,"

"I assume you are here to learn contemporary dancing," Jimin said.

"Uh, no I just wanted to begin simply," Julia replied.

"Ahh, follow me," He said as he tilted his head toward the corridor and led her to one of the rooms almost in the centre of the hall.

"This is where you belong," He smiled at her.

"Ahh, thanks,"

"Jimin! We need you here!" A voice led Jimin's head to turn towards the back of the hall. "Alright then, I'll see you around," He said before nodding at her and taking his leave.

"One of these days I swear," Julia mumbled while rolling her eyes.

"If another enthralling man occupies my sight again I shall join here forever,"

She walked into the room, noticing the huge mirror occupying the space apart from the entrance and some dancers seated on the floor.

"Oh, you must be new here!" One of them exclaimed lightly and took their stand before leading their steps towards her.

"Ah, yes,"

Julia greeted them with a smile plastered on her face.

"I'm Gia," She said, extending her hand, willing to shake Julia's.

"Jade," Julia replied as she took hold of it and shook it.

"She's not the one," Julia thought.

"Our lead will be here any minute," Gia said as she invited Julia to sit with them.

"Alright," Julia said as she sat across from another girl with blonde hair, wearing a black sports bra, black leggings and a white tank top over it.

"Brittany," She said as she shook her palms with Julia.

"By the way, our lead dancer might end up falling for you,"

Brittany teased, noticing Julia's clear skin and naturally rosy lips.

"Ahem, so we generally begin with a simple warm-up and then it goes to choosing your partner,"

"Partner?!"

"Is she willing to open that filthy hole in her face?" Calice asked as Yoongi closed his journal in haste and made it vanish into thin air. Her hair waved along with the air as she fixed her leather jacket and crossed her arms. She was wearing black pants and a dark green T-shirt inside, with sharp eyeliner and golden clippings dangling from her ear cartilage and earlobe.

"Nope, she won't talk until you ask her everything. She thinks you have me under hypnosis,"

Calice sighed out of annoyance and heard Mia groan slightly again, waking up. Out of the blue, she punched Mia hard in the jaw, breaking it

"ARGHH!" She screamed her lungs out because of the excruciating pain.

"You better tell me what you are up to before we kill you," Calice said as she grabbed her jaw, pulling it back for their gaze to meet.

"A-alright! I-I-I'll tell you everything!" She groaned again.

"I'm here to stop him from consuming the power of Pacio," Blood began to flow out of her nose as her jaw healed by itself.

"She took 2 days to spill just one atrocity out, how many is it going to take for her to spill the rest?" She mumbled to Yoongi as she crossed her arms before exhaling, irritated and annoyed.

Yoongi whined and threw his head back saying, "Don't even get started on that," Calice tilted her head and tied her hair up.

"We better get started then,"

"I swear if they tortured her too much-" Hoseok said and stopped as he opened the door and was almost horrified to see the love of his life in a state he had never seen her in.

"What in the heavens?!" Seokjin exclaimed as he looked at her as well. (You can guess the crack version of his astonishment)

Calice was yeeting the blood off her hand as she looked at them blankly as if nothing had happened.

"What? Never seen a damsel in distress before?"

She wriggled her fingers as she got ready to cut another one of Mia's fingers again.

"Tell me now, or else I have other ways to pain your little pompous and resistant ass," She mumbled, calmly.

"I wish to find the one protecting the hybrid, break the sire bond she's held onto and kill Yoongi," She blurted out before passing out.

"Oh,"

Calice frowned and scoffed as she wiped the blood off her hands.

"That was unexpected but will do," She said as she proceeded to walk out.

"Oh, and Yoongi, a word," She added as she stopped for a second there to mention it to him. He looked down and followed her out.

"What did you want to speak to me about?" He asked as they were now standing outside the abandoned mansion. "I shall receive the lire knife soon but I just came to realise something," She said before nearing him and whispering a few words into his ear. "What?!"

"I swear I will rip her heart out," Hoseok said as he watched Mia heal slowly and her fingers grow back.

"Time is more valuable to us than her heart," Seokjin replied, calming Hoseok down.

"I don't think she is up to any good anyways now," He added as he made a death glare at the tortured protector passed out in front of him, leaning on the old wooden furniture. He was wearing an oversized T-shirt and baggy pants, with new white sneakers, with Hoseok wearing the same but with an unbuttoned shirt over it all.

"I don't think it will now be necessary to keep her alive," They heard Calice's voice, signifying she was back in the room.

"What do you mean?!" Hoseok asked out of annoyance.

"It is simple, she is up to no good, we have to kill her soon," Calice said.

"So you better talk to her one last time and don't even as much as think about freeing her," She said before turning into a wisp and wandering away.

Hoseok looked confused.

"It is purely because the room is spell-sealed with her magic, only she, wolves and I can enter once we leave the room," Saying that, Yoongi turned and jumped out the window, looking back up, waiting for his alpha. Seokjin walked up to the window as well and looked down at Yoongi. He turned his head around before nodding slightly at Hoseok. He turned and escaped the window as well, both of them disappearing. Hoseok just stood before Mia, almost about to awaken from the oblivion of misery and agony.

"I guess I must leave as well,"

"Oh! He's on holiday today?" Brittany asked to confirm. Julia noticed her nodding and then turning towards her direction. She neared Julia with a look of relief.

"So he is on a holiday today and we are free tonight. Care to join us for dinner and drinks?" She asked as she came to Julia.

"I'm not doing anything either so, why not?" Julia replied, nodding at her.

"Great! Let's finish practice then!" Brittany said before they continued to practice the current routine.

"Roll! Drop! Up!"

"Hah, that was tiring," Julia said as she dug in as her dinner arrived.

"So, are you going to continue learning?" Brittany asked, with Gia beside her.

"Of course, I'd love to,"

"Oh, and tomorrow you'll get to meet our lead dancer," Gia said with a dirty smirk plastered on her lower face.

"Why the snicker?" Julia asked, furrowing her eyebrows smugly.

"Because you won't believe it but I have tried like a thousand times to hit on him and he just isn't into me. How unlucky," She replied with a whine following.

"After this, drinks on me," Brittany said.

"Yayy," Gia exclaimed slightly as she dug in as well.

"I guess this is what it is like to have friends,"

"You what?!" Yoongi exclaimed.

"Yeah, I left without saying anything to her," Hoseok sighed internally.

"Why would you do that?" Yoongi asked out of concern.

"I know you still love her," He placed his palm on Hoseok's shoulder.

"I mean I do, but she doesn't and it won't really affect her if I say anything, so I guess I just have nothing to say to her," He said, tears beginning to trickle down his cheeks.

Yoongi's eyes almost softened and he just simply pulled Hoseok into a hug.

"Tsk, you literally hugged me to hide your softened eyes?" Hoseok managed to stutter while sobbing with nothing hindering his hics.

"Oh, just let it out," Yoongi said as he patted him on the back.

"I am tired of getting betrayed over and over again,"

"I am aware, I am aware, let it out," Yoongi stroked his back, sniffling as well.

"I bet this pain of mine is nothing before yours. You were betrayed by your ow-,"

"Oh for god's sake please d-don't remind m-me,"

Yoongi cut him off while beginning to break down as well slowly. Little did they know, someone was eavesdropping in secret while they cried their dark, broken hearts out. It was Julia. She couldn't help but sob silently from behind the wall. She was there to talk to him but just walked away. She knew what she did, but didn't know why and who made her do it but it didn't change the fact that she had done something atrocious 500 years ago.

"I miss you, mother,"

"Okay! 5! 6! 5! 6! 7! 8!," The lead counted before the routine began. Julia peeked into the room before entering and putting her bag down.

"Hey! That is the lead I was talking about," Gia said as she neared Julia as well and pointed towards the man in front of the mirror. Julia looked at him and checked him out.

"Oh, he isn't that bad," She mumbled.

"I know, right?!" Gia exclaimed. Julia took her jacket off, revealing her chiselled and detailed shoulders and arms.

"Damn, those look like she's in defence or maybe she's a fighter!" The lead thought as he looked at the dancer he had never seen. He liked strong, independent, powerful women who'd take the stand for their speaking. Julia stretched a little and exhaled through her mouth, warming up before she began to plod towards the lead dancer.

"I'm Julia, the new dancer Gia was talking about," She said as she extended her hand to shake his.

He did the same, beaming at her and taking hold of her hand into his huge one.

"I'm Namjoon, nice to meet you, Julia,"
