Ben was walking into work when he saw Rey struggling, she had her bag and her laptop case , coffee trays and her keys .

"Need some help?" He asked with his own hand holding his brief case.

"Yes" she admitted and he grabbed the keys and coffee trays from her then opened the door.

"Thanks Doctor Solo" she said as he handed her he keys and coffee trays.

"You're welcome Doctor Kenobi" he smiled and she then stopped him .

"I bought coffee for the Professors and Doctors on our floor... I was wondering if you would -"

"Like a cup?" He asked.

"Would you?" She asked , her hazel eyes sparkling.

"Thank you Doctor Kenobi... I would love a cup" he then grabbed one from the tray.

"Your welcome... I'll see you" she said and walked to the break room to put the cups down.

Ben was at his desk checking his emails as his students were struggling through a pop quiz .

Good morning,

It has come to my attention I do not know many of you or have gotten to have our first meeting of the semester.

We need to discuss the future of the department and the new rules from the department.

He smiled and sent his RSVP to her email and went back to checking the rest of his email.

He saw the old stuffy professors, those who should have retired years ago yet love their jobs .

He sat down next to Professor Calrissan as they waited for the rest of the group to come to the lunch at the nice restaurant just a mile away from the university.

"How is your father ?" Lando asked as he sipped his coffee.

"He's good, he's starting a new tour... he's having a benefit dinner, I'll get you on the guest list" Ben told the older man.

"Great son" he clapped his back softly.

Lando was a professor who was good friends with his father when he was younger .

They went into different positions yet they stayed friends . As Ben began applying for jobs at the university he helped Ben get an interview and a letter of recommendation.

"Hello" Rey said with a smile. She wore that Ireland Grass green dress with a black blazer.

Her hair was out of its ponytail and instead in loose waves . Her eyes had a small wing with black liner , and her lips were a pretty rosey color.

"Hello I'm Doctor Reyhanne Kenobi... my grandfather Benjamin Kenobi was the head of this department last year and he was the one who suggested I apply for the job" she smiled.

"And I'm new at this, I've taught at a few courses at MIT last year... I am young ... only 24, but I've been to both Harvard and Yale with degrees " she smiled "and I've been out of high school since I was 13... so yes I was an awkward kid , only 14 at Harvard trying to find my way"

"Okay ... so anyway I'm hoping for a great year... I know we have a lot to do this year but I know it will be a great year !" She smiled and raised her ice tea "a toast to the History Department of Jedi University" she smiled and the group raised their glasses.

She took a seat next to Ben and smiled "was that okay?" She asked in shakily breath.

"You were great" he smiled and she let out a breath of relief .

"Thanks Ben" she smiled and patted his shoulder.
