CHAPTER 33

"Addison!" Luciana walked into my room while I was talking to Jade.

I didn't understand why she was yelling.

She stopped once she saw us and had a smirk on her face. "A hook up," she said looking at me and I gasped loudly as I looked at her.

"No it isn't what it looks like," I said through gritted teeth and rolled my eyes.

"Sure," she said as she winked at me. Jade a massive blush on her cheeks and I clenched my jaw.

I stood up and glared at Luciana. "Oh do you want me to go? I'll leave you two love birds to it-"

"Are you forgetting the fact that I'm with Chase?" I snapped and she rolled her eyes.

"Oh yeah," she replied as she smirked at herself and I rolled my eyes.

"This is Jade, Jade this is Luciana," I said introducing them.

"Is she from Boston?" Luciana asked and Jade answered for herself.

"Yep I am."

"Ew," Luciana replied and I hit her arm. "What?" She said and I rolled my eyes.

"We're from Boston Luce," I said in an obvious tone and she rolled her eyes as she shrugged her shoulders.

"So?" I rolled my eyes and looked at Jade.

"She tends to just say things so you should just ignore her," I replied and she smiled at me.

"So do you know Spencer?" Luciana asked Jade who nodded her head.

"Yep."

I turned to look at Luciana and folded my arms across my chest. "Do you want something?" She rolled her eyes and sat down on my bed.

"I just want to get to know Jade," she replied and Jade smirked.

"I'm being serious."

"So am I," she retorted.

"What happened to your boyfriend?" I questioned rudely. She had been neglecting her friends in a way because she spent a lot of time with him.

"Oh Dominic," she said and I rolled my eyes. "He's busy."

"Clearly."

She glared at me before turning to look at Jade. "I wanted to hang out with this bitch here but I think you will do just fine." Jade laughed as she shook her head at me.

"Addison is a bit of a bitch isn't she?"

"You're telling me!" Agreed Luciana and I rolled my eyes at the both of the before going downstairs.

There was a boy stood next to Adrianna and my dad was talking to the both of them. Adrianna had a blush on her face so he was probably the boy that she was talking about.

I stood beside my dad who smiled at me. "Addie, meet Johnson, Adrianna's boyfriend."

I smirked at Adrianna who rolled her eyes at me. "Hi I'm Addison, her sister."

"Which one of you is older?" He asked.

People didn't know who was older when it came to Adelyn, Adrianna and me because we all looked the same age.

"I am."

"Shut up Ads," Adrianna replied and she said she was older and he chuckled.

"Johnson I think we will get on like a house on fire," my dad started. "But you hurt my girl and we will not."

"I get it, I promise I will not hurt her."

My dad nodded his head dad I scoffed. "That's it?" I questioned.

"Yes that is it," my dad confirmed and I rolled my eyes.

"Why is that it? You nearly scared Chase away with the stupid speech that you gave him." My dad chuckled as he put his hand on my shoulder.

"I think you're over exaggerating a little." Before I could reply he turned his attention to Johnson and said "Johnson let's bond."

Adrianna frowned but Johnson kissed her cheek, probably not wanting to do more than that in front of our dad before they walked away together.

I stood beside Adrianna and said "do you even like him?"

"Yep," she replied and I rolled my eyes.

"I mean do you really, really, really like him?"

"Enough with the really," she said instantly and sighed loudly. "Yes I do like him."

"Okay," I said and she smile at me.

"Who had you down as the protective baby sister?" She teased and I rolled my eyes at her.

I wrapped my arms around her and she kissed my cheek before returning the embrace. "If he hurts you Ri then I swear I will not be responsible for my actions." She pulled away from me and smiled at me.

"I love you," she said and I smiled at her.

"I love you too," I said, wrapping my arms around her and she smiled at me.

"Look at you two," my mother said as she stood in front of us and I rolled my eyes.

"Why are you watching us? it's creepy?" I mocked and she scoffed ignoring my comment.

"She's right Adrianna if that guy hurts you in any way-"

"I'm sure he won't," Adrianna said cutting her off as she pulled away from me and I smirked.

"If he does then I could kill him and then mom will help me hide his body right mom?" My mother laughed as she looked at Adrianna.

"That is one way of putting it," she joked and I smiled at her.

"What if he is with you because you're a model and he just wants your money?" Adrianna slapped my arm and I gave her an innocent smile. "I'm just looking out for my sister."

"I can assure you Addison that I am not with Adrianna because of her money. I am with her because I love her," he corrected and we turned around to look at Johnson and Adrianna blushed.

"Come on love let's leave them to it," my mother said and I nodded my head.

Jade and I were already at Luciana's house before the party started because she had demanded that we should come early.

Isabella and Shane came together and met Jade.

Jade and Shane got on like a house on fire and I wondered if he just got along wth everyone.

"Hey."

We turned to look at Veronica and she already had a drink in her hand.

"Look who is already drinking," I mocked and she just rolled her eyes at me.

"Shut up Addison."

"You know it's true."

"Jade and I are going to the other room," Shane said and I rolled my eyes.

"I would say keep your hands off her but I know you're interested in Darren," I joked and he rolled his eyes at my comment.

"Sometimes I question why I am even friends with you," he said as he shook his head.

"You love me Shane," I replied confidently and he rolled his eyes at me.

"Yeah and I am an idiot," he replied and I rolled my eyes

He and Jade left and I just drank my drink.

Veronica's phone began vibrating and I rested my head on her shoulder subtly looking at her texts.

Will I see you at the party? I really want to see your beautiful face.

"Aw," I said and she looked down at me. She narrowed her eyes at me and I gave her an innocent smile.

"You're reading my texts?" She questioned and I shrugged my shoulders. "Dog," she hissed and I scoffed loudly.

"Oh shut up Vera before I ruin that beautiful face," I mocked and she blushed. "Who is it anyway?" I asked and she folded her arms across my chest. "Aw you're blushing," I said and she pulled away from me as she frowned.

Luciana and Isabella were talking so they couldn't see us.

"I'm sorry for reading your text," I said and she smiled.

"It's not even about that," she replied and I slipped my hand in hers.

"Then what is it about?"

"I'm not ready for a relationship and I have this boy flattering me with texts. How did he even get my number?"

I smiled as I just shrugged my shoulders. "Do you like him?"

"A little."

"So why don't you want to be with him?" I questioned and she sighed loudly as she looked at me.

"I don't want a relationship right now."

I gave her a small smile accepting her answer.

There was music blasting and I realised that the party started.

"Please don't ditch me," she said quietly and she really looked vulnerable.

"I'll stay by your side," I promised and she smiled at me.

"Hey." We both turned to look at Ron. He was a boy from our school and realised just by the look on Veronica's face that it was him who was texting her.

"Don't leave," she whispered in my ear and I sighed loudly.

"Can you give us a minute?" He asked me and I bit my lip.

Veronica was silently telling me not to leave.

"And why would I do that?" I replied and he sighed.

"I just want to talk to Veronica."

"Let's ask Veronica what she wants." I turned to her, draping my arm over her shoulder and said "do you want to talk to him?" She shook her head and he sighed. "She doesn't want to talk to you so get lost." He just sighed before leaving.

"He is going to keep trying you know."

"You don't have to listen to his bull," I said as I brushed her hair away from her face and she smiled at me.

"Let's go and party."

"Hey," I said looking at Jade who smiled at me.

"How do you like it here?" She smiled and shrugged her shoulders.

"It's not bad."

I laughed and shook my head at her. "I miss you and seeing the way you fit in here just makes me think that you're forgetting-"

"Jade I could neverr do that," I said and she smiled at me. "Do you want to go and party?" She nodded her head and I slipped my hand in hers as we walked back inside the house.

"You still saying sober?" She joked.

"Yep."

It was sober all the way.
