CHAPTER 34

"How is she?" I asked Jade and she glared at me. "What have I done now?" I asked.

"She is everything that you and Madison aren't," she replied.

"What are you talking about?"

"Your little bowling trip," she said and my eyes widened.

The only person who knew was Ben and surely he wouldn't let something like that slip would he?"

"How do you know about that?"

"It's hone of your business how I know, the thing is, that I know," she snapped. She had been with Addison for nearly a week and school was starting again tomorrow.

"Jade how is my girlfriend is?"

"Oh you're girlfriend?" She mocked as she put her hands on her hips and I rolled my eyes at her. This had nothing to do with her and I didn't know why she was acting like such a brat. "She is only your girlfriend whenever you want her to be and you know that." I rolled my eyes at her and folded my arms across my chest.

"Shut up Jade you don't get it okay. It isn't like that.

"So explain it to me," she replied and I rolled my eyes at her.

"I like Madison okay?"

"But you're with Addie!"

"I know that but where the hell has she been? She doesn't even call or text, she has even stopped the texts that she did-"

"You do not have the right to get angry at Addison so don't you dare stand there and try and blame the fact that you are cheating on her."

"Guys," Eric said as he looked at us.

We were all hanging out at Joel's house before school started again and Jade had to ruin that.

"Jade has a point," Piper chipped in.

"Stop it," Madison said as she looked at Piper.

"I don't get it," Spencer said as she looked at Madison and me. "Are you two together or what?"

"No we're not," Madison replied.

"But you've been going on dates," Jade mocked.

"Guys," Joel said wanting to stop the argument.

"Shut the fuck up Joel," Piper said and Joel gasped.

"Shut up Piper I just want the arguments to stop," he replied as he stood up and she stood up too running her hand through her blonde hair.

"Oh really? Because you are the one who is on Chase's side. You are there supporting his stupid actions. Do you think its okay to cheat on a girl Joel? Do you think that it is okay for him to cheat on Addie? I mean the last time I checked, Addie was your friend too."

They sighed and a small awkward formed and I folded my arms across my chest.

"Pips," Spencer said as she stood beside her. "He isn't worth it."

"Guys come on you are acting like we're all against one another," Ben said and I smiled at him. I appreciated that they were just trying to calm everything down but I knew the girls were on Addison's side.

Madison stood up and everyone looked at her. "We know that you guys don't agree with the choices that Chase and I have made. Yes we have made mistakes but then again we are humans and we are bound to make mistakes-"

"Bound to make mistakes?" Jade mocked. "This isn't a mistake," she said through gritted teeth. "Mads how the hell can you do that?" She asked quietly. She didn't look as angry as she did when she looked at me.

"I don't know Jade it just happened."

"How does something like this just happen?" Spencer asked rudely.

"I don't know," Madison snapped and I knew she was getting annoyed.

Leticia stoop up and stood next to Madison, opposite Spencer, Piper and Jade. "Oh great look who is on her side," Spencer said and Leticia rolled her eyes. "You are all supposed to be both Chase and Madison's best friends but you're quick to judge them both."

Leticia was right.

Joel stood next to Leticia and Spencer and Jade rolled their eyes.

"So what happens now? Are you going to get together and be a couple?"

Lately I had been isolating myself from my friends for a few days and I felt terrible. I did feel lonely but I felt lonely because I didn't have Madison not because I didn't have Addison.

I was actually not even feeling anything for Addison.

Her name used to bring butterflies to my stomach but that feeling had gone all of a sudden.

I knew what it meant. It mean that I wasn't in love with her anymore.

This all happened once I saw Madison in a different way. Madison was simply awesome.

She was completely different to Addison.

Madison was care free and laid back whereas Addison was uptight and organised. Madison didn't care about her appearance but Addison did. There were so many differences between them that I could mention all day long.

I thought that we could make it through this long distance relationship but then I saw Madison in a different light.

"We can't get together, he's with Addie," Madison said and I sighed loudly.

"So stop this shit going on with you."

Madison walked way, clearly annoyed at Piper's comment and I sighed before following her.

"Mads," I said and she took a deep breath. She head tears running down her face and I wiped them away.

I wiped her tears and pulled her into me. She hid her face into my chest and I kissed her forehead. "Hey," I whispered as I stroked her hair. "Ignore everything they say okay-"

"They are right, we can't be together," she said quietly.

"Yes we can-"

"No you are with Addie," she repliied and I pecked her lips. I could taste the salty tears and I sighed loudly.

I kissed her cheek and sighed loudly. "I love you," I whispered against her lip and her eyes widened.

She pulled away from me as she looked at me. "What does this mean?" She whispered and I stroked her hair as I shrugged my shoulders.

"I don't know Mads all I know is that I love you," I replied and she took a deep breath.

"Do you love Addison?" She asked and I folded my arms across my chest and looked at her.

"I love her like a friend, but I am not in love wither," I said as I kissed her lips again and she moaned against my lips as she made the kiss so much more passionate as we both conveys all of our emotions into this one kiss.

"Are you in love with me?" She asked quietly as she looked down  at the ground becuase she was probably too afraid of hearing my answer as I sighed loudly.

"I am more than in love with you Madison," I said and she smiled as another blush formed on her cheeks.

"I am in love with you too," she replied as she wrapped her arms sound my neck and I returned the embrace.

"Oh holy crap!" We turned to watch out friends watching our interaction and tears formed in Madison's eyes.

"You can say all you want about me but I am not going to let you hurt Madison," I said and they looked at me.

Piper walked over to Madison and kissed her cheek as she wrapped her arms around her. "Madison don't cry," she said.

"If you two love each other like you clearly do then just be together," Piper said and I clenched my jaw.

"Wait are you guys okay with us?" I asked looking at all of them.

"You guys clearly love each other so go ahead and do you what you want to do. I don't agree with the way you've hurt Addison and I want nothing more to do with either of you," Jade said as she left and Spencer sighed before leaving with her.

I looked at my friends who were still here and realised that these people were my real friends.

And if I had my real friends and Madison then I would be okay.
