CHAPTER 48

"Hey."

I was in the back garden when Adrianna joined me on the swinging bench that I was sitting on.

My parents were out and Greyson was staying at Tabitha's house.

"Why are you greeting me? We live together idiot." As much as I really wanted to act like nothing had changed it was getting harder to do that as I would completely lash out at people who had done completely nothing to me.

"Why are so angry all the time?" She asked and I didn't say anything.

"No reason." She rolled her eyes at my comment and I sighed loudly. "I mean it's not a big feel."

"Are you sure about that?" She mocked and I rolled my eyes at her attitude. "Or is it because you don't want to tell me?"

"I don't want to tell you."

She sighed as she draped her arm over my shoulder and pulled me closer to her. "Come on it's been nearly two weeks of this and I am actually sick of seeing you like this so tell me what's wrong."

"Chase cheated on me with Madison," I said quietly and she gasped loudly.

"What?"

"They've practically been together this entire time," I said and she sighed before pulling me in for a hug and I nestled my face into her neck.

I wasn't crying, I had cried enough and I really didn't have the energy in me to cry all over again.

"You are going to be fine," she insisted but I didn't say anything.

I just hugged her back.

When we pulled away, she brushed her hands in my hair as she looked at me. "Why the hell would they do that?"

"I don't know," I said quietly.

"How the hell can they just hurt you like that?" I shrugged my shoulders and she sighed as she tucked loose strands of my hair behind my ear. "I am going to kill them-"

"No Adrianna you're not," I replied as I pulled away from her. "Seriously it isn't a big deal. I'm over it-""

"You're over it?" She mocked. "You are not over it, you keep lashing out." She did have a point but I wasn't going to tell her that. "Addie," she said softly. "You're gorgeous, smart-"

"NornChase's type," I mumbled and she sighed loudly.

"I'm not going to let you feel sorry for yourself," she replied as she grabbed my hand and pulled me up.

"Adrianna-"

"We are going to a party," she said and I narrowed my eyes at her silently wondering what she was talking about.

"No-"

"We are," she replied. "It's like a senior slash college party."

"I can't party-"

"Yes you can," she insisted as she cupped my chin. "I love you okay and I am not going to let Chase or Madison screw your confidence, making you all depressed," she said sternly and I playfully rolled my eyes at her.

"I love you too," I replied and she smiled at me.

She wrapped her arms around me and I returned the embrace. When we pulled way, she said "we need to get dressed."

"Do we really?"

"Yes," she replied as she grabbed my hand and pulled me upstairs.

She chose her outfit first and picked out a red short dress with red wedges. "Go and get dressed first," I insisted and she narrowed her eyes at me. "Seriously you get dressed first and then I will." She nodded her head as she walked into the bathroom and I sat down on her bed.

A party was definitely not what I needed right now but I was still going to party the night away.

She walked back out a few minutes later fully dressed and I smiled at her. She looked drop dead gorgeous. "Oh my God you look amazing!"

She smiled at me and looked in the mirror.

She got her makeup and hair curler out.

"No I'm doing that," I said as I sat down by her dressing table.

"Babe its fine-"

"No I'm doing it." She rolled her eyes but nodded her head. "You are totally getting laid."

She looked up at me and said "I have Johnson."

"I know," I replied and she smiled at me.

I finished curling her hair and then began on her makeup as I made sure it matched her outfit.

She stood up once I finished and smiled at me.

"Your turn," she said with a smirk and chose a pink short dress with pink heels and straightened my hair.

When we got to the party, it was already buzzing. "This is at Isabella's house," I whispered to her and she smiled at me.

"So?"

"So you didn't tell me that." She shrugged her shoulders as she grabbed hand. "Jheez people are starring at you."

"What do you expect? Mom made me a model," she replied with a wink and I smiled at her.

"Hey," Isabella said with Lana by her side and I just stayed quiet.

"I'm Lana," Lana said and Adrianna nodded her head. "I know you're Adrianna," she added before should even introduce herself.

I leaned towards her and whispered "total weirdo" in her ear and she smirked at me.

"Are two friends or something?" Lana asked.

"Wouldn't you like to know?" I mocked and Lana scoffed loudly. Adrianna linked her arm with mine and looked at Lana.

"No, actually we're not friends, we're sisters," she corrected.

"Sisters? You look like you're the same age though," Lana replied.

"I'm a year older, we just look the same," Adrianna said and I pulled away from her.

"I'm going to get drunk-"

"No you are not," she said instantly as she knew that I went wild when got drunk and that I really needed looking after.

"Come on I need one after the shit that I've gone though."

"Mom will kill you," she replied and I rolled my eyes at her.

"She doesn't need to know, now leave me alone." I walked away before she could even say anything and pushed my way through the crowd.

I walk into the kitchen and grabbed a glass, ignoring the fact that it burned my throat.

Rick walked towards me and I sighed loudly. "Never thought I would see you here."

"Well the same can be said for you," I retorted and he smirked.

He chucked as he walked closer to me and also grabbed a drink.

We started talking and I learnt that he had an older brother and lived with his mom because his dad left when he was younger.

I was half way nearly finished my glass and I could feel myself start to get tipsy.

"Wow, are you drunk already?" he asked and I rolled my eyes at him.

"No I am not drunk," I replied offended.

"You are."

"No I am a little bit tipsy that's it," I mumbled and he chuckled as he smirked at me.

"Let's do body shots?" He suggested and I smiled.

"I'm doing it on you," I replied and he laughed nodded his head.

The kitchen was buzzing but we didn't care as he took his shirt off.

I got a tequila bottle from the table along with sliced lime, shot glass and salt.

"Where do you want me to do it?" I seductively asked as I winked.

"How about my six pack?" He retorted with an arrogant smirk on his face. He clearly loved his body and I didn't blame him because with a body like his, I wouldn't hide it either.

Everyone turned their attention to us as he laid down on the counter and I climbed on top of him as I licked his six pack. I grabbed the salt shaker which I placed on the counter. I poured the drink on his body before taking the shot.

"What the hell?" I heard Luciana's voice as she pulled me away from Rick.

"We were just doing a shot," Rick replied.

"It was a nice shot," I slurred.

"Oh my God is she drunk?" Luciana said, looking at Rick.

"No I'm not drunk, I'm just really happy," I replied and she clenched her jaw.

"Oh God she's drunk," she mumbled. "You're going to bed," she said as she grabbed my hand and dragged me up the stairs against my own will.

When I woke up, I had the biggest hangover and I realised why I never usually drank.

I realised I was tangled up beside someone and it was Adrianna. I sighed in relief and cuddled to her right side.

My small movement managed to wake her up as she looked at me. "You're awake."

"Looks that way," I mumbled.

"How's your head?" She asked and I rolled my eyes at her as I stared at her in disbelief.

"Who can you even ask me that? It kills."

She smiled as she brushed my hair away from my face. "You deserve that," she muttered. "Who told you to drink that much?"

"I just wanted to feel free," I said quietly and she sighed as she kissed my forehead.

"I know."

"You really don't Adrianna. I wanted to forget this stupid pain I was feeling and this was the only way I knew how to do it."

She gave me a small smile as she got up. "I'm going to freshen up okay?" I nodded my head and stayed laying down on the bed.

The door opened and Isabella walked inside. "I know," she said and I rolled my eyes.

"You know what exactly?"

"I know about what Chase did."

"Fucking hell."

She sighed as she walked towards me and sat down beside me. "I knew he was jerk," she said and I sighed loudly.

She wrapped her arms around my neck and I buried my face into her shoulder. "I don't want to cry."

"Don't, because he is not worth your tears," she whispered as she kissed my forehead and I looked at her.

"Addie you better not be crying," Adrianna said and Isabella chuckled at her.

"Shut up Adrianna," I snapped rudely.

I pulled away from Isabella and folded my arms across my chest and wiped my tears.

Adrianna's phone vibrated and she looked at it. "Who is it?" Isabella asked.

"It's Johnson, he wants to hang out with me," she said quietly.

"Go," I said quietly.

"I'm not going to leave you like this-"

I stood up in front of her and said "I promise I will be fine okay?"

She looked hesitant but I still managed to persuade her to go. She gave me a hug and a kiss before leaving.

Veronica and Luciana walked inside and Veronica sighed. "I swear cleaning up your house took for ever."

"You're sober," Luciana said as she sat down next to me.

"Yep," I replied.

They both sat down on the bed and I looked at Isabella. "Do they know too?"

"Yep," Veronica said and I groaned. "Chill out Addie it isn't like we think any less of you," she retorted but I didn't say anything.

"They are retarded people and a disgrace to the human population," Luciana said and I gave her a small smile.

"Yeah she's right," Isabella said as she linked her arm with mine. "And who cares if he did that? You will just find someone who treats you way better."

"I doubt it," I mumbled.

"Don't degrade yourself like that," Luciana said as she put her hand on my knee. "You're amazing and if they can't see that then screw them."

I gave her a small smile but couldn't hide the tears that fell down my cheeks. "Hey, he isn't worth your tears," Veronica said as she wiped my tears from my face. "You have us," she said and I smiled.

She wrapped her arms around me and I returned the embrace. "Group hug!" Luciana said and we all had a group hug.

Maybe I would be okay.
