Author's Note : As u guys know, this is a flashback for last four days starting from the time Kathir and Mullai returned home from the treat...
So now the flashback of treat day is over...
This is the next day when kathir comes to mullai home to speak about her higher studies... For easy understanding, i am mentioning the part names... Just check out the parts Yena solregha, kandipa varanum mapilla and Yena pidikum which is all about Day 2....

Day 2

Kathir got ready in the morning and came to mullai's home to her surprise....
He spoke about mullai resuming her higher studies...
He understood it was shocking for her parents as they didnt expect him to speak about her studies that too when the problem about arjun was in peak...

Murugan and parvathi were taken aback by kathir last night and really liked him for his character and way of handling things... They grew more respectful and lovable to him when they came to know about his efforts for her studies... Though they refused initially for some reasons, they accepted it...
To his surprise, they asked kathir to take her to college on his own... Maybe they started trusting him more and getting so comfortable with him after the last night's talks over phone...

Kathir could literally see the bliss gleaming in mullai's eyes and face... Wishing he can do anything just to see happiness in her eyes, Kathir reached PS shop...

As a next work to do, he called up swarna, got arjun's contact number and informed her that he will call back after speaking with him...

Kathir just moved out of the shop and called arjun from his number...

Ar : Hello..

K : Hello arjun...

Ar : sollunga.. yaaru...

K : na kathir pesaren...

Arjun disconnected the call... Kathir didnt try to call back... His mind probed into the words arjun let off comparing both....
Kathir understood what he would have spoke to mullai's mom in person definitely tons and tons more than what he spoke now...

She didnt utter anything about it to him may be not to upset him or in fear what if kathir mistake it but definitely would have shared it with mullai's dad.

Off course, He knew they never gave a damn about what arjun spoke and never had a second thought about this marriage or kathir...

If anybody else had been in the place of kathir, that person would have gone into confusion if he is not a better choice compared to arjun keeping in mind the things he pointed out...

But kathir being a sensible and level headed person, he never had such silly thoughts.... He pitied the fellow who listed out material things to be the vital ones for love life...

Studies,
Money,
House,
Business,
Status...

These were the things he wanted to instill in kathir's mind...

Never once he mentioned about love, care ,admiration, family, emotions or any other bonding....

A sarcastic smile adorned his lips....

He murmured to himself and came into the shop with same sarcastic smile...

Dhanam comes in with lunch...

All looked at her in surprise even kathir...

J : yaru anni..

D : yaru kanna, meena, athai elam than... nan than saapadu kudukanum nu vanthuten... video call potu ore koothu anga veetula... sema siripu... oru mani nerama pesarom...

Ku : paravalaiye antha pulla namma kudumbathoda nalla otikiche... kathir chumma sola kudathu da... un aalu inum veetuke varala.... athukula yelar manasulaiyum edam pidichuta...

Kathir let out a doting smile...

They kept chatting for some more time and headed for lunch...

All left to the room inside...

Kathir started to think how to proceed with arjun next...
He is sure he wont attend his calls and wont speak at any cause.....
Kathir called up swarna just informing what all happened over call with arjun....

Swa : sorry ne.. ipadi pesuvan nu na ethir pakala... romba sorry... loose madhiri pesitan... neenga manasula vechukathenga...

K : ada athelam illa ma.. na atha yosika kuda illa... aduthu yena panrathu nu than yosikaren... ini na kupita avan attend pana matten... vera no la irunthu kupitalum apadi than...

Swa : anne en phone la kupita... try pani paapoma...

Swarna called arjun with kathir on line..

Before swarna or kathir could speak,

He had cut the call....

As Swarna was busy fuming in anger, kathir somehow controlled his rage taking deep breaths and consoled her.....

Swa : aama ne.. mullai veetuku varen nu sonan ilaa.. varatum avan.. paathukalam... yetho mullai ku theriya vename nu paatha romba panran... varatum varatum...

Swa : avan than pesa matengarane ne...yena panuvenga... epadi sari panuvenga...

Swa : yenamo panunga... avan trichy ne... thillai nagar nu solirukan.... correct ah yenga nu theriyathu... friends kita ketu address solren... appuram UK la MS pana poran..etho coaching class ku poitu irukan...avalo than.. class time thavira mathapadi veetula than irupan...

K : appo sari ma...na nerla poi pakaren...ne enaku veetu address, class address, timing elam vangi kudu..

Swa : sari ne ok... aana jhakarathai ne..

K : kavala padathe ma.. na paathukaren...

Kathir ended the call but his annoyance seem to increase...

K mindvoice : porumaiya irukalam nu paathalum vida maatan pola..... sothikaran cha.....

M msg : en azhagan sapitacha... 😘

K mindvoice : yepadi oru msg la aala kavukarathu nu iva kita training edukanum.... azhagi...

With a wide smile and his usual gesture of rubbing the beard, he called her with no patience to message...

K : Oi...

M : hmmm...

Kathir laughed out loud again....

K (giggling) : hmmm bye...

All his rage, annoyance, irritation flew away and it was just mullai in his mind...
His mind was so fresh....
He decided to go to trichy and meet arjun...
He informed the same to moorthy telling he has some work with his friend sathish (the friend who is goin to stay in kunnakudi for two months to make outings easy just like treat day 😜) in trichy who in turn gave him some stock work over there thus confirming next day trichy trip...

Swarna who was equally interested in solving this as soon as possible got all details about arjun and shared with kathir....

That evening murugan and parvathi came to PS home to speak about purchase for wedding day and along with PS family they decided about going to kanchipuram....

After all talks over, they started home... On gesture of send off to them, kathir moved to entrance along with them...

Murugan glanced around and asked kathir about arjun...

Mu : mapila.. antha paiyan vishayam yena achu.... pesinengala...

K : pesinen mama... avan konjam pidi kudukama than pesaran... phone la pesina velaiki agathu... athan nerla poi pesaren nalaiki...

P : aiyo mapillaa yetha prachanai agida poguthu...

Mu : neenga thaniyava porenga mapilla...

K : aama mama.... namma veetula yarukum theriyathu... sola venam nu vituten.... friends varai kondu poga venam nu than....thaniya porathula yena mama.. onum prachanai ilaa...

P : vena mapilla....antha loose paaya kita thaniya elam venam.... yenga neenga kuda ponga..

Mu : aama mapilla na varen....

K (smiling) : loose payala... athu sari...

Mu : mapilla appo pesama sankar ah kutitu ponga....ungaluku thaniya poga prachanai illaa than... aana nanga konjam thairiyama irupom illaa.. athan mapilla...

P : aama athu than nallathu mapilla.. athan sankaruku intha payaa vishayam theriyumame.. avan yerkanave poi antha payala thitirukaname... swarna sonna.. neenga kutitu ponga...

Kathir thought for a second... Maybe this is a fair idea just in case he lose his temper with that slow-witted fellow, he needs someone to manage the situation...

K : Saringa mama... na annana kutitu poren...

Mu : sari mapilla... appo na sankar kita pesidaren...

K : nanum annana kupitukaren mama...

Mu : saringa mapilla.. nanga varom...

P : varom mapilla...

K : saringa mama... saringa atha....

Murugan called sankar ,explained about all the issues happened about arjun and asked him to accompany kathir in this... Sankar and Suji who were about to start to kunnakudi for meeting dheena family next day stayed back saying they have some important work.... Suji agreed with parvathi not to disclose anything about this to mullai....

Kathir too discussed with sankar about this and they decided to sort it out without any mess...

In the night, after some lovely engaging talks kathir informed mullai that he is going to be out of town for a day to trichy and he might not be available to message or call that day as he didnt know what kind of day its going to be....
Mullai without knowing all these happening around her slept peacefully after her chats with kathir...

The day 2 came to an end...

Next day kathir started to trichy and mullai welcomed dheena's family to her home..
