PAAYA HAI MAINE FIR TUJHE! CHAPTER 8

Recap - Realization...

The sun has settled down but this time Ragini isn't sad about that. She knows a new colourful morning is waiting for her. But before that the night is long and so is her list of topics she wants to discuss with her Sanskaar. She was so happy.

Ansh : mumma... call papa.. he hasn't come till now.

She looked down at Ansh who was ready for his birthday party in a suit. Ragini got down to his level and sets his hair. She smiles.

Ragini : don't worry bacha. He'll come... he has to come!

ANSH : still you call him na... party will start in half an hour and he promised me that he'll be back before the party starts.

Ragini realized that he's very tensed. She hugged him.

Ragini : i'll just call him beta.. don't worry..

Ragini calls sanskaar. Ansh sits on her lap waiting for any info about him. Ragini tries again.

Ragini : his phone is not reachable bacha...

Ansh ( hugging her ) ; mumma.. i'm really scared.

He sobs. She hugs him tightly, close to her heart. Fear consumed her heart too but she brushed off every negative thought which crossed her mind. She breaks the hug and wipes his tears.

Ragini : anshu.. bacha.. have faith in your papa. I'm sure he'll be fine and come back soon.

They look at each other. They both somehow are giving each other hope that yes, everything will be fine.

Ansh hugs DP as soon as he sees his grandparents entering. Dp took him in his arms while ap smiled holding a huge gift.

Ansh ; daaduuuu.....

Dp ; arre mera buddyyy!!! Happy birthday buddy!!!

He kissed Ansh's cheek. Ansh hugged him tightly. Ap too wished him and kissed him. They all come inside. Ragini, dressed in pretty purple saree, bend down to take their blessings. They both blessed her. Dp saw a new spark in her eyes. Ragini too noticed him and nodded with a huge smile.

Shekhar and Shomi with Dev and Sonakshi comes there along with their kids, Rhea and Rohit. Ansh was meeting the kids for the first time. He happily got along with them. The elders blessed the kids.

Ansh's friends along with their parents started coming and the party started with lots of songs, snacks and games. Ragini and Sujata were looking after everything while ram handled the guests.

Ragini came to dp and ap who were sitting on the sofa admiring her son. She served them cold drinks and sat beside them. Dp kept his hand on her head.

Dp ; tell me ginni..... what has brought this glow on my daughter's face? Or should I say who?

Dp teased.

Ragini blushed.

Ragini ; how do you know papa?

Ap : beta fathers know their daughters. If he can sense your pain then he can sense your happiness also.

Ragini smiled.

Ragini ; papa, ma.... i have realised that by loving sanskaar, my love for Lucky will not decrease.... they both have different but equally important places in my heart.

Dev ; so finally my sister is in love again?

Dev along with Sona and his parents came there. Ragini glared at him but then smiled.

Sona ; so tell us ginni.... how did you found out?

Ragini ; bhabhi... i have always loved him but never understood it. Like papa said, he actually took me away from the darkness and brought new sunshine and colours in my life. But i neither realized it nor respected his feelings... for a long time.

He looks down sadly. Ap held her hand.

Ragini : but now i know what i want. And I know how much I respect and love sanskaar. I know i realized late but....

Dev : i always knew you were a tubelight...

He said hitting on her head. Everyone chuckled while ragini frowned.

Dp : but its better late than never. I'm so glad ginni, finally you'll start your new life.

Ragini nodded and hugged him. Everyone blessed her. Ansh came there running.

Ansh : mumma.. papa is still not here.... i'm very scared.

He said hugging his mom. Ram and Sujata also comes there.

Ram : ginni, did you talked to sanskaar? His phone is not reachable.

Ragini : no papa... even i tried but same response.

Tension and fear was clearly written on Ragini's face. She looked at her parents teary eyed. Nobody knew what they should say because everyone feared the same thing.

Dev : ansh come here...

Ansh went and sat on his lap.

Dev ; ansh, do you know what's is the most power thing in this world?

Ansh ( nods ) ; the infinity gauntlet!!

The elders looked at him confused.

Shekhar : what??

Ansh ; arre thanos' gauntlet. The glove like thing with all the infinity stones...

Dev ; i understood beta. But that's not the most powerful thing. Love is the strongest thing, most powerful emotion. You dad will come back because you and your mom both love him so much. You love him na?

Ansh ( nods vigorously ) ; yes Mamu... I love him so much... but mumma also loves him now??

Everyone looked at Ragini who felt embarrassed. Everybody chuckled hearing Ansh's innocent talks.

Dev : yes mere bache!! Your mumma also loves your dad. And we all love him. so our love will bring him safely to us. He might be stuck somewhere....

Ansh ( whispers, only audible to dev ) : i and mumma loved buddy also but he never came back.

Dev looks at him with pain. How much this little boy has faced. He hugged him tightly. He takes Ansh away from there. Everyone looks on. Ragini again tries Sanskaar's phone. She was anxious.

Dev : ansh.. i know you miss your buddy. We all miss him but do you know why he went even when all of us loved him?

Ansh nods no.

Dev ; because he wanted you to be strong. He knew if he'll be there with you then you'll never become strong. He loved you ansh.. so never be sad when you remember him otherwise he'll also get sad. Okay?

Ansh nods and hugs him.

Ansh : but papa wont leave me na? Because i'm strong now?

Dev : of course beta. You're very strong now. You just wait and watch, your papa will come running to you.

He breaks the hug and wipes his tears. He cleans ansh's specs and sent him to play with his friends. Sonakshi comes there.

Sona : i hope dev, this kids heart doesn't break again.

Dev : have faith sona, God won't do prejudice again.

It was 8:30 and still no sign of sanskaar.

Everyone was worried but RagAnsh were traumatized from within. They kept holding each others hands.

Someone's Mom : ragini ji... it's getting late. When will he cut the cake?

Ragini ; just a few more minutes.. Divya ji.. his dad will be reaching soon...

Divya leaves. Most of the guests have asked the same question and they all have been delaying it for more than 45 minutes.

Ap : ginni, we can't make them wait more.

Everyone has to go to their work tomorrow. Lets cut the cake and then wait for sanskaar.

Ansh : no dadi.. i wont cut the cake without papa...

He started crying and hugged ragini's leg. She bent down and hugged him. she tried to calm him down. Everyone looked on helplessly. Ram tried sanskaar's phone but it was switched off.

Ram ; i don't know where he is. He told me while boarding the flight that he'll reach by 6;30 but .....

Shekhar : ram.. call at the airport. You have the flight details na?

Ram nods. He moves aside to call at the airport. Whereas,, ragini tried to break the hug but ansh wasn't ready to leave her.

Ragini : beta look everyone is looking at you. You're the birthday boy. Don't cry anshu...

Ansh breaks the hug and wipes his tears. He recalls Dev's words.

Ansh ; mumma... i'm strong. I won't cry. I know papa will come.

Ragini smiles at him and wipes her tears. Ansh looks at dev who shows him thumbs up. Ram comes there.

Ram : huh... flight was delayed by one hour that's why his phone was off. I think he should reach here in next half an hour.

Everyone took a sigh of relief. Ragini prayed to God. There was still a long roadway to get from airport to home. To divert the mind of kids, ragini asked everyone to divide into girls vs boys groups as they'll be playing antakshari.

As everyone singed and danced, Ragini's eyes were stuck on the door. She just wanted to hear the door opening and sanskaar coming in with his luscious smile.

Ragini : Ma, he'll come na??

Sujata ; ginni, if your love is true for him... he'll definitely come.

Ragini looks at her. Sujata nods.

Sujata : i was not sure beta what my son was doing? But today when i saw love for him in your eyes... i knew that now my son will not suffer more.

Ragini ;: i'm sorry ma... i took too much time...

Sujata nods no and hugs her. Rest of the family were so happy that finally Ragini's family was complete. Now everyone just waited for Sanskaar.

Ragini looked at the door with teary yet hopeful eyes.

They couldn't deny the guests more. Everyone was surrounded around the big cake kept on the round table. It was a chocolate cake with captain America's shield. ( Chris Evans 😍😍🥺🥺 )

Dev lighted the candles. Ragini and ANSH looked at door. The door opens with a sound. The screen freezes Ragini's face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
